I know the Asian zombie neighbor used to babysit her but what's with the daughter, the letter she found, the tattoo and her sticking herself with the needle. They also seemed to focus on the empty prescription bottle again too.

just finished watching episode 2 / season 2 of Z Nation....that single episode blew fear the walking dead right outa the water

Really? I like Z Nation, but if you are going to complain about this show you can't say that show blows this one out of the water. That show is fun, but they show no ill effects from a nuclear explosion maybe a mile or so away? The tunnel saved them and of course the guy in the artic had a missile defense system? Needless to say the whole setting off the nukes was basically a non-event. Complaining about a bad van crash off the bridge is one thing, but saying a show where nuclear explosions are just ignored as a "go around this area to avoid the fallout" comment. Hey, no communications or weather channel, but some new guy knows exactly where all of the fall out is the day after the nukes go off?

Also, the guy, who got shot and was dying/bleeding to death, is able to survive the truck flipping in the tunnel and then appears to be as healthy as an ox a couple hours later as if never shot and dying. He even survived choking by having an out of the body experience where he saw a knife that he told himself to reach and was able to stab the other guy and survive. Also, don't forget the main guy who survived multiple zombie bites and has now turned into a half zombie who can mind control zombies to do his bidding. Oh wait, he also fathered a kid with a human girl and the baby in the womb can understand the mom's question about where her dad is and points in his direction miles away.

I like Z Nation, but it wasn't that hard for me to remember that stuff. It is fun and campy, but it is not comparable in any way. It may sound cool to say you like Z Nation more, but it is a SyFy show not based in any reality and completely ignores/forgets stuff.

Z-Nation intentionally is unrealistic. Walking Deads are unintentionally unrealistic sometimes.

I like all 3.

As do I and I definitely understand. It just seems silly to complain about stuff like no packing scenes, too little gore and people not acting as if they should be in 100% survival mode at first tweet. If you are going to nitpick, seems strange to accept the ridiculously unrealistic nature of Z Nation and think it is a way better show. They are all different shows, comparing them is odd to me. Enjoy them for what they are IMHO.

If you haven't figured it out yet the nitpicking continues because the other side on TWD is willing to defend it all costs no matter how ridiculous it is. I'm guessing with Z-Nation both sides would just agree that it is ridiculous.

It was unclear if that was the case. Daughter definitely seemed to react to the pill bottle. I think we can speculate that China Lady had some depression issues and may have attempted suicide in the past.

Jesus dude. The debate wasn't if it was a good scene or not (it was terrible) you said it yourself; it was if it mattered. If you're evaluating the quality of a tv show you just can't ignore bad scenes.

I don't know why people keep saying this. he's probably the most interesting character on the show.

I don't find him that interesting. Not since the first 2 episodes did his character move along the story. Now, all he does is sneak around looking for drugs. Hopefully they don't continue the "junkie needs to get his fix, or he'll die" angle into season 2.

I hope Han Solo doesn't continue his "I only look out for number one" angle into Empire Strikes Back.

Definitely agree. The mom knew something was wrong and the doctor even asked her to go to help in a way to tell the mom that she needed help as if she has to do things she shouldn't. She definitely felt responsible and Travis was still with their son.

How do you know the van scene didn't play a role in TWD losing to Game of Thrones for Outstanding Stunt Coord. Emmy for a Drama series? It probably did. Yahoo dubbed it the "Brain-Dead Move of the Week". These morons actually rolled a van off a bridge and expected it to land on it's wheels and they thought that putting weight in the back would bring the rear end down faster. That's physics 101; acceleration due to gravity is constant. You don't think the directors or stunt coordinators filming the Fast and Furious make those kind of mistakes do you?

Your comparison of TWD to the Patriots is faulty, they didn't even get nominated for Best Series Drama Emmy or Golden Globe; they failed to make the playoffs.

And the GOOD in a show is what determines the quality. Every show ever made can be nitpicked to death. Every single one. A show does not need to be anywhere close to perfect to be excellent. Otherwise, no show has ever been excellent.

As far as I am concerned, the Shane barn scene alone cancels out most of the bad.

You can chose to ignore interceptions when calculating QB ratings too, but, you'd be doing it wrong.

How do you know the van scene didn't play a role in TWD losing to Game of Thrones for Outstanding Stunt Coord. Emmy for a Drama series? It probably did. Yahoo dubbed it the "Brain-Dead Move of the Week". These morons actually rolled a van off a bridge and expected it to land on it's wheels and they thought that putting weight in the back would bring the rear end down faster. That's physics 101; acceleration due to gravity is constant. You don't think the directors or stunt coordinators filming the Fast and Furious make those kind of mistakes do you?

Your comparison of TWD to the Patriots is faulty, they didn't even get nominated for Best Series Drama Emmy or Golden Globe; they failed to make the playoffs.
