Look at the pear shaped loser disrespecting Stacey Rosana.

After a brief conversation caught on video, Clinton could be heard exasperatedly telling Rosana, "Why don't you go run for something, then?" Rosana then walked off under the nervous gaze of Minnesota Gov. Mark Dayton, who could be seen standing in the background, visibly uncomfortable.

Disgusting 'I'm in this for me and me only' attitude on display.

i'm not sure encouraging a young person to move from being aware to politically engaged is exactly this thing you describe.

And Trump's not? Both of them are a joke. But Trump's the bigger one. And so she is not allowed to put a young lady in her place? Like Trump putting everyone in their place it seems every time the guy opens his mouth?

Jeeeez.
I know this has been covered ad naseum in this thread, but how is Hillary a joke? She's incredibly smart. She's uber qualified. If she's a joke, then please tell me who would be a good President.

There's so much irrational hate for the Clintons its absurd.

That's a ridiculously dumb thing to complain about. And just another example of people hating Hillary for no real reason.

Here's more on what actually happened (from your article):

When Rosana asked who specifically she was referring to, Clinton mentioned Abdi Warsame, the first Somali-American elected to the Minneapolis City Council, according to City Pages. Rosana responded inaudibly, shaking her head, to which Clinton replied, "You know what dear, you have a different opinion."

"He is a Somali-American elected to the city council," she said. "I'm really proud of that." Dayton, who was watching the exchange, stepped in at that point to tell Rosana that other people needed time to ask questions of Clinton.

The former secretary then ended the increasingly tense exchange, saying to Rosana, "Well, good. Good luck to you."

---

Seems like Secretary Clinton was perfectly reasonable to me. I just don't get the hate for her. She's going to be a great President.
Well I can't stand her, but I'm with you.  I don't see the problem with this particular exchange.  I can't hear any of it, but if the article is accurate then what's the problem?

The email described a deteriorating situation in Libya, with snipers shooting people in the streets as rebels tried to unseat President Muammar el-Qaddafi and worried American diplomats in the midst of a “phased checkout” from Benghazi. It arrived in the private email account of Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton, one Sunday morning in April 2011, with unforeseen consequences.

That email, which included an update from the Africa Command of the Department of Defense detailing Libyan military movements, is part of the evidence that law enforcement officials say the F.B.I. is now examining as it tries to determine whether aides to Mrs. Clinton mishandled delicate national security information when they communicated with their boss.

...Its author was Timmy T. Davis, a State Department official who was then a personal aide to Mrs. Clinton. He was reporting to her information that had been received from J. Christopher Stevens, the American ambassador to Libya, who was killed 17 months later in Benghazi.

“Stevens Update (important),” says the subject line, before continuing, that “Stevens is considering departure from Benghazi. The envoy’s delegation is currently doing a phased checkout (paying hotel bills, moving some comms to the boat, etc).”

...The email, a copy of which was recently posted online by the State Department, also included an update from the United States Africa Command that indicated that Mr. Qaddafi’s forces had been sent to a city south of Benghazi, “with five vehicles at the eastern gate and 50 at the western gate,” information that in retrospect, intelligence officials said, should have been considered classified.

Even if Mrs. Clinton’s aides simply summarized classified material provided to them by others — as opposed to forwarding her a classified document — they may have violated federal laws that govern how intelligence information is handled, experts in government classification laws said.

...Ms. Abedin then forwarded it to Mrs. Clinton. While Ms. Abedin would have no clear reason to presume this information was classified, Mr. Davis could be found at fault for distributing the information in an unclassified setting. Mr. Davis, who is still at the State Department, did not respond to a request for comment.

- Just a refresher from last fall. This is not even a classified email, it's SBU.

It's simply amazing.

You like analysis which views things exclusively in terms of race.  I am not sure Trump has much of a chance, but there will be a lot more going on then just viewing this presidential race through the prism of race.  It is a very shallow analysis.

Race is the only prism Tim uses these days. Makes you wonder....

