I would like to know more
Have only read about 115 pages of this train-wreck over the past couple of days and if the numbers average out I am two years late in deciding to spend any time here in the future. #### it, #### you, and #### me. Been around a long time and never really decided I have much I want to add to the entire disfunctional mess that this board presents day to day. So much garbage, so much knowledge, and so perfect for a person who gets along with just about everyone while rarely connecting on a personal level. Get along to get along, but my wife could tell you in a heartbeat the amount of useful knowledge I have pulled off this board in the past 10 years.
This is another family to me in some ways and is just as good as most of the friends I have made over the last 25 years. I don't do close due to a whole bunch of psych. babble and I could (and would) share all of that, but I have already become long-winded without saying a useful thing...
Drinking again while catching up on all of you crazy #######s and I have the advantage of bumping this thread after most of you have shut down on your worst day. Sucks for me because I get to talk to myself until I am sitting at my desk the next day looking back at anything that I typed. Not too sure what the benefit to you is yet, but at least this thread will be on the first page or two when you stumble in (spellcheck is making me feel really stupid and is drawing out this post to the point that I may get company soon, which would be very bad news).

I am currently in Bahrain (yeah, the place in the Middle East) and trying not to finger-#### my keyboard too much. Enjoying my drinks tonight while hoping I can maintain my ration enough to cover many nights of posts in the future.
Lacking the proper influence here because this took an hour to write and the time not drinking let me fix many of my errors.
Tonight was a 1.75 bottle of Jose pre-mixed Marg. on the rocks since the alcohol content keeps that bottle at only a single point (only 20 allowed for the month).
Questions welcome, been here for almost 8 months and have half a year before I make it back to the US. Thanks for listening.

There's about 10 of us who do this on a regular basis. Don't sweat the small stuff. Pretty sure there are no grammar nazis in the drunk threadWelcome and don't be a stranger. 
Twas my fiancees birthday today, and my best man's wife threw her a wedding shower. So while that was going on, we brewed an IPA and drank another batch of his home brew. Then we met at my parents house and had a few hundred more beers and then went to get Mexican for dinner. I'm probably 15 beers deep on top of a few margaritas. Sunday funday was back in effect with a 78 degree day. You just can't buy fun times like this

Not planning on hitting it too hard tonight as I have a project coming due and I slacked on it today while nursing the previous damage done. Was going to skip the drink entirely, but we managed to get ourselves bumped from the current season softball playoffs earlier than expected. Late game tonight and we brought the gear bag containing the pop-up bats apparently. Got crushed by the Coast Guard team. I hate losing as much (often more) as the next person, but playing with a couple of dickmittens that lash out at everything and everyone when things are not going as expected boils my blood. When you are getting crushed by 10 runs, talking #### to the other team just seems pathetic. Trash talk, cool...talking about how if the stars had aligned in any other way than they currently were things would be completely different (paraphrased) and being an ####### in general is a horse of a different color. Grow the #### up. We are a team of 30 and 40 year-olds (not to mention a group expected to be setting the example for all of the military enlisted)...lose the schoolyard attitude, no one really cares or needs to know that you have a two inch penis.

Hitting the hour when it is time to pour another glass or get my rear into bed. Glass is currently full so it is not looking good for going with the smart decision.
Finished the last 30 pages of this thread while just doing enough to earn my paycheck today and my observations were confirmed...the great migration has hindered the brilliance once contained here. GMTAN is awesome and I lurk there all the time, but I rarely post and realize that most of my posting is done under the haze of a good serving of booze. This seems like the right outlet for moving from looking to talking.
I have to say thank you to both this thread and GM's masterpiece...I have been pointed to ar:e:as that I have not ventured into previously. Being stuck in a country that blocks almost any website that you may want to visit while thousands of miles away from your family, that place is a lifesaver at times. Can't see any of the videos linked and about half of the photos are blank, but it does the job. If any of you read here and contribute there please keep it up, it is the only action some of us poor bastards have to look forward to.
Glass refilled itself and midnight is just around the corner...downed a beer right after the game and considered heading into the mess for a couple more. Walked back to the apartment and dropped the half mason jar remaining in the Margarita bottle, should have gone to bed. Now over halfway through a lovely bottle of Chileian wine ($8.99 for 1.75, good ####). Watching Tupac:resurrection on the box. Need to pee, I hope you sorry bastards that choose to drop some drinks on a Monday manage to find this thread towards the first few pages.

Looks like Dik is going to be a welcome addition as far as new content goes
One word of advice though, we (I) don't have much of an attention span, especially a few hundred cocktails deep. Shorten them up a tad...and be funnier

About 3 months ago I walked into my apartment and tried to vent the pipes with a backup looming. I ended up leaving a serving size of Nutella in my boxers 4ft outside of my bathroom. I dropped the shorts, finished up, cleaned up, and did a load of laundry...it was epic and could have been a major crisis if every last bit of it had been different.
