I miss that season.Just finished Season 4...wow!

Not really. It's taken a turn for the really strange. Also the formula is getting a bit stale. A lot of us saw the "twist" coming from the very beginning.Just finished Season 5. It was ok, but my least favorite season so far. (4,2,1,3,5)Is Season 6 better?
Both really. The final scene was foreshadowed at the end of Season 5.Which twist, the final scene or the one revealed with 5 weeks left in season 6?
Well we knew at somepoint she would find out...Both really. The final scene was foreshadowed at the end of Season 5.Which twist, the final scene or the one revealed with 5 weeks left in season 6?
I'm ready for this series to end.
Really liked this early on, and with most great shows you leave the series finale WANTING more, I am at the point where it needs to end respectfully.I think they are signed on for a S7 obv and a S8? did i read that right?i've read each of the books but the last one. she finds out, although not as directly, in those stories as well.Well we knew at somepoint she would find out...
i believe that to be trueI think they are signed on for a S7 obv and a S8? did i read that right?
Yea, that's what I mean, normally I would be THRILLED I have 2 more seasons if not more of a show i really like, but I am almost dreading watching how they are gonna wrap this up.We'll see hopefully they grab me in like ol' times.i believe that to be trueI think they are signed on for a S7 obv and a S8? did i read that right?
Whoa! Dexter is based off of a book series?!? Where the hell have I been?i've read each of the books but the last one. she finds out, although not as directly, in those stories as well.Well we knew at somepoint she would find out...
Yeah I think it was better. Not by huge leaps but a stronger season. The first four seasons were amazing, though. I still like the show a lot but it hasn't been anywhere near that good the last two seasons.Just finished Season 5. It was ok, but my least favorite season so far. (4,2,1,3,5)Is Season 6 better?
Oh god, if you're gonna get worked up over plot holes this small, especially regarding Deb, this might not be the show for you. They get much, much, much worse as the seasons go on.Never was a big fan of the Debra Morgan character from the start, but there's a major plot hole that didn't sit well with me.
"Pardon my t#ts" is my favorite line of dialogue in the last decade.I know Lila is destined for an underwater grave at this point, which is a shame because she was SMOKING HOT.
I guess it's not really a plot hole...more like a character flaw. I tend to find small #### in movies and show that drive me bonkers. And agreed on the "pardon my t#ts" line.Oh god, if you're gonna get worked up over plot holes this small, especially regarding Deb, this might not be the show for you. But not really looking forward to future seasons based on what you're telling me.
If you can stand Julia Stiles, watch through her season, it's pretty good. But the best was John Lithgow, if you don't think you can stand Julia stop there.Ok, based on what I'm reading, this show is another Weeds: a series that should have died a long time ago. What point should I stop watching so I can have a favorable taste in my mouth over this show?
Lithgow = good. Stiles = meh. We'll see. Thanks for the advice, though. Looks like I have at least two seasons to watch still before it gets stupid. If you can stand Julia Stiles, watch through her season, it's pretty good. I'm still trying to figure out how that would even be considered a plot hole.Oh god, if you're gonna get worked up over plot holes this small, especially regarding Deb, this might not be the show for you. never mind, should have kept reading.Sarnoff is right though, things get pretty ridiculous. lots of holes.I guess it's not really a plot hole...more like a character flaw.
Hard to say without seeing how the remaining seasons play out. But the first four seasons are magnificent; fourth season in particular is amazing. John Lithgow is sensational and the finale ... well ... let's just say it's quite memorable. Seasons 5 and 6 have paled in comparison to the first four. We'll see how Season 7 goes. Their panel at Comic Con is being live Tweeted right now for those who may be interested.Ok, based on what I'm reading, this show is another Weeds: a series that should have died a long time ago. What point should I stop watching so I can have a favorable taste in my mouth over this show?

Yeah, wrong choice of words. "Inconsistency" would be an even better term.I'm still trying to figure out how that would even be considered a plot hole.Oh god, if you're gonna get worked up over plot holes this small, especially regarding Deb, this might not be the show for you. (on the inside)They tricked you with the normal "everything is okay and the episode is ending" music when he's on the boat disposing of Trinity.Just saw the episode where Rita died in the bathtub. :((on the inside)
Yup, and there wasn't anything that Trinity did that really said "I just killed someone". Except maybe that he was giddy while driving the convertible? They tricked you with the normal "everything is okay and the episode is ending" music when he's on the boat disposing of Trinity.Just saw the episode where Rita died in the bathtub. :((on the inside)
I say it every time I have to maneuver around my wife in any kind of cramped space. EVERY time."Pardon my t#ts" is my favorite line of dialogue in the last decade.I know Lila is destined for an underwater grave at this point, which is a shame because she was SMOKING HOT.
Just finished up Season 6 and, while I liked Mos Def's character, I felt something was missing with that season compared to the others. Thought it ended VERY nicely, though.Haven't watched any of Season 7 yet, but very interested once the DVDs come out.Ok... we re-upped with Showtime, and despite being previously "over" the show, started watching Season 6 this week. We're 4 episodes in, and I'm finding Mos Def to be fantastic. The hammer to the face obvious side-by-side faith component of the season is... well... obvious. More subtlety would have been nice- but a show abuot the serial killing of serial killers was never really subtle to begin with. Hanks JR looks eerily too much like dad (and is over-acting far too much) but it's great to have Odama back. Especially in sweater vests and cardigans.Maybe it was a good thing to take a break from the show- I'm now enjoying it for the same things that I know had previously reached a point where it had become very tired to me.

Ah, ok. I saw something on the Dexter Facebook page a while back and I thought it had started.Maybe I should get Showtime now. They need another "plausible" scape-goat for Dexter when Laguarda closes in on him. Again. It was good - I'm interested to see how this plays out w/ Deb. Not sure why they need the Russian mob in this, though (another "season-long super case"?)
Nope, one more.from Wikipedia:Is this the last season? I think they need to wrap this up.
Executive producer Sara Colleton confirmed that Season 8 will be the show's last season and they already know how the show is going to end.

That filthy mouth is hot.Decent start.Gonna be a long season for all you crazy Deb-haters though. Obviously, there's going to be a lot of emotionally conflicted foul-mouthing this year.I don't think I'd be watching this show anymore if not for her, but I know not everyone is much of a fan.