Here's a breakdown of why Trump has s very low chance of winning this election:

http://www.newyorker.com/news/john-cassidy/could-donald-trump-win-the-general-election?intcid=mod-latest

On the other side of the ledger, Trump has been trampling on established political wisdom since he launched his campaign. So far, it has worked for him. Later this week, he will visit Macomb County, in suburban Detroit, an area rich in Reagan Democrats that used to be regarded as a bellwether, and where Trump is reportedly doing very well. When I pressed Teixeira, he conceded that the Rust Belt strategy does represent at least a potential path to the White House for Trump. But he described it as “a narrow path” that depends on a number of unlikely events, such as minority voters failing to show up at the polls despite the type of campaign that Trump has conducted. “We could have a high-turnout election, but that doesn’t mean that Trump would win,” Teixeira said.

- Trump has lost in IA (nearly 3rd) and MN (3rd). I am not sure that his style plays well in the midwest. I'd say watch the upcoming midwest states.

Sat & Tue you've got KS, NE, MI, then following week you've got IL, MO, OH, then 4/2 you've got ND, 4/5 there's WI. Watch those states, if Trump does not ramp it up and win big there that's not a good sign for him.

I'm really curious how the anti-trade stuff works in OH, MI & WI.

Not that amazing when you consider almost all of the most vocal critics in this thread are conservatives.
I actually find that more puzzling. Hillary is a moderate Democrat. To me, that's a big plus. I would think Republicans would agree. Why wouldn't they want the Dems to nominate a moderate?

I wouldn't call Kasich a moderate but he's as close as the Repubs get (not counting Trump). So now that Rand is out,  I totally root for Kasich.

To most of those who don't support her, Hillary is a corrupt chameleon.  It falls on deaf ears when her supporters try to appeal to Independents and Republicans who don't support her by saying she is a moderate.  Similarly, when her supporters try to appeal to Bernie backers by touting her progressive credentials it also doesn't resonate.

Assuming Kasich is still in the race, I don't think Trump's performance in the Ohio primary would be a good indicator of how he might fare there in the general.

The FBI is investigating whether computer passwords were shared among Hillary Clinton's close aides to determine how sensitive intelligence "jumped the gap" between the classified systems and Clinton's unsecured personal server, according to an intelligence source familiar with the probe.

The source emphasized to Fox News that “if [Clinton] was allowing other people to use her passwords, that is a big problem.” The Foreign Service Officers Manual prohibits the sharing of passwords.

Such passwords are required to access each State Department network. This includes the network for highly classified intelligence -- known as SCI or Sensitive Compartmented Information -- and the unclassified system, known as SBU or Sensitive But Unclassified, according to former State Department employees.

...

A separate source said the list of individuals is relatively small -- about a dozen, among them Clinton aide Jake Sullivan, who was described as "pivotal" because he forwarded so many emails to Clinton. His exchanges, now deemed to contain highly classified information, included one email which referred to human spying, or "HCS-O," and included former Clinton aide Huma Abedin.

As Fox News first reported last year, two emails -- one sent by Abedin that included classified information about the 2011 movement of Libyan troops during the revolution, and a second sent by Sullivan that contained law enforcement information about the FBI investigation in the 2012 Benghazi terrorist attack – kick-started the FBI probe.

...Fox News also has learned the State Department cannot touch the security clearance of top aides connected to the case without contacting the FBI, because agents plan to directly question individuals about their handling of the emails containing classified information, and they will need active clearances to be questioned.

...

- Say what you will about Fox but Catherine Herridge has not been wrong yet. She is a professional journalist with a long background in foreign affairs and national security.

- I posted the Libyan article just a little while ago.

- MOP originally alluded to this. Passing around passwords to others without clearance would be a big deal IMO.

