If he made these stupid bets here, I imagine he made other, bigger stupid bets on some online sites. Dude probably lost BOATLOADS. Hes probably broke now.

People are over estimating how much a college degree contributes to their intelligence.   I've known engineers that didn't know how to jump start their car.

Interesting - Jameis for President.

He'll retire from the NFL at ~35, so he'll be eligible.  If Trump can win, why not Winston?  He just needs to pair up with K.Conway.

 
Interesting that this guy ran around in she shark pool judging Jameis, the LSU guy whose girlfriend got killed, and anybody else with any kind of questionable behavior's character.

 
Did you guys know his real name was Chad when you placed the bet? Anyone named Chad will screw you every time. Chad's the guy who blabs to the whole school that you're Jewish, and lets you take the blame when he cheats on a test. #### Chad.

Unfortunately the state still considers gambling illegal, so you have no legal ground to get him on.  Only thing he is accountable to is his pride as a man, which seems to be valued at somewhere south of $2100.

Well obviously.  A college degree doesn't cause a person to be more intelligent, just more educated.

 
I thought you gambling nerds had some kind of system worked out to prevent things like this from happening.  Like having a neutral party hold the money or something.  This shouldn't come as a huge surprise.  I wouldn't have expected to get paid by some random message board poster.

I think Maher made a good point related to this - he apologized because comments like the one above were made about Bush, Romney and their voters.  The thing is, if you cry wolf about it it's easier for people to dismiss when there's a chance it's true.  Don't get me wrong, Trump takes it to a new level but when Maher has some self-reflection and admits he was wrong I think we can assume it was a big factor.

Fair point. I'm no BLM expert but I wouldn't equate them with a racist group. There are some jackasses totally offbase completely destroying the point that I assume BLM folks who are good people were trying to bring to light. Things all reasonable people would agree on - stuff like just treat us the same, don't shoot me when you pull me over, etc.

What purpose would it serve, these are grown adults that know exactly what they are doing and don't care.   It is their way of life.   And I like how you qualified around your kids because around you it is fine.

Yea, @cstu seems to be a guy with great morals and ethics... Well that or he is the most full of #### poster this board has even seen - I'm officially leaning towards the latter.

Doesn't even have the guts to step in and take his lumps like a man on an anonymous (for now) board, add coward to everything else we are currently establishing.

They wouldn't look to kindly upon someone participating in an illegal activity.  Someone like that is a risk for fraud or helping themselves to belongings in someone's home who aren't theirs to pay off gambling debts.

When people in BLM say the white people at their rallies are only good for is being a human shield, does that rise to the level of racism?  Racism is the hatred of other races.  Being in a minority does not mean it is impossible to be a racist.

As long as he can answer honestly that he has not been convicted of a felony, the state is OK with it.

This has been discussed repeatedly - the point is a bunch of us have been posting here for a long time and have some pride. He has been here for 65k posts and 12 years, solid legacy he is leaving behind.
