Hi Justin,Define BIG? :goodposting: Thanks
My BR has grown 150%+ in just about a week. Big in this case was 8% of my BR or so or about $40 with the Detroit Under. Detroit +121 for $20 and RL -130 (great numbers especially the RL) for $20 more. My entire BR was on the line tonight, but as soon as Detroit won 2-1 much was given back to me. Shaping up to be a very solid night. Hopefully KC can at least cover this RL. Red Sox -125 for $50 and SD +106 for $20 and +1' -204 for $30. Maybe San Diego can actually protect the lead tonight and win the game?I took a lot of Angels and the Over 9 +112 as well. Cubs/Over as well, very low total for Marquis and Lincecom's recent form. I never did end up taking any Florida, wish I had.

BIG BET on the Mets tonight.
Second biggest bet of the year for me. :bag: But, I can't take this #### anymore. Watching gamecast and all. This and the Cleveland game a few months ago were just painful to watch, down by a run or two, comeback in the 9th and win it. Almost identical bet sizes as well. Jesus Christ. :lmao: I'll see you guys in a few weeks for :goodposting: season. :bye: :bye:

Yeah, good job. I love do-or-die type plays. THAT, is gambling.

Huge night especially waking up and seeing the Cubs stole the game from SF in the 9th.

Oak/Tor O8.5 -110

I have this going over by quite a bit and I think the line is off but looking around I see I am in the minority. Am I missing something here?

Anyway that is my early AM entertainment for work today.

Suffered one of the worst losses ever last night.

Had Philly runs Over 5.5 (-115). Philly scored their 5th run in the 5th inning before loading the bases with ZERO outs. This would be in the bag in just about any situation. Two opportunities to hit one into the outfield for a sac fly. Perhaps force out a run.

Instead? Line drive out. Strike out. Pop fly to end the inning. And of course, they did nothing in the last 3 innings and Philly finished with the 5-4 victory. Absolutely brutal.

Then chased Chicago-SF Over 8 last night, watched SF get 1 run in the 1st and nothing through the 8th where I finally just turned my computer off in disgust. Then found out the Cubs woke up in the 9th! :lmao:

I knew chasing baseball with my NFL-X winnings would be a mistake, but I never learn. Greed and the opportunity to add to the ol bankroll ALWAYS wins out! :lmao: :lmao:

Are you going to get back in for the playoffs or stick to football Pat?

I played STL -130 and +162 on the RL. Great numbers for the Cards going up against a struggling Florida team. This game should be at least -150, IMO.

A positive day yesterday as I hit two out of three of my picks. However, I am sad to say I am no longer gambling, at least through online web sites. I have been using sportsbook.com for the last 10+ years. I had about $1500.00 in my account AFTER I had placed my baseball wagers yesterday. I logged on to my online account before the games started yesterday like I always do to make sure the bets went threw, and to my shock, my balance was at $0.00. :goodposting:

So I contact sportsbook, and they say I lost it all playing the casinos earlier that day? So now I'm like   . I told them in my 10+ years of being on their site and giving them my business, I had never played the casinos. I told them somebody had apparently accessed my account fraudulently and gambled away all of my money? At first they say there is nothing they can do, but I said that's not good enough and I wanted to speak to a manager. The manager said they would investigate this for me and would make a decision within the next 24 hours on what they need to do.

Has this EVER happened to anybody in here. I'm hoping they will see this was not me who gambled all my money in their casino. Once they decide what they are going to do, I'm withdrawing all of my funds from their site. I have lost complete trust in their web site now and will never use their site again.

I guess I learned the hard way, and I'm sharing with you guys. Be very careful gambing on the online sites. This could happen to anybody.

Good luck all as you may have seen the last of LB2000 and his gambling ways... :bye:

Anyone liking the unders in MIL/AZ?

MIL/AZ u8 +101

MIL u3 +102

Brandon Webb tries to extend his 42 scoreless inning streak. AZ wants to break a 3game losing streak.

If a hook was involved (or perhaps buy the hook), I'd be tempted. But then again, I suck at this. :football:

And no, I won't be in attendence.

I'm at work. Can anybody check the odds that Bodog is screwing...I mean offering its customers on the Toronto game? Want to see if it's worth calling in pro's bet.

Proposis: How strong do you feel about this one? I don't mind chasing, but don't want to go after this just because it's an early game.

