****Official Black Friday, Cyber Monday and Online deals thread**** (1 Viewer)

Best Buy has the Samsung Galaxy S6 32 gb for $1 with a new 2 year contract. I've always used the contract with Verizon and I am eligible to upgrade, so I think I'm going to do this.
Man, can't thank you enough for posting this one!
no prob, and to update, you can actually get the black or gold 64 gb for $1.
I'm only seeing this for AT&T. Am I missing something?

Never mind. Just noticed the date on the post. Must be a day late.

I've gone to Best Buy for my last couple phones. They usually throw in a good sized gift card if you buy from them - This on top of normally giving you the carrier's current promotion.

So I really don't follow this stuff...any good deals on iPads out there?
You can search ebay and Amazon and usually home in on the bottom line price that they're going for, for the specific model/specs you're looking for. You might find a big retailer with a gift card bonus or rebate, but generally I have found eBay/Amazon prices to be the cheapest. That said, I picked up a pretty nice pre-owned iPad 2 a couple years ago for a pretty good deal on eBay.

May want to see what deals you can find on a refurb at Apple's store: http://www.apple.com/shop/browse/home/specialdeals

They cycle product through there. I'd have no problem buying one, and they certify and warranty them.

iPad2 mini have been around $199 for the last few weeks depending on the retailer. Target had some good deals.

Just go to Best Buy, they usually have a gift card you can turn around and use it in store. My advice is to not go to crazy on the memory just because it adds silly % of money on to it.

I am looking at a 55" Samsung 4K Curved TV, and am considering starting the process of cutting the chord. However, it was brought to my attention that Sling TV APP isn't available on the Samsung. I didn't ask why I couldn't just download the app, but is that resolution?

If I wanted Sling, would I need a Roku OR a blue ray player (other than Samsung) that supports Sling?

What other apps for cutting the chord are not available on a Samsung?

What is the best resolution?

I was going to bundle a Blue Ray player as part of the overall TV package, but I want to make sure that my purchase includes everything needed.

**

As for Sling TV, it appears to be basic cable (TNT, AMC, ESPN, ESPN2, CNN)...Is there a Sling Premium where you can get more channels?

Amazon Black Friday junk is up!  There are so many crap deals to sort through that they have added a Featured Deals tab to their daily deals section.  I miss the good old days of only a few gold box deals.

Count down to Black Friday!!

How the F do they know I'm interested in golf, dog treats and tactical flashlights?

LG 55" curved TV for $999.  So you can watch your curved tv while pounding some miller lite vortex bottles I guess.

fixed...and they know because they mine your search history and purchasing history, Tony!

LOL..JK with you. Always appreciate the info you put out there in front for us.

I'm already seeing 50" TCL smart TV's on amazon for $319. How much lower will TV prices fall for BF and CM?

Many of the large tv's I've been tracking on camelcamelcamel are higher than when I first started tracking months ago. What a joke.

Most of the big box store ads aren't  out yet, however Kohls is supposed to have some PS4's, Uncharted 4 bundle for $250 plus you get $75 in Kohls cash.  If you or your wife shop there, $175 for a PS4 sounds pretty cheap.

Best buy, Target, Walmart, Toys r Us, and more still to come.  Ads should be leaked in the next week.

Definitely gonna buy a TV this fall, prolly online as I don't want to go into the store.  I'm debating on 4k vs. a bigger 1080 set. I have a 40", but will go for a 50" 4k or 55+" 1080 set.

Thoughts? Any deals in this zone?

There will be and if you could afford 1k then the LG 55" OLED will be perfect. Otherwise go for a the largest TV you can get that is 4k/HDR

Keeping an eye out for a gaming monitor for my son. Would like to keep it below $200.

Any recommendations? Things I should keep an eye open for on Black Friday?

Kohls has a 49" 4k TV for $249.  I recently threw in a nice LG 4K 43" for my PC and holy crap, I am in love.

not expecting a deal...but my antennas are up for those GD f@cking Hatcnhimal things...grrr need 2 or my children's life will be forever ruined.

Looking for a 32" smart TV to hang over a bar.  Don't care about resolution, just looking for the best deal.  I see them right now for around $150, which is already a great price.  I'd love to steal one, though.

Talk to some high school kid who works the back stockroom at WalMart, I'm you can find one WDGAF and will make sure a TV "falls off the truck"

Samsung 55" LED 4K UHD for $547 last night at Target.  Using wifey's Target red card (5% off) got me out the door for $550 total.

Bedroom TV experience greatly upgraded.  Thx Black Friday!

Small tv's like that are damn near free now. Choose one and go.

I bought the 50" version of this a few months ago. Really nice TV!

I'm really tempted to get this. But I'm a bit concerned that it only has 2 HDMI imputs. I have a chromecast, a PS4 and a PS3, so I'd have to swap console cables.
Also, when does the $279.99 sale price expire?

TIA
They have HDMI splitters that will automatically detect a signal from whichever device is on. I think I splurged and spent $11 but you can find them cheaper, especially this time of year I would imagine.

Doh, true. May just get a splitter then.

I wouldn't think until they sold out.
