1-0 (+0.95) last night, 5-9 (-4.31) overall.

Today I've got...

Yankees -175 - I just can't see them going on a three-game losing streak right now. It's an old team, but a good team, certainly worthy of keeping up a playoff push. Clemens gets it done tonight.

Angels -120 - Saunders is 4-0, he's keeping guys off base with a decent BB rate and keeping the ball in the park.

Rangers -110 - Wow. I didn't realize these teams were as closely matched until just now. Texas is only a 1/2 a game better. I guess I still have that mental picture of the 100+ loss Royals in my head. Rather even pitching matchup too, I'm going Rangers on the basis of being the hotter team winning 4 of the last 5.

Doesn't quite fit the thread, but there isn't one for it and I doubt there'd be much interest if one were started...and since SteelNation put a couple up before me (though I was going to mention this anyway)...

I'm going pretty heavy on Lyon (-175) over Sochaux this morning in the French Super Cup. They ran away with the league yet again last year, of their starting 11 this morning, only Kader Keita is a newcomer, they've had a nice preseason winning the Peace Cup in Korea as well as a convincing win in a friendly against Lille. Sochaux on the other hand lost their two best players in the offseason and captain Jeremie Brechet is out today. Without Brechet controlling the back line Lyon should score three today, easy win.

Day games:

LAA (Saunders) -121

Decent price on a pitcher that's been very good lately. A little home cooking here.

NYM (Hernandez) RL ev

Mets burned me last night, but I'll back them again. Redding going for the Nats is usually good enough fade material. ML price was around -205, and that was a bit steep. Mets offense is fully capable of lighting it up.

g'luck

I like Boston tonight -118, quite a bit. Shields has been used up quite a bit this season and its starting to show. Tampa on a 7 game losing streak. Take the better team at this short a price to the bank.

BIG CARD :(

Atl/Az O9 -105

SD/Hou O8 -105

Oak/Sea +100

Bos/TB U10 -115

KC +100

Oak +105

NYM -1.5 -105

parlay (I dont suggest anyone follow this. It is 1/3 homer,1/3 I will watch the AFL bowl tommorow,1/3 serious play) Az +124, AFL bowl Col/SJ O116 -110, NYM -1.5 -105

I usually dont have this large a card but I like all of these except for the parlay which is for fun. I kind of like SD today as well but decided not to play it because I see an awfull lot of people who like Hou. Good luck to all.

My Az Dbacks bet of over 78.5 wins this year is right around the corner.

I was going to throw your soccer bet into my parlay but they dont offer it at Betjamaica. They have MLS but no french super cup.

Parlayed or straight up?Should be easy money and second leg I'd play them, but I'm always scared of the fluke draw in the first, even if they are at home. I'd hate to lose on a bet I'm playing at -833. Also...curious to know where you're playing them, my only two outs aren't carrying Intertoto games.

Just to have something for the night...

Florida +116 - They've burned me two nights in a row, time to make up for it. Dontrelle's been bad, but he's not THIS bad.

...and just because it'll be on in the background of the poker game small wagers on Real Salt Lake (+190) and under 2.5 (-120).

Not very good but if the Arena bowl can go over 116 I will be looking good.

1-3 yesterday (-2.17), 6-12 (-6.48) overall...

Philadelphia -140 - Kendrick hasn't lost at home this season and Snell has lost three straight. Looking for both streaks to extend by one.

St Louis +120 - Brew Crew is slumping, I'll go against them as a favorite.

Oakland +125 - DiNardo's looked surprisingly effective as a starter, better than his 5-6 record

Toronto +105 - Betting against the sweep

LA Angels +113 - Neither pitcher has ever faced the other team. Moseley vs. Bonderman looks like a mismatch, could be a dreaded reverse lock game? Wouldn't even touch it but it's the Sunday night game and I'll be watching, so I want small action.

Straight up, book won't take soccer parlays-833  :kicksrock: The offshore books that take US $ have no idea what they are doing with international soccer lines...First off when betting on soccer you are already at disadvantage, you risk a tie or a loss. No one in their right mind would put 833 up on any soccer game!

