anyone with tips on anti tank kit ussage? played a game on gulf of oman tonight. spawned as anti tank in one of the command points on the water. tank rolled up and sat next to flag . I go prone and drill it in the side of the treads, reload do it again, reload do it again. finally, after shot number 3, the tank slowly turns and obliterates me. O well, back to c4 for me(took out a full tank and an APC with 2 c4packs tonight)

The key to killing a tank is hitting it in the treads - front are best, anywhere else next. 2 shots to front treads kills a tank.

Love the medic, personally, though I am not one that throws their health kits everywhere.

I was in a squad last night with 3 other guys who were just constantly 'nading a spawn point (cheap, but it was actually for supression during an insane cap that took about 5 minutes) and i was just constantly reloding them with the ammo pack, i got about 25 points just from dropping bags for them.

13 for the first... 23 for the vet... If you get practice a little you can easily get the vet one with a good pilot. Mashtuur is my fav map to do it on.

When were you able to unlock the G3?? I'm a Gunnery Sergeant and I haven't been "allowed" to unlock that yet.... I just installed SF, is that why it hasnt' shown as an available unlock? (If so i'm going to be pissed for wasting unlocks on the M95 & PKM.....)

You have to play SF a little while, then it gives you a bunch of free unlocks equal to your other normal unlocks. I have had the Medic G3 (and Assault FX2000 and another, as well) for several weeks.I am just dying to get flashbang next. 2000 more points and it will be mine. Though I gotta say I might wait to see what the new unlocks are with patch 1.2 (1 sniper, 1 anti-tank) and the booster packs before I decide. Engineer needs an assault weapon, as does anti-tank.

Wow - thanks for the tip. I hadn't even planned on playing SF until I had the FX & G3 unlocked. I'd say a good part of my evening just got booked

just got kicked out of a game to make room for an admin. I was the leading scorer on our team, and the clan that owned the server was on the other team. Hmm, what a coincidence. I actually enjoyed wake island a little bit. Once you actually make it onto the island and arent getting slaughterd in those stupid boats, its pretty fun. i guess ill go back in and play some more. i was in line for a silver medal

still havent gotten a gold, and probably never will. I dont fly choppers or jets and im not that good with tanks. I dont get enough team points to beat the stat whores.

and o yeah, thanks for the advice on the cooling. i figured id get it since some of the customer reviews are complaining about the cooling fans, but ill give the stock cooling a shot.

It's a good thing you got kicked , because I ended up getting the silver! By far the best game I've ever had on Wake. It seems like every time I join a server with you, Wake is always the next map.

I have not taken out any sniper or support unlocks (or engineer for that matter), so I could not say. I know the new sniper can go through the cockpits, but is it really a decent unlock? I seem to read it is a waste by and large.

The ONLY time I use it is when I am a MEC/China sniper cause I don't like the theirs. If I am US I stick with the M24. The PKM is a nice unlock for support. It's more accurate than the M249 SAW. Clips not as big but very nice compared to the others. I use it alot. My fav is still the G36 for the Spec Op and the Medic.

You know what would be nice? A sniper rifle that maybe sacrifices a little on accuracy and damage, but has a higher rate of fire. That would be cool.

I am still trying to figure out how you shoot a .50cal and hit someone in the chest and they dont die. If you aren't going to have it some what realistic, they shouldn't put it in there. The real .50cal is wicked, the game doesn't reflect it.

I have not taken out any sniper or support unlocks (or engineer for that matter), so I could not say. I know the new sniper can go through the cockpits, but is it really a decent unlock? I seem to read it is a waste by and large.

It is, the M95 is absolutely useless unless you've found an adequate spot where you're pretty much laying directly in front of a spawning Heli, where you can wait until one gets fully loaded and take out the pilot with a head shot, and hopefully it crashes and you'll get credit for the kills. otherwise, honestly - it sucks. CNUTZ is totally right. The M95 should be a '1 hit kill' in the torso, but the *****y thing is that if that were true, people would complain like crazy about the 1-hit kills, and we'd just have alot of snip. campers.

Then they need to nerf the M24. If you look at the specs, they have the same damage rating but the M24 is slightly more accurate. There is no way the two should be the same.

I actually enjoyed wake island a little bit. Once you actually make it onto the island and arent getting slaughterd in those stupid boats, its pretty fun. i guess ill go back in and play some more. i was in line for a silver medal

still havent gotten a gold, and probably never will. I dont fly choppers or jets and im not that good with tanks. I dont get enough team points to beat the stat whores.

and o yeah, thanks for the advice on the cooling. i figured id get it since some of the customer reviews are complaining about the cooling fans, but ill give the stock cooling a shot.

It's a good thing you got kicked , because I ended up getting the silver! By far the best game I've ever had on Wake. It seems like every time I join a server with you, Wake is always the next map.

I played a bit last night. I was having one freaking great game on a 64 player Karkand (Meat was on it but left before I got on, I guess). Barely 1/4 of the tickets gone and I was over 50, and it crashed. Anyway, I went on to play on an EA server with Wake and actually performed the tank-on-tank one shot kill that is shown in that previous link. We both ran into each other and he started shooting. I took my time, lined up the shot, and bingo. He was dead and I only had lost 1/4 of my vehicle health. Not sure about tonight or not.

First game, I joined midway through and got Second game, though, was a different story since you get to start and get your bearings. And armored vehicles.

That's where a good squad comes into play. Spawn at a rear point and C4/AT him to hell. If you miss, spawn on your squad leader near by and repeat.I honestly never get in a Tank/APC on Karkand. I find it to be too much of a death trap on 64 player servers. I would rather take my G36 and ground pound it.

I was on with you for a while Meat. You were too busy kicking *** to notice. I was the one who kept capping your flags across the river, but my stupid team refused to spawn there. They just kept running to their death at the first spawn point. It drive me nuts when they do that.

I was the commander on a 64P Karkand map a couple of days ago as MEC. The USMC team was well organized and were kicking our #####. The capped all the flags on the west side of the river and then started to go after the flags on the east side. I asked a couple of times for somebody to go around the firefights and cap some of the flags back but NO ....... the all had to run and die in the fight at the bridge

Needless to say they capped all of the flags and beat us like 150 - 0

True words, but for some reason last night, I got an APC and fragged about 20 guys in a row at the hotel. Jumped out and nailed a few more and then my computer went crash.
