***Official Compass Bowl and FCS Championship Game thread*** (2 Viewers)

Tim, please out yourself as a black-hating Nazi or post some porn spam so we can permaban you already. Seriously, shut up for the love of God.
We? Did FBG hire you?
Maybe it's me wishing this all were being done in a bar somewhere. WE would have probably beat you up by now. So call it wishful thinking.
Probably? By now we would have dropped his carcass off in the middle of nowhere by now. They wouldn't be able to identify him with dental records
You guys give "Be excellent to each other" a whole new meaning.
You think Stanford is better than MSU when they just played about 2.5 hours ago and MSU won the game! You give intelligent conversation a whole new meaning
Whereas your idea of intelligent conversation is beating people up who disagree with you?
Dude! They just played and MSU beat Stanford. There is no disagreement. The two teams played and MSU won. How do you not get that? Help us out here
If you promise not to beat me up, I'll agree that Michigan State was better.

I'll just change my avatar to Galileo...

Goodness. I hope Briles doesn't bring his defensive coordinator along when he moves down I-35 to Texas.

I think there should be a playoff between the two highest scoring bowl teams. That means the winner of this game vs. Texas A & M.

The two teams that beat OU got/getting #####-slapped in their bowl games. I'm not really looking forward to tomorrow night.

Stadium is at best half full. Ucf could win and be stuck with a major bill at the end of this.
Fiesta pays out $17 million per team. I understand you may have to share with the rest of the conference, but still.

Baylor isn't exactly the greatest team ever, but this result is still pretty stunning. It's not every day you see a 17-point favorite lose by basically that same amount.

With this result, I have a very good chance now to be competitive in the FBG College Football Pick'Em contest. If I end up winning, I'm going to come back here and laugh at all of you who think I know nothing about college football.

You are obligated to provide a certain amount of the gate or they take it out of your cut. They can pull back a max of 5mm I believe.
If schools have to eat that much money anyway, you'd think they would buy a bunch and have giveaways just get their fans in the seats.

Secretaries win office football pools all the time. Did you like UCF's uniforms better than Baylor's?

Didn't they return something like 10,000 tickets?
I honestly don't know. That's kind of a surprise. How far is Tempe from Waco? A lot of people are picking up tickets on the secondary market versus going through the school. Not sure how that affects the $17 mil though.

ETA: Looked it up. It's a long drive, but still.

This laughing you speak of doesn't sound like intelligent conversation to me.

UCF returned the 10k. Baylor isn't big enough to make up that many. It's total enrollment is only 15K. UCF's is 50k. Make that 60k, 50k is the undergrad enrollment.

All those Texas dopes who loved Briles for all the great things he's done at Baylor, who now hate him because of one game, are hilarious. Poooooooooooooooooooooooooor Texas. Pass on Briles, do it. :bye:

Yep. I got completely turned around on that one. WDIK?

Fudged resume aside, I think ND would have been OK with O'Leary.

Who had the bright idea to overlap the Cotton and Orange Bowl times on Friday? That sucks.

Only six CFB games left, sigh.

I don't think many people realize how big a school UCF is.They have some good programs there too.

Athletically, if O'Leary keeps the football team winning they really could become a threat down the road to the idea of a "Big 3" in Florida
