Out of curiosity does anyone have any details of what happened to Hillary in December 2012? Like where it happened, indoors vs outdoors, diagnosis?

Because 'this' does sound like 'that'.
This came from CNN in 2012 - hope that ok to quote TF :

U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton sustained a concussion after becoming dehydrated and fainting, and will no longer testify Thursday before the House Foreign Affairs Committee on the deadly attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi, Libya.

Clinton had been suffering from a stomach virus at the time, according to a statement on Saturday from Philippe Reines, deputy assistant secretary of state.

She is being monitored by doctors and is recovering at home. She was never hospitalized, Reines said.

with if hillary gets elected then dies from pneumonia during the inauguration?
If Hillary wins and dies anytime after Congress validates the electoral votes (January 6th), then Kaine becomes president.

If Hillary wins and dies before January 6th, then Congress has a right to reject the electoral college and throw the vote to the House Of Representatives. The House would then be required to vote for one of the top 3 vote-getters. Presumably, that would mean that the Republican House would choose Trump (or Gary Johnson, if he finishes in 3rd).

However, if Hillary died before the Electoral College voted, then the Democratic Party could instruct their electors to vote for Kaine instead of Clinton. The House could still probably choose to ignore the electoral vote, but there would be immense public pressure for the House to vote for Kaine instead of Trump.

From NYT 2012:

WASHINGTON — Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton suffered a concussion early last week after fainting and striking her head, the State Department disclosed on Saturday.

As a result, she will not testify as scheduled on Thursday before Congressional committees investigating the September attack on the American diplomatic outpost in Benghazi, Libya.

The fainting episode occurred after Mrs. Clinton, who is being widely discussed as a possible presidential candidate in 2016, became dehydrated because of a stomach virus she contracted during a trip to Europe, according to statements released by a close adviser and her doctors.

One State Department official said Mrs. Clinton fainted when she was alone at her home in Washington but added that the concussion was not diagnosed until Thursday. He said the concussion was not severe.

2012 timeline - from ABC - again, I hope the source meets with approval:

2012:

Dec. 7: Last time Clinton is seen in public before the illness, wrapping up a European trip in Northern Ireland.

Dec. 10: Clinton cancels trip because of illness. From State Department spokesman Philippe Reines: "Since she's still under the weather, we'll be staying put this week instead of heading to North Africa and the Middle East as originally planned. In her place, Deputy Secretary Burns will travel to Marrakech for the Friends of the Syrian People meeting. We will let you know when she shakes this bug and resumes a public schedule."

Sometime early the week of Dec. 9: Clinton faints and falls while at home.

Dec. 13: Clinton is diagnosed with a concussion, the New York Times reports, with a State Department official saying the concussion "was not severe"

Dec. 15: State Department spokesman Philippe Reines' statement on the concussion: "While suffering from a stomach virus, Secretary Clinton became dehydrated and fainted, sustaining a concussion. She has been recovering at home and will continue to be monitored regularly by her doctors. At their recommendation, she will continue to work from home next week, staying in regular contact with Department and other officials. She is looking forward to being back in the office soon."

Dec. 15:Statement from her doctors: "Secretary Clinton developed a stomach virus, leading to extreme dehydration, and subsequently fainted. Over the course of this week we evaluated her and ultimately determined she had also sustained a concussion. We recommended that the Secretary continue to rest and avoid any strenuous activity, and strongly advised her to cancel all work events for the coming week. We will continue to monitor her progress as she makes a full recovery." - Dr. Lisa Bardack, Mt. Kisco Medical Group, and Dr. Gigi El-Bayoumi, George Washington University

Dec. 15: Clinton informs the Senate Foreign Relations Committee and the House Foreign Affairs Committee that she will not testify before Congress on Benghazi later that month. Republican Rep. Allen West accused Clinton of catching "Benghazi flu" and John Bolton, former U.N. ambassador under President George W. Bush, suggested Clinton fabricated a "diplomatic illness" to miss the hearing.

Dec. 17: State Department spokeswoman Victoria Nuland shoots down any suggestion that the secretary's illness is an excuse to avoid from testifying before Congress on Benghazi. "She very much wanted to, she was willing to," and had planned to, Nuland said. To that end Nuland said that Clinton sent letters that morning to both committees, "making clear that she expects there will be on going communications in January with Congress and she will be open to that," essentially leaving it open that she would be willing to testify at a later date.

Dec. 20: Reines announces that Clinton is being grounded: "Given her condition, the secretary's doctors have advised that she may not fly for any significant duration in the coming weeks. So as things stand we are not planning any travel through mid-January."

