I thought Lumen would want to torture Chase a bit before killing him...I was hoping she would stab him in the thigh and twist the knife in there a bit...then maybe chop off a toe or two...something...ANYTHING to make him suffer like he made those girls suffer...
Also, theres NO CHANCE IN HELL Deb thinks Dex has ANYTHING to do with anything. A few in this thread were discussing the possibility that she may suspect Dex because of what she said to Dexter "Glad this is all over" or whatever it was...she was just happy the Quinn was off the hook, that she "solved" the barrel girls case and that Chase got what was coming to him.
No chance? Watch the end again. She doesn't say
she's glad this is all over, she specifically says that Dexter must be happy "now that it's all over." Dexter was only peripherally involved in the case. She knows that a) The ones wiping out the rapists were victim #13 and a vigilante boyfriend/husband, etc.
b) Dexter suddenly has a "boarder" who fits the description of all the other victims, and then disappears after all the rapists are dead
c) Quinn was suspended "to protect Dexter"
d) Robocop signed out all his surveillance equipment under Quinn's name
e) Robocop is now dead and Quinn won't tell her anything except that he didn't kill Robo
They left it intentionally ambiguous but to say there's no chance in hell? Not so sure about that. She could know and not say anything because not only is Dexter her brother, but she found the whole vigilante killing spree romantic and just. Also, in the books, she knows - so it's more than likely that's going to flesh out on screen at some point, this could be the embryonic stage of that storyline's development.
