****Official Black Friday, Cyber Monday and Online deals thread**** (1 Viewer)

Finally got my Sennheiser headphones and sound only comes out of 1 speaker.  Anyone know if I need to do anything to get them to work or are they just defective?

Is there a left/right balance on your source device?
I got them to work.  The cord felt like it was firmly connected, but it turned out it wasn't.  After I took it out and re-plugged it back in and that worked.

I took a closer look at how the cord connects to the headphones and there is a notch you have to make sure gets connected right.

What did you get and was it a good deal?
My wife and I decided this year to do one bigger gift for each other rather than smaller/surprise gifts. We decided on either new phones or a new TV. We had Moto G2's and an 8+ year old Samsung LCD TV that looked great a lot of the time but the blacks were awful so any really dark show was tough to watch  (and we love Game of Thrones).

Anyway, Best Buy Mobile had a deal up here where you got a $250 gift card on any new 2 year contract with a $0 Samsung Galaxy G6 or G5 Neo. We both signed up for no real rate increase (but different provider).

Then we went to Best Buy with our $500 in gift cards and got the 55" 4K HDR Samsung "door crasher" they had. Maybe not amazing deals and they were Canada specific and happened to be well suited to our needs but we're real happy to have new phones and a new bigger better TV for a little over $300 out of pocket.

Looking for good bundles for the Nintendo Switch this year. Nintendo released their bundle info already, but it’s not that good of a price. (I think it’s $379 for Switch, Zelda and a case. About the same price you’d pay individually)

I’m hoping retailers package it a bit better, or at least offer some gift card promotions with it. But, I may just say screw it and order it online and not have to fight the Black Friday crowds.

The bundles really aren't any savings overall.   Sometimes you save a little money but yeah if you get the giftcard back is where its worth it

I was talking about the wife. Still on version 1. Will not attempt to upgrade the unit if this one breaks down.
yeah I figured. I didn't keep the receipt from Russian brides.com was hoping to exchange for a newer model

Please let me know if the sleepnumber goes on sale (any more than usual) anytime in the near future.

roomba's are life changing btw.

Damn, I come in & it's 20 pages. I am looking for a 4K 65"+ TV. Prefer one of the current Samsung models. Anything good going on sale for less than $1k?

Also, a sweet S8+ deal would be nice too.

For the 1k range 65", you would be better served with the Vizio M series, IMO. A decent Samsung is 12-1500 range, and is edgelit. For that money you should go Vizio P series which is arguably better.

Certainly considering the Vizio as well

Are there usually deals on the Ring products or home security systems like simplysafe etc?  Looking to get a couple of those Ring floodlights.

Best Buy has Bose quiet comfort 25 headphones for $180. Those are the noise cancelling ones but are not wireless. I think that’s a good deal.

That seems like a lot of dough to me, and I like high-end stuff. Is this high quality needed if listening to digital songs on an iPhone or whatever that reduces the quality to 128 kbps vs 256 kbps?

I threw my roomba in the trash. Got so tired of coming home to it stuck somewhere or dragging a shoe because it sucked up a shoelace. I spent so much time preparing the damn room, i found it easier just to vacuum.

I'm real happy with the M series for that price point. It's not an LG OLED or even a Samsung QLED, but it's also a a third to a quarter the price. The M series is getting me over until the price of the OLED comes down more.

Does anyone make 60+" 4K TV's that aren't smart? I already have a device for streaming so I'm hoping to save money by getting a dumb 4K.

I pulled the trigger yesterday afternoon. Grabbed the M65 from Costco. It's replaced an old 42" and holy #### at the difference. Not only size, but picture and I don't even have a 4k source hooked up yet (may be getting an xboxone x later).

I had the same experience. Replaced a 42 inch Dynex that should never have been purchased. I bought a 22 inch dynex to have in the kitchen of our old house because it was more to listen to while cooking rather than actually watching. I bought it because of size and price with no consideration of picture quality. So a couple years later we decide to put a TV on the wall in the living room. My wife buys me one for my birthday or something and says, "I got you that brand Dynex you love." Uhhhh, thanks, honey.

When I bought the current house 2 years ago, I mounted that Dynex outside underneath the roof over part of my deck. Left it out all winter. Works like a champ. Picture sucks, but again, more to listen to while grilling than anything. That M series was night and day different. I liked it so much, I bought one for my folks for Christmas.

Daughter is looking for a 40" Smart TV.

I think I saw BB has a TCL for $249, but I think that's only $20 cheaper than normal. There has to be some better deals, right?