Dec. 30: Reines statement on the discovery of her blood clot: "In the course of a follow-up exam today, Secretary Clinton's doctors discovered a blood clot had formed, stemming from the concussion she sustained several weeks ago. She is being treated with anti-coagulants and is at New York-Presbyterian Hospital so that they can monitor the medication over the next 48 hours. Her doctors will continue to assess her condition, including other issues associated with her concussion. They will determine if any further action is required."

Dec. 31: Statement from Clinton's doctors: "In the course of a routine follow-up MRI on Sunday, the scan revealed that a right transverse sinus venous thrombosis had formed. This is a clot in the vein that is situated in the space between the brain and the skull behind the right ear. It did not result in a stroke, or neurological damage. To help dissolve this clot, her medical team began treating the Secretary with blood thinners. She will be released once the medication dose has been established. In all other aspects of her recovery, the Secretary is making excellent progress and we are confident she will make a full recovery. She is in good spirits, engaging with her doctors, her family, and her staff." - Dr. Lisa Bardack, Mt. Kisco Medical Group, and Dr. Gigi El-Bayoumi, George Washington University.

2013:

Jan. 2: Clinton is released from the hospital. Reines statement: "Secretary Clinton was discharged from the hospital this evening. Her medical team advised her that she is making good progress on all fronts, and they are confident she will make a full recovery. She's eager to get back to the office, and we will keep you updated on her schedule as it becomes clearer in the coming days. Both she and her family would like to express their appreciation for the excellent care she received from the doctors, nurses and staff at New York Presbyterian Hospital Columbia University Medical Center."

During the briefing that day, Nuland responds to criticism that the department had not been forthcoming in disclosing the secretary's health problems: "I think really we've been extremely forthcoming including from her doctors on the very specific issues here."

Jan. 7:Clinton returns to work.

Jan. 9: Clinton first appears on camera at a photo-op alongside Dan Rooney, ambassador to Ireland. She is not wearing glasses. She tells reporters in a brief, playful question and answer session that she is thrilled to be back.

Jan. 23: Clinton testifies on the Hill about Benghazi, raising questions about her glasses. Reines confirmed that Clinton was wearing the glasses as a result of the concussion: "She'll be wearing these glasses instead of her contacts for a period of time because of lingering issues stemming from her concussion. With them on she sees just fine. In fact, she got a kick out of the above when she saw them crystal clear."

Nuland offered a similar statement: "In response to lots of speculation, the secretary is going to be wearing the glasses instead of her contacts for some period of time because of lingering issues that stemmed from her concussion. She sees just fine with them, and she also enjoyed some of the comments she saw in the press about the extra sort of diplomatic lift she gets from gesturing with them."

Jan. 27: CBS News airs a joint "60 Minutes" interview with Clinton and Obama. She is still wearing the glasses.

Feb. 1: Clinton's last day as Secretary of State (from this point on she is a private citizen). She is still wearing the glasses.

Feb. 14: Clinton makes her first public appearance since leaving office. She is not wearing the glasses.

From a 2014 ABC story:

Bill Clinton did more today than defend his wife, Hillary Clinton, from recent accusations leveled by GOP strategist Karl Rove that she suffered brain damage after falling in December 2012.

The former president revealed that his wife's injury "required six months of very serious work to get over," he said during a question-and-answer session at the Peterson Foundation in Washington.

"They went to all this trouble to say she had staged what was a terrible concussion that required six months of very serious work to get over," he said. "It's something she never low-balled with the American people, never tried to pretend it didn't happen."

But Bill Clinton's timeline appears to differ from official comments from the State Department at the time.

"Judging by the woman we saw this morning and the workload that she's got she seems to be fully recovered," spokeswoman Victoria Nuland told reporters at a State Department briefing Jan. 7, 2013, about a month after Hillary Clinton's fall and concussion occurred.

Your source is no good unless your source writes something that the denier agrees with.

2005 fainting episode:

(CNN) -- Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton fainted during a luncheon speech Monday in upstate New York, citing a 24-hour virus, but she recovered and resumed her public schedule.

"She has had a GI virus -- an acute gastrointestinal illness -- and she has been sick for at least a day and she needed some fluids; she needed to sit down and relax," Pincus told a reporter for television station WIVB.

ETA - interesting cover story for the 2005 incident:

She has since returned to Washington.

A number of Clinton's Senate staffers fell ill during a weekend staff retreat in Rye, New York, a staff member said.

