****Official Black Friday, Cyber Monday and Online deals thread**** (1 Viewer)

I pulled the trigger yesterday afternoon. Grabbed the M65 from Costco. It's replaced an old 42" and holy #### at the difference. Not only size, but picture and I don't even have a 4k source hooked up yet (may be getting an xboxone x later).
Can you comment on how bad the glare is? That's one of the drawbacks I read on rtings.com. My living room is fairly well lit w/the sliding glass door to the deck nearby.

I'm real happy with the M series for that price point. It's not an LG OLED or even a Samsung QLED, but it's also a a third to a quarter the price. The M series is getting me over until the price of the OLED comes down more.

That seems like a lot of dough to me, and I like high-end stuff. Is this high quality needed if listening to digital songs on an iPhone or whatever that reduces the quality to 128 kbps vs 256 kbps?
It is the noise canceling that is really good on the QC25s, not the sound quality.  I bought some at full price, worth it in my book

I can't help much because my living room is fairly dark cimpared to yours. I don't notice much glare at all.

My TV is not in a place to have any issues with glare, but my folks have theirs in the corner where one wall is a 18 foot window over looking the lake and I haven't noticed any glare issues.

I threw my roomba in the trash. Got so tired of coming home to it stuck somewhere or dragging a shoe because it sucked up a shoelace. I spent so much time preparing the damn room, i found it easier just to vacuum.
This...a million times this.  Have they changed the technology in some meaningful way to fix this?  If not, I don't see the love.  Yeah, the kids love looking for it each time they come in the house, but it really was a PITA.

That damn noise every time it was stuck. Great moment in my life when i threw that thing away. I turned it on too just so i could hear it in the trash. Suck it roomba.

All this Roomba bashing is killing me. As a father of 4 small children who put as much food on the floor as in their mouths, I thought this was my savior. That or a dog. Guess I need to get a dog instead.

4 kids and a dog. Ugg. I would rather have to chase a roomba through a valley of bar stools.

I would imagine in certain types of homes it works just fine, but with the furniture we have, the rugs we have and all the open space (our entire first floor is pretty much wide open and almost 2000 square feet it would either get stuck somewhere or run out of battery before it finished.  Now, the one I had was several years ago, so that should be known.  Maybe they improved them.  Personally, I didn't get the appeal.

Maybe I need to hold off a little longer and make sure they don' still do this stuff.

The biggest issue we had, by far, was it getting stuck under our couch.  You know some couches have that "skirt" or "dust flap" or whatever they call it that goes from the bottom of the couch to the floor?  Ours would get stuck under our couch because it would get under, but couldn't get out.

Fanatic - RE: the Roomba - My wife did her research and found that for our hardwood floors and dogs, the BOBi supposedly worked better than the Roomba. We went with that one and I can't gush enough about how awesome it is. Our furniture has just enough clearance for it, it can handle the couple of rugs we have, and it rarely gets stuck. We typically each work from home 1 or 2 days a week, and will both run it while we're working. 1 hour later (or something like that) and the floor is pretty much spotless. We've only had it for about 3 months, but it's been pure gold since we got it.

I haven't swept or vacuumed once since I bought the thing, haven't done anything other than move some chairs around. I know some of you have had bad experiences, but for me it was the best money I've spent in a long time. HUGE thumbs up to those robot vacuums

Also - with a household of women, Uggs are on all of their Xmas lists. If anyone comes across any deals on them, by all means post them in here.

If you don't mind the knock off route

Ugh Boots

With 2 daughters, tried it for fun and they were fine with these. Probably 30 days with shipping.

Around the time my wife and I got married, I really wanted a Golden Retriever. My wife wanted a dog too but I was the one being specific about the breed. She was worried about the shedding and fur everywhere, so our deal was we got a GR but we also got a Roomba. I think we used it 5 or 6 times ever... like others have said in here, it isn't very effective. A year and a half ago my wife pushed for a second GR though  .