Let's say we all agree that Hillary's actions aren't as bad as the guy who should have been prosecuted for three felonies.  (I do agree with that assessment, by the way, so this isn't entirely hypothetical).  Can we then at least then also agree that the fact that that's even our comparison point demonstrates that she has no business running for president?  If your defense of Hillary is that yeah she committed some crimes but they weren't quite as bad as Patraeus's crimes, that's an even harsher position than what I've staked out.
No!  For starters I have no defense of Hillary.  I'm not on the defense team in the court of public opinion I'm in the jury room.  I am evaluating evidence as it sprinkles in and am still of the opinion that the there is quantity of evidence, but no quality.   And nothing comes close to supporting criminal or even some level of gross incompetence at this point.   So sorry no!  Maybe that will change.  Maybe it won't!

What does a former staffer’s immunity deal mean for Hillary Clinton?

The revelation that the Justice Department has granted immunity to a former State Department staff member who worked on Hillary Clinton’s private email server is a likely indication that the investigation is nearing a conclusion, but should not be read as a sign that the leading Democratic presidential candidate is going to face criminal charges, legal experts said.

That Bryan Pagliano — a 2008 presidential campaign worker who set up the server in Clinton’s home — will avoid charges as he cooperates with FBI agents is a significant, if incremental, development, according to former federal prosecutors and white-collar defense lawyers who have been following the case.

It could mean that Pagliano, concerned about his legal exposure, might implicate others, including Clinton. But it also could be an indication that agents and prosecutors are winding down an inquiry that won’t result in charges, said Justin Shur, a former deputy chief of the Justice Department’s Public Integrity Section who now works in private practice at the MoloLamken firm.

“I don’t know that I would necessarily jump to the conclusion that this person has ‘flipped,’ and now they’re going to say a bunch of incriminating things about other people,” Shur said, adding that the agents could simply be making sure they have spoken to everyone relevant to the investigation.

...Immunized witnesses can be critical. Prosecutors offered a generous immunity agreement to the businessman they said bribed former Virginia governor Robert F. McDonnell (R), and the businessman’s testimony at trial was pivotal to demonstrating the corrupt bargain between the two.

In Pagliano’s case, FBI agents and federal prosecutors probably want to know about the conversations he had with Clinton or her aides when he set up the server, said Matt Kaiser, a white-collar criminal defense lawyer at Kaiser, LeGrand & Dillon.

“It’s an interesting development,” Kaiser said. “I think they’re going to push it as far as they can. They’re going to want to know everything they can know before they make a decision to charge somebody or not.”

...The FBI is looking to wrap up the Clinton inquiry — a criminal investigation of the possible mishandling of classified information — in the coming months, according to a senior U.S. law enforcement official. There are no outward signs that prosecutors have convened a grand jury, a powerful tool that would allow them to subpoena witnesses.

...Edward B. MacMahon Jr., a lawyer who represented Sterling and Sept. 11 conspirator Zacarias Moussaoui, said that although prosecutors probably could charge Clinton, politics may prevent them from doing so. Justice Department guidelines, he said, discourage prosecutors from bringing cases in such a way that they influence elections.

“Almost anybody else already would have been receiving a target letter,” MacMahon said. “Of that, there isn’t any question in my mind.”

Jacob Frenkel, a white-collar criminal defense lawyer at the Shulman Rogers firm, said the immunity grant “raises exponentially the stakes in the investigation,” although because of the secrecy surrounding the investigation, it was hard to know where it might lead.

“This is a significant piece in providing clarity to an otherwise complicated jigsaw puzzle,” Frenkel said, “and we do not know exactly where Mr. Pagliano’s finger or fingers will point.”

- The McDonnell situation is the one I'm most familiar with, but admittedly it may not really apply here.

BFS can speak for himself, but I'm not sure he's "pro" Hillary unless "hold your nose and vote for her because, well....trump" is "pro Hillary" now, which is entirely possible.  That's one way to get her favorability numbers up.
Okay, that's fair and my apologies to BFS if I accidentally mischaracterized his position.  I have no problem with people who are voting for Hillary as the lesser-of-two-evils.
No worries.  And I live in Maryland so I doubt my vote will be helpful for or against Hillary.   While I think it is dumb to vote third party, especially as a protest vote in a contested election I still have never had such worries in a presidential primary or general election.  But even with that luxury I'm not sure Hillary from behind bars is not better than anyone in the GOP crowd,  When Kasich was lonely and being ignored at the end of the stage he seemed like maybe the adult in the room, but then he was given just a little bit of air time.

