San Fransico Giants (Zito +111)

Kansas City Royals (Greinke +175)
I don't mean to Marshall Plan you, but that Giants line you got is off by a decent amount...around 15 cents.
Then don't............and don't worry about my wagers.

Should I stop posting? Everytime I post picks I get some jack ### comments

WTF?

We don't all use the same book and I have to roll with the numbers provided too me, for better or worse.

Prosopis, you bet Arizona like every day, huh?
Yeah I am a homer :lmao: but I really feel they are good bets this year. I will mention when I am betting them out of true blind homerism like I did this past weekend. I really like Micah Owings and if you can I would stash him on your fantasy team. I also think Dustin Nippert will be a great closer before years end.

Prosposis: Why the Nippert love? Just curious and always looking to exploit a little homer knowledge for my roto team?

2-2 yesterday:

Chase 1-0

Totals: 1-1

Sides 0-1

Updated Record:

YTD:

Totals 10-14-1 -4.90 units

Sides 13-11 +3.39 units

Chase Plays (Which are not part of the above):

8-5 +6.27 units

I got to see him quite a bit down here in Tucson AAA and I liked him quite a bit. He played over the weekend and was lights out. He was really working it for a spot on the roster.I wish Melvin would have left him in. Some will say he has sloppy mechanics with his feet and that wont cut it in the bigs but all I see is a guy who throws strikes and location was awesome. Another thing is Melvin seems to really wear down our relievers and closers. They wont make it to the end of the season. Someone else will need to be there and I see that someone els being Nippert. Melvin is really pissing people off by how he uses the pitchers here. He does not rotate them well* I have talked with him one on one a few times and he is about the nicest, humblest guy you could ever meet. I am really rooting for the kid. Check out how he did over the weekend.

Two afternoon plays:

Pitt +170 ( I agree with Pros here - this is a great value)

SD -125 - I think they bounce back after last night's shalacking behind Maddux

GLTA

I like the Under 7 in the Pitt/Stl game. Seems like the books are pleading with you to take the over, but Wainwright and Gorzelanny have put up great figures while the offenses continue to stagnate. Solid bull pens too.

I agree on Maddux and am seeing -119 at our book. Should I SCALP THIS????

Relax, dickphuk. This place can help at times, and that was the only reason for my post -- to let you know of the discrepancy, just in case you didn't. $.04 is not a big deal. $.15 is. Maybe you have a 20 cent line, I don't know, but if that's the case you can often simply ask your guy for a 10 cent line instead. They don't want you leaving, so they adjust it. Simple as that. Quite frankly, you are getting screwed otherwise.Saying that every time you post you get some jackass comments is very sensitive. You could/should have taken it as informative.

Is the syndicate still accepting applications? I'm one of the best hedgers and scalpers this world has ever seen and can predict line movements with the best of them.

The syndicate is always interested in seeing your plays MP.However working with you is another story. I don't think you would like our laissez faire attitude to much, it doesn't jive with the mojo you have going on and I dont think either of us want to be jumping off the Delaware Memorial Bridge anytime soon.** Just kidding MP but logistically taking on anyone else would be difficult

Okay, I've been dead wrong on just about every Astro and Cub game this year, so F them.

No writeups on these plays, as they have not been heavily researched. Just a long day at work, so some action for tonight.

parlays:

o9 NYMets/Philly -125

o9.5 SF/Colorado -115

No rhyme or reason, just think the overs in these two games look good.

risk 1.5 to win 3.5

Boston (diceK) -1.5)/Toronto (Chacin)+105

Detroit (Maroth)-1.5/KC (delarosa) -105

LAA (Weaver)/Oakland(Gaudin) -106

risk 1 to win 7

ytd -3.9

Big pitching advantages in the three teamer, Toronto is beat up. I like Detroit this year, no reason to like them here. Angels just have a huge pitching advantage. I know they are flying cross country, and probably without Vlad...but Oakland has been struggling big time to score, especially after the first inning. If the first two legs of this parlay hit, I may lay off some, unless I start drinking.

g'luck, I'm on a bad stretch, so fade the hell out of me to win some $$

Shoot, I was hoping for more than that. :D Anyway, I'm now curious what your lines are on bases. If you don't have a 10 cent line, you should definitely ask for one. Just tell him you've found another book with a 10 cent line, etc. Books will start out with bigger spreads to new/young gamblers, knowing that they may not realize the difference, won't ask about it, or are just happy to have a line to begin with. They are actually able to adjust their software (online) immediately for "better" spreads. I've seen it.

So, what are you getting currently?

Added Plays:

Apparently I agree with the syndicate on three AL overs - I think at least 2 of these three hit:

Clev/NYY O 10.5 -115

Balt +110 and O 10 +100

Texas +125 ( chase play)

Texas/CWS O 9 -110

GLTA

I was just kidding JTC, the syndicate and myself have two completely different styles. Things wouldn't be smooth. I do have a decent amount of information in regards to coorelated parlays if you are interested, but Red knows the general basis of what's involved so I couldn't add too much to what he already knows. I do have some other nuts and bolts info on pitchers and hitters I put together last year based on the best baseball book I've read (once again Red knows the book). I have it all in a database in Excel that works pretty well and takes just seconds to update - I used it with some success last year especially identifying underrated/overrated pitchers. I haven't made a bet this year anyway, I don't even look at the lines. The syndicate will have success, there's some smart people involved. Just play bad teams and fade steam.Rumor is Gambler is having a tough go at it lately, he may want to jump on board and ride the coattails...

 In the 5+ years we've been doing this, I don't think I've ever ever seen a baseball lean from Gambler....
GM, you would be correct and I am NOT betting these leans. FBG's is the place I use to document a new method/system so I have an actual record of results. Kind of a guinea pig if you will.
an old dog learning new tricks.....i like it.

:boxing: :D

I get people bashing me all the time (Prosposis no different) and now they want info from me?

Here's a hint, the book will do you no good, it doesn't give you winners. Your on a great baseball streak so far this season, who needs the book anyway? Go check last year's thread, I'm sure I mentioned it in there somewhere.