This sportsbook.com discussion has been brought up in the past and it's NOT a good sportsbook to have money in. Other people I know regard sportsbook.com as being monopoly money. Even if they credit your funds back to you, I wish you luck withdrawing them. It's unfortunate, but you have to be very careful with these terrible sportsbooks at this time. GL.

Yea, I've read all the negative stuff about sportsbook. But I had been with them for 10 years, and NEVER had a problem with them. Even when you withdraw funds, it took them two weeks max, which to me is not THAT bad. I believe everything in life happens for a reason, so I think this may be a sign for me to stop gambling. I have a pregnant wife who is expecting in January, and I do not need this kind of stress right now. I'll give everybody an update on whether I get my money back. Sorry to vent in this thread, but I feel better.Good luck to all.

Sorry the game already started before I saw this. I feel pretty good about it but it bothers me that the line is low and that others like the under. I feel like there is something fishy about it. We will know in a few hours I guess.

I didn't get in so I'm sure it will cash.I hate nights like yesterday. That Philly game will be ripping at me for a long time and then I chased a game I had no right playing (Cubs-Giants). Do you know of any other team worth taking the over on the run total? Don't care about the payout. Just want to break this skid.

KC -105: Too good a price to pass on Bannister

Pitt +101: I look for another good effort from Gorzelanny today

Chc -104: I like HILL and this lineup against Zito and the hapless Giants

GLTA

Twins with 7 runs in the first inning. I would have loved to have a bet that cashes that early in the wager! :lmao: :lmao:

Can't I say I missed out on an opportunity though since nobody was touting it prior to the game starting.

Let them investigate and get back to you. If you aren't satisfied, go post this on a forum like therx.com or EOG.com . Someone there may be able to help you get this resolved.

Wow, Escobar isn't a bigger favorite than that?

GB the Yankees!
Love games like that. Was my only play (3 units). Poor Moose, they need to put him out to pasture. He actually could have got hit worse in that, without some good defense. It was unreal. Shortest outing of his career. At first glance, I considered the Angels again tonight, but Lackey hasn't been sharp, and if you remember my post earlier this month, the numbers on Pettitte in August (throughout his career) are ridiculous...like up there with highest win percentage ever, good. He puts it in gear late in seasons, no doubt. And this year is no different, the teaming winning all 4 of his starts this month. His ERA in those: 1,3,2,1 respectively. Actually might play the Yankees for once. They still have the best winning pct. since the break mind you, and I'm sure they're none too happy about last night (although that's not something I put much weight in on baseball).

And I haven't done this in a LONG time but it just looks too good to me. Arizona. I know, I know, but it's a one time thing. Suppan is not my favorite to begin with, and Webb is a total joke right now. I think I have to lay the wood. Or maybe I'll just parlay the above...

Tried to about a year ago or so and could never do it. The only site I could ever access on my phone was Pinnacle.

Angels the right side AGAIN tonight versus the Yanks. These lines are so off because the big money Yanks are so overvalued. Lackey and Pettite are about even to me - gun to my head I take Lackey. Angels at home are unreal, Yanks on the road aren't above .500. Bullpens aren't all that close, Angels in a landslide. Hitting I side with NYY obviously, but the Angels aren't too far behind.

To sum it up - best home team vs mediocre road team and I'm getting the home dog? Kidding right?

Even if I lose on the Angels, I'll be so far ahead thanks to this series. Reminds me of the Yanks/Detroit playoff series last year. Bonderman +130 at home in game 4 vs Jaret Wright. You nuts?

Well of course, value-wise, that's not really news -- all of it practically a given with the Yankees every night. But they do win some games (more than any other team since the break). And since I've got them at even money, I don't pay the price on a loss. Not sure I'd call the pitching matchup even, not right now anyway. Pettitte is a monster late season pitcher who's proving it again, giving up 7 earned runs for the entire month, in 28 innings. Meanwhile, and I watch him a lot, Lackey has just not been sharp, giving up 30 hits in his last 18.2 innings (3 starts) with an ERA of 5.3. Those aren't Lackey numbers. As you said, the bats of course are with NY (hit Righties even better, if it matters). And it doesn't hurt that they got embarrassed last night to boot. Look, I love to fade the Yankees as much as anyone. HATE that team, and love value. But this is one of those rare instances where I'm not giving up a penny to back them in a good situation.Good luck.
