Dez Bryant On Lockette Injury: "That's What You ####### Get"

Class Act.
Desiree talking tough after doing nothing all game about a player that was down for 10+ minutes with what could have been a serious spine/neck/head injury......she has really come a long way.

I hope you have a reliable source if you're going to put it out there. Where is this coming from?
It's all over twitter. And there's video of it.
Dez Bryant went on a profanity-laced tirade in the Cowboys locker room in response to a Vine video that allegedly showed him making derogatory remarks about Ricardo Lockette, who had been knocked unconscious. 'Not once did I say that's what you get'

Oh ok he must not have said it if he threw a tirade in the locker room about it then. It wasn't his scheduled tirade-week for him so has to be innocent.

Either way, if he did say it it's pretty bad and its being talked about everywhere so I think it's relevant to at least bring up.

I don't know what's in the hearts of strangers, but I do know I'm never surprised when I see others that want to see evil in the hearts of strangers.

You know it's bad when EAGLE fans are talking about someone being classless
I'm not starting a war with cowboy fans, or going there. I'm saying that there are reports he said that... and if he did, it is classless.... do you agree?
If anyone knows what classless looks like, it would be Eagles fans. So I'll take your word for it!
That was very clever. Thank you so much for your insight.

Again, I'm not starting any fan vs fan stuff, and never went there. I just mentioned that if what everyone said he said is true, then that is very classless. The guy hasn't exactly screamed class over his career, and has had some pretty dicey incidents. So no, I don't think Dez is a Class Act. How you perceive how "eagles fans" are, isn't relevant to Dez's issues.

Just busting your balls. Dez is an idiot. Always has been. Terrific at football, but pretty much a worthless human being otherwise.

ok i dont give a crap about dez the human being... only the football player.... was he running ok today? i know cassel is awful but curious what the impressions where of how dez looked running routes... will have to checkout the all 22 gamepass tomorrow

Thanks jesus for this post. Now I just hope someone answers with actual football words.

That's great good for you!

I was impressed/surprised how hard he cut on his only reception that resulted in positive yardage. There were two deep balls down the left side, but Sherman was in perfect position on both plays. Dez made a solid effort to make sure they weren't intercepted. I never saw him limp or move in any way that made it look like he was limited.

I thought he looked pretty good, but I did see a bit of a hitch in his step once while he was walking along the sideline.

Dez was talking to the officials the whole time never said anything about lock
Was waiting for this specific person to comment on the situation when I mentioned CREDIBLE source above.

Hear's the problem I have with things like twitter and the internet in general. Stupid gets amplified and broadcast as truth. I guess that's not really the problem as much as it is people aren't willing to question the validity of stories. People either won't or can't turn on their BS-ometers. Perhaps some people have a need to vilify players to make themselves feel better about themselves. Making matters worse I'm confident that a year from now some idiot will repeat this specific story about Dez with a "remember when Dez..." as if it were true. And of course another idiot will parrot that story, and so on...

Moments like this make me shake my head and wonder how long it will be until I just separate myself away from the bulk of society to avoid the morons.

Agreed.

The internet, everyone has a voice. But not everyone should be listened to.

This...he looked fine to me. If he was hampered at all, I didn't see it. His issue this game was 100% Sherman and Cassell. One of them goes away next week, the other likely doesn't. He's a start-with-confidence WR from here on out IMO, with tempered expectations simply due to his QB until Romo comes back.

He looked good, but Cassell is so bad that I won't be starting him until Romo comes back in three weeks.

You must have some pretty good WR's then...I agree Cassell/Cowboys QB's not named Romo are awful, but an elite WR usually demands enough targets to make him at least startable.

I have to give it up to Dez. I didn't think he'd hold it together. I thought it'd be off-field issues, and he'd never reach the potential. As a principle, I avoid the head cases, so I miss out on guys like this. And his red flags seemed pretty bad to me. And going to the Dallas organization seemed like bad news for a guy with some issues.

It might be exactly the opposite, and Dez may very well be in the best situation to avoid trouble.

In another city, he might wear his welcome out, but I have a tough time seeing Dez get in trouble in Dallas. Yeah, yeah, Dallas cops probably aren't looking to bust Dez, far from it. But it's more than that. I think Dallas fans are probably more protective of Dez than your average bad boy. You just get the feeling Dez has 6 million guardian angels in DFW area. Because Dez doesn't seem like a bad person. They way TO did. It was clear from the moment we all got to know TO that he was an awful little person. I could Texas mommas wanting to look after him. Texas daddies commenting, "He ain't a bad sort, just got a little wild colt in him" :spits-tobacco:

I imagine Dez in a Dallas club, and I can picture people perking up, complete strangers, looking around like Secret Service, taking it all in. Ready to jump in front of a thrown cocktail without hesitation.

Dallas might not be the place for him to become the world's most mature adult, but he's a in a place that will forgive lots of little transgressions.

It's difficult to dislike Dez, he clearly cares more about football than anything else, that's tough for me to dislike.

I don't believe TO ever ran afoul of the law, did he? Now Adrian Peterson. That's a bad person. Ray Lewis was a bad person. Greg Hardy is a bad person. But I don't think TO was.

I know no one is giving him away but Thoughts on if he is a cheap elite buy? I know a lot depends on romo coming back but when that happens thoughts on his numbers?

If you wanted Dez you shoulda traded for him when he got hurt, not now. He is not a cheap elite buy cause nobody with more than 2 bran cells would sell him cheap

Yes but Is he worth paying an elite price for? Health wise and price paying a Edelman/cooper/Fitz ish tier price and expect brown, Julio, Hopkins production in a few weeks would be cheapish production

Edelman and Cooper are light years apart in trade value, so I am not even sure where you are going here.

At what point do you start putting Dez back in your line up over the likes of upper tier 2 guys? Diggs, Snead, Landry, Stevie Johnson, etc...

I'm feeling like I need to see him produce with Cassel first.

I'm starting Snead over him in a redraft after seeing that the Titans are without two of their top CBs.

Great game last night. How do you think he'll be rest of season if they are out of playoff contention? Will Romo and Dez still go all out despite their injuries and having no shot at the playoffs or do you think they'll pack it in?

I think so. Nothing in their history has shown me otherwise. Garrett has to be feeling his seat getting warm. I think they go for a strong finish. This isn't the Browns or Lions. This is the Dallas ####### Cowboys.

Based on the rest of the division, they won't be out of the playoffs until Week 16.
