I felt shrugging off Mexico was a show of strength/belief in LL in the US.
Now going to the UK paints Mexico as another failure by CYDY.
Still holding out until results, but really considering decreasing my position if it ever gets back to $6.

Not lol, hallelujah! We are waiting for all the ts to be crossed and is dotted. Any really good news would be welcome. I don’t care about the days of yore and the talk of 20s and 30s. I just want high single digits again. Anything above that is gravy.

In my mind, it just highlights how much money and power big pharma has in our government. It isn't about helping people to them, it is about making as big a profit as possible and controlling things.
This is, IMO, one of the biggest issues facing the country because the people who are supposed to be solving it are making money off it.

If, by chance, this does get approved overseas and it is shown to actually work and saves some lives... imagine the storm this administration would face trying to explain why they ignored some of these therapeutic drugs because they are bound by the deals they made with big pharma and their crappy drugs. Bought up all the hydroxichloriquin... using tax payers money to stockpiled Gilead's drug because there was financial gain from lobbyists.

Unfortunately, it seems like a pipe dream to assume anything would change. I would love to see it, but they slime their way out of everything and the media just keeps quiet on the things they should be shouting from the rooftops (looking at you, Epstein co-conspirators)

I wonder if the phase 2 results are fairly good (better than REM), and they are worried that the FDA will only grant them a phase 3. This is definitely a good way to put pressure on the FDA.

Then the BP, CYDY, LL peeps hit her so hard that she seems to have actually looked up CYDY, prompting the follow-up tweet.
We say that we aren't well known, but hardly a MAB discussion goes by without the LL army mentioning LL in spades. I see it all over the internet. We get more play than many, many MABs.
And yet, we can't get out of a hole. I don't like conspiracy theories, but I believe something/someone may be working against us. The drug is safe and may save lives. Give it to people in need and let's see if it works.
On the other hand, we are a $2.5 billion with no revenues. Maybe we are where we should be.

I’m sure NP is trying to turn up the heat but I’m not convinced the government is concerned. I do think trump is desperate though so I would really be shocked if this thing heads overseas without approval here.

Trump is running out of time. If LL is going to help him, he's going to need 10,000s doses administered soon if he's going to influence the election in his favor. That's not looking likely. And if LL can't help him get reelected, I'm not sure he GAF. But others do; what can they influence?

US Government is like a pot committed gambler or undisciplined stock trader on the wrong side of a trade right now. We're so pot committed on Hydroxychoroquine and Remdisivir that we're just doubling down over and over again hoping some miracle will happen rather than cutting our losses and moving on to something else. I have little confidence that will change in the near term.

Honestly this press release about the UK, while overall positive, this can also go into the smoke and mirrors category if you are skeptical. Its just another way to get CYDY in the conversation during the downtime but its virtually meaningless if the data from this trial is not good.
We have no idea, just like Mexico, if this will actually go anywhere. I hate to be negative as Im heavily invested in this but Cytodyn has been good at announcements that don't mean anything until we have data.

It's a company where anyone advocating for it is financially invested. BP, Jonah Sacha, Dr. Yo, (unsure of Drbeen), NP, Dr. L, etc...and that includes all of us.
We've received safety results, which are good and are better than most are acknowledging, but in terms of efficacy it's all anecdotal (from invested folks) or just some initial "I promise results are good" from NP, who has said things were gonna happen in the past which didn't happen, so his credibility is very slim.
So yeah, all in all we have a company with promising studies, but few results that can help folks have confidence that the drug is for real and not just being promoted by folks with a vested interest.

I'm a bit on the Capella train here though. We have a drug that might be helpful with an outstanding safety record. People are dying, no different than folks with "terminal" cancer who are down to last resorts. LL qualifies. Trials can continue, but seems to me that someone should package a thousand vials of the stuff, get on a plane to a country with more lax regulations, and find a testable population to see if this stuff works.
I'll sell all my CYDY at my current loss if this means we can go back to some normalcy. I'd like to take a vacation, see my kids in school, go to work in person...
Maybe it's not a miracle drug, but we're not taking the most expeditious route to finding out, and COVID is a raging freight train hitting us disproportionately harder than much of the developed world. Not even close really.

Yeah, same dude. How he wound up CEO of this company remains a mystery, but I stand firmly that it was not on merit. I think he had access to some deep pockets very close to him.

It was a nothing company for a quite a while, he pushed to buy leronlimab (or Pro-140 or whatever it was). Since then, it's been him doing tons of fundraising, and trying to get it to market. He seems to have been reasonably successful raising money, which is a key thing for a CEO. So he seems to have been a reasonably good fit for a CEO with a drug that has potential, but no real results, who took it from that to some promisiing results, and then all of a sudden Covid comes and it seems like it might work, and he's completely out of his depth navigating the huge ocean when he had been in streams and small rivers before.

What I like best about the PR is that they are committing themselves to have the top-line report on the Phase 2 ready and submitted next week.
"COVID-19 Phase 2 topline report to be submitted for consideration of emergency approval of leronlimab for patients with mild-to-moderate symptoms to U.K. and other countries following submission to the U.S. FDA next week"
Regarding the UK they threw us this possibility out before and it went nowhere. remember the BOJO rumors re LL. NP mentioned later that they had run into UK regulatory issues.
If they think they have good results then makes sense to go to UK and open another market for covid and HIV. If they get FDA approval I think Mexico approval follows without need for a study.
The thing about CYDY is that they have so many balloons in the air and limited staff, have to focus and grab one.

This is definitely the bull side of that press release. Also with that proactive video yesterday, was happy to see Dr L in the video and not just NP. At the end of the day Dr L is on the payroll too but still more reassuring to see him making comments.

Without money you go nowhere. Without a vision you cant raise money. He has performed in those areas. The impression is that he's been learning on the job for much of the rest. Hopeful the advisory board can provide stability and guidance.

I would say so based on the information presented. Seems to coincide in how he publicly speaks regarding the mission to help and doing good.
