Still don't understand how it works since he's played more, has a higher rank, and has more kills than I do.On xbox it is ranked 1-201 with only one person at a given time at 201. So I'm guessing it has a set amount of people at each rank that move up and down due to w/l, kills, and points per minute. It seems really random because I am usually ranked 184-193 the past week but between games sit will say I have been dropped down to 113 or 142 or 65 and then it will be back up again after the game. Had an epic moment yesterday afternoon. Was in the one-shot strong tank in conquest on a map I had only played once, the one that starts with two tanks on each side. When I get to points A on there side there are two tanks parked up there. I get a few shots in on both tanks before I have to bail. I crouch next to the burning rubble and pull out my RPG. Right before I go for the kills a group of six enemies jog past me having no clue I survived the blast. I let them past and the shoot the RPG and kill the first tank, turn around and stab the first guy, switch to my AKS and mow down another 4, switch to my pistol and kill who I though was the last guy. Now completely needing to reload all my weapons and thinking I am about to be blasted by the last tank, I sprint towards it as the driver leaps out right into my repair tool I was going to use to kill it. Then I repair the tank, hop in, and drive off. This game rocks. 
You get a achievement for it on xbox.I heard a rumor there is a special award for getting a "headshot" with the repair tool. I have no confirmtation though. Sure as hell going to try it!

Eh I dunno, I think like .7 or .8I had an absolute BEAST game last night with Keenis, I manned a turrent and literally killed 20+ people with it, they couldn't touch me.It was pretty awesome.
That's probably why you jumped up in Skill Rating then. Before this morning (when you were around 96) you were at like 30 or something.
And 0.7 or 0.8 isn't really that far off from mine at 1.01. I think you had something like 699 kills and I'm around 515. Really don't get the Skill Rating thing.
most important is Squad Points imo. this game rewards your squad work. being around and near your squad is money. stay alive so your squad gets a good spawn, ammo, heals, assists, avenges, etc, etc...eta: if you are the last one alive, i rather you stay hidden so others can respawn then you go on a 5 kill streak to die...and the squad ends up spawning back at base...
Going to have to try this. I've only used the Medic class once and I did within the first minute of using it. Don't think I have any points with it yet.

The key is to not ADS sight if there real close to you. I have been able to mow groups by just holding the trigger and not ADS when in close combat.I really don't like the M60 for close range (fire rate/recoil is a bit rough) but man, at medium/long range? Annihilation. I'm just about to the final medic unlock, anxious to see how the 1,000 rounds/minute works
You are doing yourself a disservice for not trying conquest or rush. That is where this game truly shines.
so far my fav after liking the XM8...cant wait to compare it to the M4/M16.
I've always been a fan of deathmatch game types though. Other then counterstrike source, every other fps i spent a lot of time playing was all about deathmatch (for the most part.) Maybe i'll have to give rush mode a shot.
If all you like is deathmatch, then I would guess that BC2 may not be the game for you. This was obviously designed to be an objective-based game requiring teamwork; it's not designed for deathmatch, even though it offers that as an option.
Yea, i've spent enough time playing it to know that it probably isn't for me. I can see what makes it appealing, but i guess it just isn't my type of game.Another thing that makes it tough to get into is none of my friends that i play MW2 with play BFBC2. So i just run solo and play by myself which is cool, but its always a lot funner to play with friends.
Yea, on certain maps in squad deathmatch it seems like a lot of people on the same team hole up in a building and don't move. I guess one of the reason i haven't tried rush mode is because i've never played it before and i don't have anyone to play it with. I'm not a fan of vehicles and i know that vehicles are a huge part of those games. I know how to blow up a tank but i'm not sure how to take out air support (theres no air support in SDM) Alse i'm not really a fan of running into big parties and being on a team that is outmatched. I could still thrive in these scenarios in COD but this doesn't seem like a game where one player can really dominate.
Engineer Class + Tracer + RPG = Bye bye aircraft.Seriously, Rush and Conquest are arguably more action packed than MW2.Give it a shot, if you're playing on XBOX friend me, madshot, dude and badger, one of us is usually on and we have some other people we typically play with too.I hate Squad DM.

I have such a hard time hitting aircraft with the Tracer Dart. I could do it easily on the demo/beta, but it always seems like I miss it by that much {-}.I did see that there are anti-aircraft stations listed in the weapons section now. I haven't seen any in-game. Has anyone else? Closest I've seen are stationary MGs.
You should have played QTF (Quake Team Fortress) or TFC (Team Fortress Classic) if you really like fast paced. Team Fortress 2 is fun too, but a little more dumbed down than the originals. Fortress Forever (free source mod) is the closest to the originals, although it's not as popular as it should be.Its a better shooter then this game is. Yea i used to play counterstrike on my PC but i haven't played video games on the PC in years. I don't really know much about computers so the constant updates and all the stuff you have to keep on can be a hassle for someone who isn't technically savvy. If your computer can play Counterstrike Source, they can play any of those games.