You can get both.  So when the dog takes a #### on the floor the roomba can spread it around the carpet like it is making a peanut butter sandwich.   GL

Just checked one of these sites out.  60 day shipping!
My experience with GearBest is delivery takes around 3 weeks for small items.  Shipping is only tracked until it hits the port of exit in China.

I think the 60 day number is an outside estimate for when a customer can file a claim.  That's been the case when I've ordered from international sellers on eBay.

I thought they changed their electronics warranty to 1 or 2 years.
just checked . they did change it but only for major appliances, TV's computers etc. no mention about vacuums

On Merchandise: We guarantee your satisfaction on every product we sell, and will refund your purchase price, with the following exceptions:

Electronics: Costco will accept returns within 90 days (from the date the member received the merchandise) for Televisions, Tuner-Free Displays, Projectors, Major Appliances (refrigerators above 10 cu. ft., freezers, ranges, cooktops, over-the-range microwaves, dishwashers, washers and dryers), Computers, Touchscreen Tablets, Cameras, Aerial Cameras (drones), Camcorders, MP3 players and Cellular Phones (return details will vary by carrier service contract).

Another reason some items have 60 day delivery estimates is because they are either out of stock or (as is the case with many brand new phones) the product hasn't even been released yet, but is scheduled for release.

I have ordered with them several times and even small items can take a couple of months. Sometimes the items are so cheap it's still worth it though if you don't need them in a hurry.

Yeah, we got a "bobsweep" (same company) and love it.  Really just for the dining room (we have a 2 year old) and around the kitchen (where our 3 dogs hang out during the day).  Prevents us from having to vacuum every 2 days, so now it's just once a week.

I’ve been tracking a number of tv models for a few years. Last year on 11/11/2016 Best Buy had a Vizio E70-E3, reg $1,300, save $300, BF2016 price = $1,000.

The exact same modelin its Early Black Friday ad 11/12/2017, reg $1,300. Save $100, now $1,200.

Sheeple see BLACK FRIDAY and succumb to all the years of marketing and just trust it’s all screaming deals? Dumb.

And Best Buy? Flagged for Unsportsmanlike Conduct.   :penalty:

Also, don't buy the E series. Spend the extra and at least get the M.

Whoa...question everything.  :tinfoilhat:

those Bobs seem about the same price. if Costco carried the bob I might go with that but that lifetime warranty is too tempting
And AMAZING customer service.  When I called once about something I mentioned that it was having trouble getting under one cabinet - they said that if I paid for shipping of each they'd allow me to upgrade at no (other) charge to a slightly shorter (but better) model.

:fishing:  Nintendo Switch deal/bundle

also, my daughter wants to start Volgging on YouTube. Any ideas on a good, simple camera she can use? Portable, can go on a tripod and shoots decent video.

:fishing:  Nintendo Switch
Ive looked at a bunch of early releases and scans, can’t find any of the major retailers doing any specials on the switch for BF. Saw a few discounts on some of the games, but walmart, target, best buy all showing the switch for $299.00. Im not sure of the amount of switches that will be in stock, so i went last week and bought it to avoid the madness, since the price will be the same.

feeling the same....rather have one now and beat the rush.......if a deal falls in my lap on BF or CM, then I can return it.

thanks!!

found a switch bundle for $313 at walmart that is the unit and a carrying case. For $13 extra, the case its prob a better deal then any discounts on bundled games, eps being my guy is only 7 and doesn't play the really big games yet.

Same with my kids. I'm not ready for this, but they are adamant about it. And not just a simple cam, but we also need a computer and video editing software

That was my thinking too. If i find a better deal, then i return the one i bought. But both of my boys (14 and 11) said the only gift they wanted was a switch, so i am not screwing around waiting just to save $20.

Looking for a 55 inch 4k tv for my 83 year old mom--frankly her tv is all she has in life when we don't go visit her. All she does is watch Hallmark and the Nuggets/Avs play.

I also want to get a 42-48 smart tv for my 13 year old daughter.

None of these have to be top of the line stuff because neither one of them are that discriminating--so looking for cheaper deals.

I'm a big fan of  TCL TVs, I've had 2 and haven't had any problems with either.