Since you seem to be obsessed with Hillary's shape, what do you think about Trump's physique? How about the hair?  What about his orange,  melting face?    Maybe they should make simpletons like you happy and add a swimsuit debate before elections.

hillary-clinton-young.jpg

Hillary was kinda cute in her 20's.

Anybody know why she refuses to be filmed getting in and out of her plane?

Is it a security issue?

Does her ### look too big?

Does she have to use one of those chairs like the grandma in the Better Saul Call commercial?

You should be given a timeout for 3 days for even thinning of this.

Just saw the perfect pro v. con in the way this election is shaping up:

Hillary Clinton:

Pro - Not Donald Trump

Con - Is Hillary Clinton

Donald Trump:

Pro - Not Hillary Clinton

Con - Is Donald Trump

This will be the first election where the majority people are just voting against somebody

Grandma is tweeting with Gifs now and using memes of HERSELF.

But richer is the content, complaining about the number of Republican debates.

Some voters appreciate debates, but Hillary runs from them.

I'm liking this from the pear shaped loser.

Clinton’s proposals for boosting taxes on high-income earners, modifying taxation of multi-national corporations, doing away with fossil fuel tax incentives and increasing the estate and gift taxes would fall hardest on the top 1 percent of taxpayers, while leaving 95 percent of Americans relatively unscathed, according to an analysis released on Thursday by a joint venture of the Urban Institute and the Brookings Institution.

Is this still going on?

- There are 2-3 pictures out there which suggest that Hillary yes at one time could have grasped the flower of womanhood, but that is not one of them.

Btw I detect early onset of cankles there, probably a result of Birkenstocks overuse.

Yep that's big (in Hillary's favor).

I'm going to guess that he has also turned over access logs, which probably would play a role in the passwords issue. And if someone just guessed the password through software or just pure guesswork then that would not be reflected as a "hack" per se.

Shtick aside, my guess is that it's just the visuals of her struggling to climb stairs.  I know a pretty large number of women who are 60+ and overweight, from work and church, and every single one of them -- literally without exception -- has a difficult time navigating stairs.  Many of them just take the elevator even if it's only just one flight, but even the ones who actually do take the stairs shamble up them in a way that's kind of awkward and very grandmother-like.  I think this is one area where women just age differently than men, because men of the same age who are even more out-of-shape seem to have no problem with stairs.  Maybe it's bone density?

Regardless, it makes sense that Hillary wouldn't want video of her using both handrails to pull herself up the stairs.

Democrats constantly make the mistake of assuming people will not adjust to higher taxes.  In reality, the top 1% will find a way to avoid the taxes and escape relatively unscathed, while the unforseen/unintended effects of the wealth grab would fall hardest on 95% of Americans, one way or another, as always.

Might as well just let Wall Street write the tax code, Shrillary!

Hillary had one of the best moments of her campaign last night, and she wasn't even there. First there was that juvenile display on stage which makes her look so much more presidential by comparison. Now the news that America just added 240,000 more jobs. It's a good time to be Hillary Clinton.

For once I may agree with you on Hillary, lousy candidate in a great situation.

And this is where we're at.  I couldn't sum it up better Tim

One of Hillary's best moments of her campaign is a comparison to the goat rodeo that is the GOP.  I have no idea what the jobs thing here is, but i also don't know why people blame/praise an individual as if they had significant personal impact on any of our systems (economic or social) so that one's probably on me.

Yep.  Hillary's best shot at the White House amounts to just staying out of the GOP's way.

The jobs thing is, very simply: the biggest factor for whether or not Hillary Clinton gets elected (other that Trump running against her) is how independents perceive the economy is doing. If they think business is either thriving or at least OK, she wins.

Yeah, I do like her better when I don't have to see or hear her.

Who is the real job creator?

A.  Obama hitting the links for the 2000th time

B.  Hillary cackling at someone

C.  The guy who risks his life savings and works 80+ hours a week creating a business
