some of those BB deals are SICK
$29 for the 2 gig sd card.. few bucks for games.. (if anyone is going to BB and picks me up an SD card ill throw you an extra ($10 for your trouble).. these deals are the one thing I hate about not living in the U.S

guys,...i got the 360 premium, just want to know some things about Gears of War,....can i get online with it.?? if i can, is it good online?? I know you guys think the games good, just online information is what i want to know before i get it.

You can get online if you have XBOX live. You have to suscribe to it. without it, you cannot get online.
Went to BB and bought the 360 pro, GoW, and a 2nd wireless controller today. The controller was free because I took the Circuit City ad with me which was for a free $50 wireless controller if you buy a 360 and a game. Also got a $20 BB gift card free, which was in the BB ad on Sunday. Will also be getting $10 back from the BB Reward Zone.
I suck, but I'm looking forward to playing online with you guys sometime.

FYI - They only give you 48 hours of free XBox Live Gold with this game. If you buy a 360 pro console you will get 30 days free. No doubt I'll be buying the 12 month package after my free 30 days.

Yes you can. It is good. VERY good. Look in this thread and there are various reviews of the MP.

working in teams of two and flanking is key in MP. Tons of potential for real tactics.
I see where the reviews come up with the paintball comparision. For better or worse the game revolves around hiding behind the next barrier in front of you.

Said mine was shipped from site Mad Cow referred us to. I have been trying to get the HD-DVD drive from a local EB in Tampa, and I asked them about GOW and they said Thur. 
I would have been pissed if I pre-ordered from EB. I wonder if it is a regional thing, or if the Targets/BB just got theirs shipped first? 
They said the HD-DVD won't be in until Fri.
I don't understand what is going on? Usually, when new crap is released on Tue. it is there on Tue. not Fri. When Halo was released, many places had midnight sales, maybe they were both late?
