If this drug is any good, things are lining up for Cytodyn.

It still seems like a worthwhile speculative play, even though there are so many mixed signals.

It will make Construxboy happy that we should only be investing longterm what we are comfortable losing.  If you can't handle losing,  this is not the stock for you.

On one side we have science that is going to dictate the outcome.  Its still unclear but there are signs that point to this drug being effective.  Expert doctors on board and getting published too.  

On the other side we have a showman at the helm that can't entirely be trusted.  

If the drug is effective, we don't need to be sold a bill of goods.  This is the big red flag that is out there and it all comes back to Nader.  He at the very least exaggerates and that's being nice about it.

Other factors is that we have a need that is not currently being solved by any drug in the market.  If leronlimab can help to prevent mortality, than it seems like a lock to be approved.  Competition from big pharma is dropping out, they can't fill it.   

If not for Nader, I would put more into it long term, perhaps I should be glad he keeps me in check.

 
Still a lot of upside on this one.  I know its obvious but it just comes down to whether or not the drug is effective.

More signs point to it being effective than not IMO.

If its effective, I don't see how this doesn't get approved eventually.

They're going to need their trial results to speak for them.  Results should come soon.  Their phase III trial enrollment slowed but it could conclude at any time.  They have said that they'll have top line results by Dec 31, 2020.  Their Big Effect trial has started enrollment and could enroll super quickly since it is being done with Big Pharma.  So those results shouldn't come much later than the phase III results.

Im invested equal right now for HGEN and CYDY, hoping both are ultimately approved but at least to go 1/2 here

It's more appropriate here.  The last thing the stock thread people want to read about are the specifics of the anti-Covid biotech realm.  And all CYDY investors should be paying attention to their competition.

🤞.  In the past the not so good news or nothing news came on Friday after close.  This being a Thursday one could surmise that they have news the want to get out so it can pop on Friday.  Hope so.  

 
I don't see any bad news coming on Thursday.  I agree that Patterson could be published.

We may get some updates on how they are doing with filling the phase 3 trial and perhaps an update on the BLA in the UK

All in all, its either going to be a non news day or a slightly positive one but nothing overtly negative IMO

I'd say its a pretty big vote of confidence if a Director is investing $500,000 of own money into company.  If he feels good about it, the general public should feel good about it too.

Same guy bought 120,000 shares two weeks ago as well.

 
It seems like a layup that five years from now, anybody with flu-like symptoms bad enough to send them to the ER will get leronlimab while the tests come back.

Seems like.

Or it's a last ditch effort to build confidence in an investor group that is small and watches this companies every move.

 
I'm impressed that CYDY stock price has held up as well as it has.  I thought it would hit $2.00.  $2.73 isn't bad considering how much negativity has surrounded the stock over the last couple of months.

 
Anyone want to guess which journal publishes Dr Patterson?  NEJM?  Nature (right, Dr Yo?)?  Journal of Irreproducible Results?

Ill go with Nature since Dr Yo flashed that one back in early May but who knows

Also is there any doubt that it was Patterson that told him he was going to be published in early May.   Would like to get the full story on what happened there

Don - You know I like your finds, but this one is a yawn.  They and most companies have these on a regular basis.

 
Right now is a pretty good time to sell CYDY.  The stock goes down now when there isn't good news during a presentation.  No news equals losing halfaNader in Friday's open.

Why assume bad news?  Wouldn’t if that was the case have them doing a Friday call instead?

Same question though.  One would think if it was no news they’d wait.  It feels deliberate to me to do this with the market open to react tomorrow.  

Now this is NP so all bets are off, and forced to make a bet I would bet on no news. But I still stand by my optimism.  

 
Dr Seethmranju leading the Covid 19 focused team.  There will be other high profile doctors administering leronlimab to patients that they can name eventually but not ready to do that yet
