thanks man. Yes, it looks that way. Brady over-performed this year as did most of my other guys. I put a note in the forum that i can't play again next year. I have to cut down some of my leagues. So let me know if there's anything i need to do to sign over my team to someone else. I had fun though.D.

I saw you in TS yesterday, but apparently your mic was muted. I haven't played CoD4 yet, getting it for Christmas. BF2 I believe was released in 2005, so it is essentially a 3 year old game, but still a ton of fun to play. Couple of other guys are getting CoD4, so we'll probably give it a test run and see how it goes.

Yes. Finally got the TS back up and running. Still working on the mic (again!). However, it is enjoyable to listen to you guys go at it. I have to dig out that box this week. Or, at least, buy myself a decent one for Christmas...On a related note, any suggestions for a good mic? Prefer a headset as some of the language would get that "look" from the wife...

I have a Turtle Beach surround sound headset that I really like. It has great sound and preserves my playing privileges with Corp.

LOL, I do not curse in real life, I'm not sure what in this game brings it out. Remember in LOTRO I said nary a bad word. Something about the intense action and stupidity of my teammates (FBGs excluded, most of the times) brings out the terrible. I hereby endeavor to make playing over speakers instead of a headset a viable option.

Got it working, kinda. I need a regular CD - I am using a nocd crack and I get kicked from 3/4 of the servers I try to connect to. Plus I don't want to get my account banned. But I can't find my disk 1 CD. I think I'm going to just buy a new copy - pretty sure they are pretty cheap now.

I played a couple quick sniper rounds - positive k/d ratio and a couple headshots, although most of the time I was plinking away at the body. I've missed this game.

The FFA isn't going anywhere. No chance. If they close it down, all the so-called line steppers will just migrate over to the shark pool.

And o yeah, i just bought Crysis and World in Conflict. But I'm still gonna be doing a lot of battlefield. I just needed some games that can test my new rig.

Who knows. They have been threatening it for years now. I guess, if they want these threads in the SP, then go ahead. Anywhoo. I just downloaded Transport Tycoon and XCom for my flashdrive. Loved those games before college. Am going to be trying them out later as well...

transport tycoon deluxe was a blast. (although the learning curve was kinda steep for a 12 year old. I do remember it got a little too easy once you were able to get the big passenger jets. They paid for themselves in like 3 flights and then it was all profit. Just build 2 or 3 large airports in the biggest cities, use the profits to finance specialized industrial train routes and it was game over.

Of course, the fact that the other companies spent all of their $$ on intracity bus lines didn't hurt.

Crysis is fun (multiplayer is teh suck though). It was a little bit longer than CoD4 but not much.

I have plenty of web storage space, some decent message board scripts and some ideas to shut down the spammers, so if the FFA gets shut down, I'll be more than happy to set something up on one of my sites, or just create a new one just for that (I resell web hosting, so setting up a new site is easy and cheap for me.) As for me, I might try to get on later with you guys. I'll check this thread and BF2Tracker for ya'll. TeamSpeak crashed and died on me last time I got on it, but I'm hoping that was a one time occurance.

Battlefield game on the 360. Amazing new engine. EVERYTHING is destructible. Every building, every wall, every piece of foliage. You can blow it all up. Drops in June but the beta starts on Tuesday. There is plenty of info on IGN.com.