Leaning

Bronx Bombers - Not getting swept by O's, Wang will be solid, Abomb #500

Cubs - Zam, enough said

Indians - Love CC today

Ha, my conversion math must be off then. I happened to see the Blackburn game listed at 1.12-6.75-17.00 in another forum. I thought I had done it right, but I never was any good at converting European odds to American.

Kansas City -103- Royals are on a 3 game win streak, their bats are hot right now as a team they are batting over .300 last 10. Leo Nunez really hasn't done anything wrong yet and his minor league numbers were not bad. Riding the hot team here at a short price.

Detroit-Anaheim OVER 9.5 -120- Angels bats on fire, .330 vs RHP last 10 and they have scored over 5 runs in six of the last 7 games. It will be tougher today vs Bonderman but all the same Detroit is going to have it easier today vs Moseley. Moseley is coming out of the bullpen so he will not be primed to go very long in this game. With both teams capable of putting runs up, I think this total goes over tonight.

White Sox -120- Think the White Sox get the sweep here, they have won five of their last 6 and Detroit was the team in the series prior. So they are in good form right now and Toronto coming off a game where their bats were shut down by Buerhle yesterday.

Also like Rox-Dodgers UNDER 10- 115- can't figure out why total is this high which makes me a little nervous actually

Pitt +122

Tor +110

Atl/Az O9.5 +100

parlay NYM -227,Chc -157, Cleve -180, Seat -129

I also have the total O116 for the arena bowl today to complete a three game parlay from yesterday.

Det/LAA O9.5 -110

parlay Det/LAA O9.5 -110, LAA +136

I am wayyyyyyyyyyyyy drunk and you probly should pay no attention to this post.

Strong lean. I think the public is going to jump all over this one:

VARGAS -108.

Maroth is poop. The StL offense is poop. Vargas pitches decently on the road and against righties, which should nullify Pujols to some extent. Duncan worries me a bit, but not enough to override Hart, Braun, Fielder, etc. against Maroth.
Since I can't find much of anything on today's card, I think I'll go with you on this.
This guy better be right. 2 units on the Brewers. Also added a unit each on the U9 in the California Angels game...and one on Cleveland over Boof.

Re: a couple of pitchers just mentioned:

Shields has been beat up a couple times by NYY, but his peripherals still look pretty good.

DiNardo has been doing it with smoke and mirrors, he was due for a major correction.

2-2 yesterday, should have stayed away from the Rox-Dodgers. Whenever there is a total that I cannot figure out why it is inflated high or low, Im usually wrong about it. Gonna try and stay away from these from now on.

Phil -101: I know that this is going against the Cubs at home, and is backing Philly versus a Lefty, but I think, for some crazy reason that Hamels gets it done tonight........

LAA - 120: I like Escobar against just about anyone right now, particularly at this price.

GLTA

Decent day yesterday, 4-1 (+3.09U) bringing up to 10-13 (-3.39U)

Two for tonight, both unders.

KC/Minnesota under 8.5 (+100) - These teams have gone under in 9 of their last 12 and Meche is probably the best bet of any KC starter to keep that streak going.

Detroit/Oakland under 9.5 (-110) - Other than the slugfest last night Oakland has been playing in tight, low scoring ball games as of late. Add in the "We've never seen this guy before" factor for the Oakland bats against Tata and I can see some kind of 4-3 game tonight. Of course this one could just as easily blow up the other way, especially if Tata can't last into at least the sixth because that bullpen's a mess lately.

Really don't see anything compelling tonight. Was out all day  after :cashout: :excited: So, looks like back to back days with no action for me

Looks like a tough card tonight, most of these games you can really make a case both ways.

Mild lean to Blanton, Tata looks like he can be hit and I agree about the Detroit pen.

Boston -143

Red Sox are 6-1 in Beckett's last 7 starts following a team loss in their previous game.

Red Sox are 8-2 in Beckett's last 10 starts after allowing 5 runs or more in their previous game.

1-1 -.2 units

Escobar gets NO run support - AGAIN!
