And you missed my point because I understand Obama's statement was political - I literally acknowledged that in the first few sentences.  Granted, I didn't slip in a clause of how awesome Hillary looks today so you might have missed it, but it's there.

And of course I make way too much of it.  Hello?  Have you seen some of my posts on Thomas Jefferson, the 17th Amendment and Israel?  Are you new here?

When are you going to realize that a lot of the country really admires this woman and doesn't see her in the negative way that you do? Hillary Clinton is a good person, whip smart, more qualified than nearly any other candidate in history, and she will make an excellent President. She has been a tremendous public servant because sh cares about all of us.

And a subjective evaluation treated like an objective one, too.  Reasonable people can differ greatly on the extent to which they consider serving as First Lady to be relevant "experience." You acknowledge it but don't seem to place much value on it.  Others might consider it the most significant experience one could possibly have outside of serving as president. She likely knows more about the day to day operations of the west wing and the demands of the office than any candidate ever, even someone who as served for two terms as a VP.

I didn't say that and I don't think you thought that.  What you presented is what I reacted to, which was Trump's reaction being a reason Hillary should pick Warren as if it should be a primary reason.  The DNC has already foregone the most useful person to help deal with Trump, so I'm not sure that's going to get any sort of play.  At some point, maybe, we'll finally see that if we address the reason Trump is an option in the first place, Trump being an option takes care of itself.

Yes, Tim, we won the bet with jon_mx, according to the terms of the bet and should be paid. The race is over and Obama made his endorsement while acknowledging that it is over. Even Bernie has stopped talking about convincing the super delegates to switch (not mentioned in his speech yesterday). We should be paid immediately.

And yet Bernie is still running.  And yet the FBI is still investigating.  I still believe there is a 5-10 percent chance The FBI recommends an indictment and the convention gets thrown into a chaotic mess.  My team may be down 10 with a minute to go, but it is only over when it is over.

You're the guy who believed that the Clinton campaign and the Associated Press conspired to delay an announcement on a race that was already effectively over, a risky endeavor of no particular benefit to anyone, right?

She's Bob Dole `96 without all that boring honesty and record of bravery - she has waited her turn and in this instance the personal characteristics are just something to hold your nose over instead of having a reason to make you feel good about voting despite what she lacks in other areas.

I am guessing there are a lot of people who WANT her to be President, mainly all the special interest groups and foreign players who have bought her influence in the past. It must be very alluring for some to know that for a price you can hire the US to do your bidding.

That is pretty bad for real. 

The really scary part is I have tried that exact search and that guy is right. I literally thought there was no indictment news on her, per google.

Corporations pay to have this done I believe. Either you hire a consultant or vendor to alter the search results through constant repetition, or they register complaints with Google or they pay Google, not sure. Basically they scrub the system. I don't use Google anyway unless needed for something specific. That's just one reason.

Hillary's week, according to every political expert, has been nothing short of remarkable. Everything has gone right for her, and horribly wrong for Donald Trump. 

Yet, as usual, you'd never know it from reading this thread. In here she is only hours away from an indictment. It's just amazing.

But Donald is thin skinned, has small hands (and is particularly thin skinned about his small hands), so at least those are facts.

As for the nuclear weapons part - I believe he is the only one of the two presumptive nominees that has said he a) wants to use them against ISIS and b) thinks that Saudi Arabia should have them. Those are also facts.

Which I am sure you agree with.
