You know it. This GTX 260 is still a monster for me, so I am OK for now. Just wanting to upgrade to the 5850 or comparable NVidia around the time this game drops.looks like around $310 on newegg. Are the tech specs on the game that much higher than MW2? I run MW2 fine with my Core i720 and HD 4870.

they released specs a few weeks ago i believe. check over at totalbf2 or planetbattlefield. pretty sure theyre listed.From what i've seen, the frostbite engine will be more taxing than the MW2 engine. (if for no other reason than the destructible environments).

I'm running the 5850 in my new machine and it is excellent. I've had some lag problems in a few games but I've pinpointed it to my ISP. I'm getting about half the speed I'm supposed to get through cablevision. That could be a problem when grouping with my boys from Salt Lake, Alabama and Florida.You know it. I just had an awesome game last night. We were defending the last check point on the beta map. the last 2 crates are in a construction site in a half finished building. One crate is on the 1st floor and one is on the 2nd floor. The opposing team was just flooding the site (our whole front line had broken down because they destroyed all the decent cover). Their tank was blasting us from across the site and infantry was storming up the staircase and the ladders. our 2 squads held them off for like 85 tickets and won the game. It was awesome. Were were mowing them down 4 or 5 at a time.
Seriously guys, you are gonna love this game. We will dominate as a full squad in constant communication.

I ignore 98% of his crap, but sometimes you have to call a jackass on his jackassery. Is it confirmed he is a fishing alias? I have a hard time believing anyone could or would intentionally try to be like he is.how is that BF related? Just looking for some place the mods wont read it? We've been told on numerous occasions that blatant fishing will not be tolerated. "He's" been doing it for years. "He" made a bet with a mod (the infamous "Memphis is overrated" thread) and welched on it for like 9 months. During that time, "he" continued to post his nonsense and the mods did nothing.There is absolutely no chance that LHUCKS is a real person. None. I hardly fall in the category of short fuses or problem children here at FBG, and I have twice gotten a TO for very minor name calling. I've gotten 2 suspensions. One for calling Hillary Clinton a female dog, the other for typing the word "blow" as part of a Chris Rock quote. I'm pretty sure both were from Joe himself.

This is really confusing the crap outta me.Anyway, I think me Shawn, Cow, and Baron all have Rainbow 6 Vegas 2. You can pick it up from Steam cheap. Have no idea what the gameplay is like but I used to like the old Clancy games.

as somone who played the beta quite a bit, its not really the same. The battlefield is so much more dynamic (destruction plus lots of diferent elevations) and the lower player count cuts down on chokepoints (there are "lines" in the battle, but they are obviously thinner). I havent played a map with choppers yet, and they do worry me with the low player count.Its an awesome game though. We're gonna have a ton of fun with it. with the smaller player count (32 on PC) and the rush mode game play, a single cooderinated squad will be able to really dominate.But yeah, i'm guessing conquest will still be similar. I really hope they don't make too many fully destructible cover around the flags. It would make defense very dificult.Yea, after watching the BC:2 vid had to reserve my limited edition copy. BF2 is still one of my favorite games of all time, and so far it looks like BC2 took that model and improved on EVERY aspect of it.

plus, i'm sure it will be the same map, which i've already played to death (its good though).If the Beta was a diferent map and/or diferent game mode, i'd be in for sure.I'll probably upgrade my PC in late february right before release. I'm thinking a new vid card and possibly an SSD.