Yup, that's much better. Notice how it's got named sources and uses facts instead of gossip and innuendo, and doesn't come from a right-wing loony blog, and just kind of sounds reasonable.  Subtle difference, I know, but an important one

“Thirty days in the hospital? And when she reappears, she’s wearing glasses that are only for people who have traumatic brain injury? We need to know what’s up with that.” Karl Rove 2014

I'm also perplexed by Bill Clinton's own statement that it took Hillary 6 months to recover. I don't think that's encouraging actually.

So reading thought SF's research:

- Three instances of fainting, 2005, 2012 & 2016.

- Bill Clinton told ABC Hillary required 6 months of "serious work" to recover in 2012-13.

- 2005 it was a GI bug, 2012 it was a the flu, 2016 it's pneumonia, but in the first two instances there was dehydration. I'm guessing that's what happened here in 2016 also. And typically pneumonia does not arise by itself, it's usually the result of a resilient flu or virus that will not go away, and it too can lead to dehydration.

They will keep her alive thru the election via a combination of HGH injections & the blood of healthy goats. After that prepare for 4-8 years of President Kaine.

I guess whats odd is all this dehydration - if you had issues with this in the past isn't there a good chance you'd be drinking water and gatorade or other dehydration products all the time- you know you will need it so it should become a natural part of your daily activity.

probably ran out of appropriate replacement fluids and need to send back to the home planet of the lizard people.

One of the bad Ditkas writes:

Well, I would not want to speak for all law-abiding Mexicans, but I would think that many of them were offended when Trump said "they're not sending their best". So yeah.

If Trump had simply said "Half of the illegals are bringing problems and crime", then he could have energized his base while simultaneously attracting Mexican-Americans who don't see themselves as belonging to the half who bring problems.
How many millions of registered democrats are there? Isn't safe to say  a percentage of them are racist or homophobic etc. So wouldn't they be considered deplorable ?

thanks for the thoughtful answer, didn't know any of that

Didn't she use terms like racists, sexists, misogynists, xenophobia?

No idea about the percentage, but not too controversial to suggest that is a PART of his constituency (David Dukes, who as most will recall, he was very slow to distance himself from - what a surprise he isn't polling well with blacks?).

No need to conflate THAT element with "the common man". Do you equate them? If not, that isn't who she was talking about. Voters that AREN'T racists, sexists, misogynists and xenophobes aren't who the remark was directed at.
I'll have to remember that she is against racism next time I see her huddled up with Jesse or Sharpton.

So if you were in charge of Hillary's campaign, would you spend any money on Georgia, Arizona, Texas or Utah? Would you squeeze in a visit by Hillary in any of those states over the next few weeks?

Or would you just assume that, despite the tight polling, in the end none of these 4 are going blue and it's better just to concentrate on the more traditional battlegrounds?

The media keeps saying that Trump can't win without Pennsylvania. That's not exactly true, but it's extremely unlikely.

The lead for Hillary was 10 there, now it's down to 5. Obama won it both times but the African-American vote was REALLY energized and he dominated with Philadelphia suburbans, white women, etc. Hillary needs to follow the same strategy.

She should spend about 25% of her time there next month. Ohio, North Carolina, Florida- they're all important. But Pennsylvania is THE state.

I'd schedule visits to a couple of them. In Arizona, there is a Mayo Clinic near North Scottsdale, so she could hold an event in several places nearby. Georgia has Emory University Hospital, though I'm not sure what venues are in the vicinity. I'd punt Texas and Utah for now, but still research the best 2 or 3 clinics just in case they feel they should schedule something last minute.

She has plenty of money so I'd go for it - it would force Trump to match in those states. It might help a number of suburban house races and some senate race - forcing the RNC to spend money there as well instead of the other battleground house and senate seats.

:D  OK. That made me laugh.

Basically, don't leave Philly, stop over in Pittsburgh: http://www.politico.com/2012-election/results/president/pennsylvania/

I live in the burbs of Philly and the Hillary campaign has already rang my doorbell twice.

ABSOLUTELY!

The DNC emails that were released clearly showed the party is filled with closet racists.  That is fact.  Oh, they talk a good game, but in reality they are the racists that they are so eager to call anyone who doesn't vote Democrat.

The best part about this is Hillary is such a lying sociopath that a body double seems possible :lmao:
In the bizzaro world you have created in your mind where she is a Parkinson's riddled murdering cyborg that controls all media and the Internet content with her blackberry perhaps

That will be tough since she will be spending 80% of her time sleeping.

So we're basically trying to get this Kaine dude elected without facing the vetting process at this point?  Very little chance Hillary is healthy enough to actually assume the presidency.

HRC abdicates due to health, Kaine becomes Pres. Kaine names Bernie as VP. Kaine abdicates when it comes out that Kaine is a robot and robots are not allowed to run the country yet - Bernie becomes Pres. It's happening.
