***Official Compass Bowl and FCS Championship Game thread*** (2 Viewers)

99 yd TD pass for Nebraska... Flag on the play though and Nebraska players are trying to move the flag off the field. :lmao: don't think I've ever seen that before.

The Gator Bowl might not be half full. I thought Nebraska traveled well and that's as close as you can get for Georgia fans.
It's the same bowl against the same opponent as last year. Many Husker fans that traveled there last year didn't go there this year.

Aren't they just sick over Pelini not being fired also? I would think they have to be. Husker fans travel in waves even for meaningless conference road games, gotta think that might play a part. Georgia fans have no real excuse. Great opportunity just to travel 100 miles to chant S-E-C!

Most Husker fans I know support Pelini. I think it's just a matter of not wanting to go to the same place and bowl again. This is Jacksonville not Hawaii. Many of those that typically travel went last year and weren't thrilled about going again.

So they are like all other teams and not really the travel anywhere anytime to watch their team?

Having been to Jacksonville a number of time, I agree it sucks. WTF is up with that airport situation?

Not the same bowl
Yep, my bad. Still same basic area - Orlando/Jacksonville. Three years in a row. Right now I'd rather be there. Snowing like a ##### here in nebraska

:lmao:

That's like saying Baltimore and New York are the same basic area.

White just made Clowney look like a clown.

Not impressed with Clowney at all. Looks like he's not even trying.

"Florida" is the same basic area to me. Jacksonville and Orlando are like 2 hours apart.

Mason looked great in the second half too... Way too many drops, but the kid can play.
Yeah, he turned it around a good bit. Just too big a hole to dig out of. Gurley not being 100% was another killer.
If he breaks that tackle on 3rd & 10 they win the game... Nebraska DB mad a great play! It really was night and day in the 2nd half with Mason bc he looked real bad in the 1st half... Both 4th down conversions he hit the guy on the numbers, can't ask for more out of a QB.

Going by the 'Dumps' thread, most here think Florida is a city.

SC's receivers were unbelievable today, good for them. If Stave doesn't get hurt it might be a different game but more than likely not, as the Badger defense wasn't stopping much in the 2nd half.

Just got back from back from Gator Bowl. Was in the Upper deck of Nebraska side. Cool wet and miserable. Mostly had UGA fans around me. Maybe there were a bunch below me but really didn't see too many Nebraska fans. Even where we tailgated it was all UGA fans.

And UGA wasn't too thrilled to be here given Murray's injury. (They're here every year)
