Pays to be in big Pharma.
It does. I don’t recall that being one of the ones we were really paying attention to before. I’m actually surprised that HGEN isn’t down more on the news as well. It’s did go down a ton so I guess a bounce will happen.

I’m surprised Regeneron’s antibody treatment hasn’t been approved. No idea where it is in the trials but after Trump took it, figured it was a shoe in. Maybe the FDA wasn’t really in bed with Trump seeing as how they actually did delay the vaccine announcement.

HGEN had a bigger drop  yesterday, will see if HGEN can hold their gains today.  HGEN definitely a leg up with the government backing and also trialing with Remdesivir, still not convinced the drug is as good though

Trialing with Remdesivir might be more of a negative now considering the results from other countries/WHO, which I’d say a Biden admin would put more faith in than Trump.

Assuming it was an option, Nader should have done a buyout for covid production.
I got yelled at for saying I would welcome a $9 buyout way back when because it would limit the gains of Chet and others. I should have put a limit order in for $9 right then, it was a good goal that I set but didn’t follow through on, SMH.

Nah Remdesivir in the mix and HGEN could even bolster it.
Was Remdesivir more of a push from the Trump admin? Seems like outside the US, it’s not considered a quality treatment. Biden isn’t far away and some might say the FDA delayed a little on the vaccine. They even mentioned a reason for delay as soon as the news came out. Not so sure that Remdesivir is a good thing to be tied to now. I could be wrong but I’d rather be solo.

What were the reasons you sold?
Nader and the constant deadline missing/nothing happening. I mean the up listing is off the table and that was huge. It’s not difficult to do for a company worth multiple billions. I sold most of my shares at @ $6.50 and @ $5.10. I was holding a little just in case and then I realized I was tired of watching every day.

Bolding the  "assuming".  Who knows.

I will say this if Nader didn't want to partner than he is an even bigger idiot than i thought (possible)
Well he did mention something about it a few times on a call. He seems to be a serial liar though so who knows.

Finally unloaded this turd today, wished I had yesterday.  Anyway didn't get in quite as early as some of you so lost a few hundred.  Not big in the grand scheme of things just glad to be rid of this mess.

I hear dead cats bounce
Yeah--but virtually every stock bounces at some point. The problem with this stock is even if you buy it and it bounces--you still don't feel comfortable holding it.  I get that you are a stock flipper--but I don't think that most of the people in this forum are buying a stock today to sell it tomorrow.    Some fundamental changes will have to occur in CYDY's management and transparency for anybody to really feel comfortable holding it for any decent amount of time--no matter what the stock price is.

I definitely don't disagree with you that Remdesivir is suspect.

I sold out of half of my position when it bounced to just under 2 just now.  Tried to set a stop loss yesterday at 2 but Fidelity wouldn’t let me for some reason.  Either way locked in a few thousand in profit and will hold on to the rest (all at $.29) to see what happens with HIV and Cancer.   Thanks @chet, my first ever stock buy was quite a ride (and profitable which is nice, lol)!

@chet, is Cytodyn a lost cause at this point or can they turn it around?

Any idea on why the US govt has shown no indication of wanting to work with them?  I feel like if I knew this, it would answer a lot of my concerns

Glad to see that Patterson is published. Seeing that its based on the anecdotal data from six months ago, feel like it would have had a bigger impact back then.  A lot has happened since.

I dont know that language like this is all that helpful at this point:

"While the current study design precludes clinical efficacy inferences, these results implicate CCR5 as a therapeutic target for COVID-19 and form the basis for ongoing randomized clinical trials."

CYDY = $2.55

CYDY has more lives than Doctor Who.  It probably helps that a large percentage of its investors are conspiracy theorists.  All of their anti-vaxxer investors won't accept Pfizer's vaccine as bad news.  They get some crappy loan with bad terms and their stock pops right back to where it had been.  I love this stock.  Today gives me faith that this stock has a long life left of rises and falls that can be profited from.

Haha, I know.  Call me crazy but I wanted to get back to a core position to hold, I'm at the number that I wanted to be at.

Any other buys going forward will definitely be to trade and I may still unload part of this and start over again.  Its not like I don't know that this is likely short lived and will be choppy soon.

Is this with the same loan shark company?
10% interest. I wonder if Nader did the deal with a $10 per share conversion to prop up the price. We’ve seen how concerned he’s been with share price mentioning stuff like shorts. They might not have even cared about conversion because when the price is around $2, a conversion at $10 is almost meaningless, you’ll just want to get the loan paid back.

Crazy like a fox.  Will see you at the finish line

Edit, i think its dumb like a fox, yikes
It's at $2.42 right now.  It's going to go to $2.25 (i.e. lose a Nader) before it goes to $2.59 (i.e. gain a Nader).  But Nader isn't going to be at fault for the drop.  The Pfizer news is horrible for CYDY (but great for humanity).  It isn't baked in, yet.
