Huh? What's wrong with voting for an obviously sick candidate? Since when does a president have to be disease free? FDR beat the Germans while fighting heart disease, Kennedy stared down the Russians while suffering from Addison's disease, Lincoln had gigantism, Jefferson had Asperger's, Reagan had skin cancer, etc. Very few presidents were 100% healthy.

Emoticons aside, I've made my voting decision based on the ideological positions (or lack of positions) of the two tickets. The health of one candidate does not change the ideological positions of either ticket, and therefore my vote will not change either.

Frankly I am astonished that there are people who think it's smart to change your vote based solely on a candidate's health.

In short, Kaine>Trump.

*Complication

Difficulty swallowing, called dysphagia, can happen at any stage of Parkinson disease. Signs and symptoms can range from mild to severe and may include: difficulty swallowing certain foods or liquids, coughing or throat clearing during or after eating/drinking, and feeling as if food is getting stuck.  As the disease progresses, swallowing can become severely compromised and food/liquid can get into the lungs, causing aspiration pneumonia. Aspiration pneumonia is the leading cause of death in PD.

Pneumonia actually makes sense.  I had that a couple of years ago and it messed me up.  I'm much younger than Hillary and I'm a distance runner so I was never in that bad a shape, but pneumonia is nothing to mess around with.  That illness is serious for old people like Hillary.

Laid up a 35 year old coworker of mine and she was in tremendous shape.  Kept her out of the office for a couple of weeks.

Yeah, when the heat, exhaustion thing didn't fly, they came up with something else.  Because you know months of coughing fits and gait instability all fit so well with pneumonia.  

There will be a lot of defenders who buy this hook line and sinker.

i still say the most bizarre aspect of all this was her "what a beautiful day, I feel great" routine when she emerged from her pneumonia spell.  Recidivist lying camp and intellectually dishonest supporting fan club.

She has Parkinson's Disease. Pneumonia is a complication of it.

I would say this is shameful, but we all know she has no shame.

 
I don't wish being sick or illness on even the worst politicians, but this probably helps explain why she does so few pressers and TV live interviews.  By limiting her appearances, it lessens the possibility of her having an episode on live television.  But with the debates coming up, should be interesting to see what happens.

In order to believe that Hillary's campaign is lying about pneumonia, you would also have to believe that Dr. Lisa Burdock, who is head of medicine at Mount Sinai Hospital and considered one of the most respected doctors in the United States, is also lying and risking her reputation. She says that Hillary's hacking cough was thought to be a virus and was later diagnosed as pneumonia. She says Hillary  is recovering well and on antibiotics. She says it is not more significant than that. 

Of course this won't deter the conspiracy minded people around here. But for me when a top notch well respected doctor (not like Trump's unknown doctor) issues a statement I believe it.

I edited out the "kills old people" part because I thought that came across as death-wishing, which I sincerely didn't intend.  People do die from this though, particularly old folks.  It's like the flu -- you'll never confuse a cold with the flu once you've been knocked on your ### with influenza.

So were they lying about heat exhaustion?   Because with the Clinton campaign, its hard to tell when they are lying, and when they are really lying.
