Official Dez Bryant (3 Viewers)

Great game last night. How do you think he'll be rest of season if they are out of playoff contention? Will Romo and Dez still go all out despite their injuries and having no shot at the playoffs or do you think they'll pack it in?
I think so. Nothing in their history has shown me otherwise. Garrett has to be feeling his seat getting warm. I think they go for a strong finish. This isn't the Browns or Lions. This is the Dallas ####### Cowboys.
I doubt it Garret's in trouble - outside the Pats game, they've been in every game. They don't look 'THAT' bad, just average. Given they lost their starting QB and star WR for as long as they did, he'll be ok.

Looks like he tweaked his knee on the td catch. It looked like he was being attended to by medical staff after that play so I was worried it was his foot. He obviously came back in and finished the game. I guess I'll start to freak out if he is a dnp tomorrow. :)

The way he landed, straight-legged, it looked like he could have hyperextended it. That was my first thought when I saw a replay of the catch.

He's lucky he did not get mangled on that play. That could have been really ugly. Thankfully, it seems he escaped mostly unscathed.

M.T has Dez ranked as the 67th best play at wr/rb/te this week in ppr. WTF am I missing here? Is he injured or is this just a sign that M.T is copying and pasting his rankings from last week.

Unless he is injured, you would have to think that Dez is back, right?

Sounds like he got banged up towards the end, but kept playing. Agree that 67 seems really low unless he is really is injured.

Well..he has McFadden at #1, but it still; doesn't add up because he has Cassel at 220 yards and all of the receivers and rbs together project to around 170. Maybe he is hurt. I guess we will find out soon.

From Rotoworld:

Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said Dez Bryant (foot) should be "fine" after landing awkwardly during a touchdown catch against the Eagles Sunday night.
Bryant appeared to hurt himself after jumping over several defenders for a touchdown in the fourth quarter, but he played the rest of the game. He could be limited some in practice this week, but Bryant is fully expected to play. He will be a back-end WR1 against the Bucs' terrible secondary.

FBG slammed him in the rankings this week, not sure that makes sense.
I'm trying to get my head wrapped around this as well. Just playing devil's advocate but most of his points came from two big plays...one of them classic Dez turn and barrel down the field for 50 yards after catch. The other was a kind of flukey hail mary. So maybe there's still the feeling that he's still getting up to speed and without Romo, not quite "there" yet.

http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2015/11/11/sore-knee-keeps-dez-bryant-out-of-practice/

Wide receiver Dez Bryant is not practicing on Wednesday because of a sore left knee. Todd Archer of ESPNDallas.com reports that Bryant hurt his knee while making a jumping touchdown catch over defenders and one of his teammates against the Eagles last Sunday night.

Bryant, who missed five games after breaking a bone in his foot in the season opener, didn’t leave the game after the catch and Archer reports the team expects Bryant will be able to play against the Buccaneers this weekend.

So Dez goes crazy because a black reporter called Devin Street the N word. According to him. And Street, I guess?

No other witnesses confirm this. Someone tweets about the tirade, Dez sees the tweet mid-rant, then goes on another rant about that.

1. I don't know if the guy said it,I don't know the rules about one black guy saying it to another, and won't make any call here, being a white guy from Massachusetts and all.

2. I think Dez reading that tweet mid rant, and going off again is hilarious.

3. On my personal list of people that shouldn't go on Twitter, Dez is right up at the top. Twitter can be pretty awful, there's nothing good on there for you, Dez. Stick to Instagram.

Rotoworld:

Speaking Monday, Panthers coach Ron Rivera said RCB Josh Norman will "probably" shadow Dez Bryant on Thanksgiving.

Norman has been arguably the league's best cornerback this season, and will be a monster test for Bryant. Norman rarely covers the slot, so perhaps Bryant will see more routes there. Regardless of the cornerback covering him, Bryant is a WR1.

He's going to blow up tomorrow.

As in, another temper tantrum after Norman blankets him and Romo throws elsewhere.

I'm starting Rawls, Doug Martin, Yeldon, Antonio Brown, and Demaryius and keeping Stewart, Ware, and Dez on the bench.

Definitely sucks but if you held him through his injury...at least he's playing now. Won't be the top flight elite WR he could have been in a few more games with Romo back but at least a RB2 with upside.
