They said before launch that headsets for 360's wouldn't be compatible for chat. You'll have to wait until someone releases an adapter.hxperson said:

Not just chat...it doesn't work at all. I think there are workarounds but I have yet to find one for my specific case. If the problem were just chat I woundn't mind at all.

I think that was expected as well. I misread your initial post and just assumed it was just chat. I think Clawyer mentioned that they wouldn't work at all earlier in this thread.

No, but I'm going to try it again tonite. Just read today that you have to set it on stereo - I may have had it on surround. TB's website says its compatible, so there must be a way. will let u know.

7 worked out really well last night. I'm loving this headset so far. It's not as hard as I thought it would be to pick out where people are after a quick glance at the mini map you can have a pretty good idea of what path their taking!
I'm going to rip through batteries with thsi thing arent I?

Why wound this thing NOT work on certain maps? It just cuts out the entire time on Stonehaven. It's the craziest thing.

Played for an hour or two last night.
My first impressions aren't anything that haven't been said. The maps are HUGE, especially for 4v4 games. So far, I really like the look of the maps. What surprised me the most is how well I did. I figured the newb hunters would be out in full force taking down the Christmas recruits, but, after an hour or two game play, my K/D ratio is actually positive (my career k/d is .82 on BLOPS2. Yes, I suck).
I like the squad and point system. If, for nothing else, my boys and I can have our own set ups and they don't have to go in and switch everything on my everytime they play.

For guns I like:
Honey badger as an all around gun
Vector for Freight and the one with the hot dog stand
AK-12 for larger maps
I love the IR scope. The colors in Ghosts are kind of washed out and people love to camp. So the IR scope gives you a nice zoom as well as lights up guys on your screen.
Off the grid is ki d of like Ghost as a perk and a lot of people run that. Incog makes you not illuminate on IR scopes and is popular too.
Focus is a big one of you play standard modes. It can easily mean the difference in a gunfight.
Ready up and QuickDraw are also great since they put you into position to fire first which is critical since you die so quicky.

Oh, and if you run assault streaks, go either IMS/Trinity/BattleHind or Trinity/Battlehind/HeloPilot
For support packages, I usually go SAT and then some combo of ballistic vests (make a huge difference in how fast you die. Basically add 250 health on top of your 100 health), Support guy or Oracle.

Maybe I'm doing it wrong but I've gotten so frustrated with the honey badger. I can't tell you how many times I've gotten the drop on a guy and started unloaded with the HB until to have him turn on me and take me down with 3 bullets.

Fantastic. Only the second game I decided to prestige all the way, this will help.
As far as loadouts Wrigley-
FAD with Grip and silencer- the most accurate gun you'll find IMO. (Exception of Marksman and Snipers)
Dead Silence
Amplfy (not a must IMO, but very helpful) you can hear guys from very far away who are not using DS.
I have to use Marathon, I hate running 10 feet and stopping.
Focus is a must as well- saves you in many gun fights.
Off the grid- a must. Everyone runs Satcoms
Ready up- only one point and I sprint a lot so it is very useful.

Clawyer drops 50 kills a game so you probably would be better off listening to him but I don't think Off the Grid is a must. Just use a silencer and you're mostly fine. OTG is lobby/opponent dependent most of the time.bshell27 said:

I like the FAD a lot and have used it quite a bit but lately I've mostly been using the AK-12 and Remington. I think they're both more accurate and have better damage numbers. The FAD has a higher fire rate and is very manageable with a grip and silencer combo. It also has a pretty big clip so you don't need extended mags on it.

I kind of suck at this too, but man is it fun.
I ran into a guy the other day in team deathmatch that had a riot shield, and just walked around throwing bombs. He was wicked good. He'd hit you from halfway across the map. Must've practiced his technique against bots or something.

I'd def swap focus for agility. Not sure why you'd want agility without marathon anyway.

This game is pissing me off. 5 hit markers with a Honey Badger, and I get killed by 1. And WTF do you aim down the sights faster? You're walking in mud.

At what range? No idea what the second/third sentences even have to do with one another.
I think the 3 shot damage for the HB drops off pretty quickly. Way across the map it's going to take 5-6 shots.

I mean moving faster while ADS. Its slower than ####. And some of theses maps are just awful.

Stalker lets you move faster while ADS.
And yeah, the HB is going to lose most longer range gunfights. It's good short to medium range. It reminds me a lot of the Peacekeeper which was my favorite gun in BO2.
My pick of guns is also partly based on the fact that I play mostly hardcore modes. Even at long distances the HB is a 2-3 hit kill.

Go with the 805 or the 2010 than.
I actually took stalker off of my classes and prefer the "walking in mud"...it helps me aim.

Thanks...took your advice on this and while I was only able to play a handful a games I do think it helped more than hurt me. I don't recall the last time I played a COD without lightweight/Agility as a staple for all my classes, but I am finding for this version at least it might be too costly with all of the other must have perks and just given how quickly you die in this one.
BTW the few rounds I played of the Heavy Duty playlist I pretty much destroyed everyone. It's too bad that isn't the standard health/damage ratio because I would be a better player at this game than I am now. Since I've moved over to Xbone, I'm amazed how guys like Clawyer, Cardfan, et al can regularly get 50+ kills in this game. For me, 50+ kills doesn't happen too often (outside of Strikezone) and I'm quite satisfied when I get over 40. I've also switched most of my classes to Support streaks as I find kill streaks a pain to try to maintain, and Squad Mates and Oracles are pretty beastly.

- Full auto mod (the default 3 round burst usually is good for a kill, full auto just garan-freakin-tees it)
- Under barrel handle (adds stability)
- ACOG site

They never should have nerfed the MSBS. It was fine like it was. As it stands now I don't have much use for it. ROF on full auto is too slow.
