Yes it is. This machine is impressive.Destroying the Playstation reveal so far.
Do we really want Steven Speilberg to be associated with games again? (ET)Xbox One wants to be immersive, personal (with smart recommendations), and social. The Studios are going to use the immersive capabilities to do new stuff with comedy, drama, sports, and all the rest of the stuff you watch on TV. It's starting with Halo.
343 Studios announced a new live-action HALO TV show created by Steven Speilberg.
This could be big.
Meh. Don't know why I should care about that.Xbox One wants to be immersive, personal (with smart recommendations), and social. The Studios are going to use the immersive capabilities to do new stuff with comedy, drama, sports, and all the rest of the stuff you watch on TV. It's starting with Halo.

Didn't look like anything special to me. Just more "better with Kinect" type stuff. Pull up your fantasy stats (live updates...probably only if you play fantasy on nfl.com), call your friends on skype to taunt them, etc. What kind of partnership?
My understanding is that it will work as a cable set top box in conjuction with your current cable company. I'm sure many features won't be available from some cable companies. How does the TV thing work? Do you hook your cable box up to it? Is Xbox now a cable company too? Does it only work with local OTA networks?
I don't think I really want fantasy stats clouding up my big screen on Sundays. That's what my laptop/iPad is for.Announcing partnership with NFL. Exclusive. Making fantasy football easier in snap screen. This has the potential to be awesome.
From what I gathered, there will be pop ups on screen, telling you when your player scored etc.I don't think I really want fantasy stats clouding up my big screen on Sundays. That would be a good one.NFL on XboX One should include customizable NFL RedZone for your fantasy team.
waiting on confirmation of this.
Yep. Kept it short and simple, focused on the actual console with a few things sprinkled in. We'll get a lot more info on exclusives/gameplay at E3.Not sure they could have done much better, as far as the presentation goes.

$499 imoThoughts on price? I say it's going to be no lower than $399. If they come in any lower, Sony is SCREWED.
Rumor is $300 with a two year XBox Live contract (which will now be around $20 a month) and $500 up front. But this was the rumor that was "leaked" a couple of weeks ago.Thoughts on price? I say it's going to be no lower than $399. If they come in any lower, Sony is SCREWED.
I'm thinking $499... They are goign to position it as not just a gaming system and try to get a premium for it.Thoughts on price? I say it's going to be no lower than $399. If they come in any lower, Sony is SCREWED.

That was what many thought when they upped the price before, but the sheep paid it anyway. I did read that some sources speculated $15/month. But a huge price hike is expected.$20 a month? Nothing like comparing a currently unmade show to the best TV show of the past decade...I'm sure those huge expectations will certainly be metXbox One wants to be immersive, personal (with smart recommendations), and social. It sounds like that means you might be able to play games without the disc in the drive? My lazy ### would be disproportionately happy about that. The XBox One will still restrict the playing of used games. They will be tied to one account and you'll have to pay to unlock the ability to play them on another account. Microsoft is really going out of their way to ensure I don't buy the next XBox.

When? From xbox to xbox 360? I didn't own an original xbox so I don't know how much it used to be.That was what many thought when they upped the price before, but the sheep paid it anyway. The higher price is for those that buy the subsidized console and sign up for the contract at the monthly fee. It wouldn't affect the people that buy the annual pass (which is probably everyone here). That was what many thought when they upped the price before, but the sheep paid it anyway. What is it now? $59 a year at most (and I see WalMart selling it for $49). This is hardly a price to call people buying it "sheep". Decent value for 50 / 60 bucks. That was what many thought when they upped the price before, but the sheep paid it anyway. I did read that some sources speculated $15/month. Yes, but that kills being able to rent games or loaning and borrowing from friends. I don't buy used, but those other things I do all the time.It sounds like that means you might be able to play games without the disc in the drive?
