I see the Hillary movie ending like The Blues Brothers. She makes it all the way to the inauguration and when she goes to place her hand on the bible to take the oath you see the cuffs slap on her wrist. The movie ends with her giving a speech but as the camera pulls back you see the speech is for her fellow inmates at the prison. Could use Jailhouse Rock just like Blues Brothers did.
This is why being a politician really sucks. Hillary has a moment where she actually shows some compassion and says something nice about a friend who passed away and people get their panties in a bind over it.

And yet was still prosecuted, fined $100,000, and given 2 years' probation. That would be the death knell for a presidential campaign.
It is kind of interesting. In some ways what Patraeus did was worse and in some ways what Hillary did was worse. It is going to be a huge political football. We already have top level Democrats screaming about their 'serious questions' about the independance of the State Department and FBI. Of course they did not question the independance of the Departement of Justice for some reason.
But the Democrats seem to already be digging in for the real possibility that the FBI will recommend charges against Hillary. Basically we will be expanding the VRWC to include the FBI and State Department. Seems like we are headed towards reliving all the bad parts of the Clinton years all over again.

Frankly, if we can't band together to vote Sanders as the candidate when faced with that possibility, I guess we deserve either Hillary or Donald.It is kind of interesting. I am pulling for Kasich, but he is even a much bigger longshot than Sanders. If it does happen, i would rank Hillary and Donald as the worst choice the American people have ever had in the general election.

Agreed. I can't think of any other situation where I would vote for Hillary than her being up against any of the top 3 of the current Republican field.

I lost some Facebook friends by telling then to wait for the body to cool before laying into her -- but now that it has, what she did (and didn't do) was pretty vile. I don't think it does or should define her life, but to praise her specifically for her contributions to AIDS would be like lauding Casey Anthony for her contributions to motherhood.

Just for clarification: when I wrote that IMO Hillary did nothing wrong that means both legally AND ethically. She admits she made a mistake by insisting on a private server, and I agree with that. But IT WAS NOT WRONG.

She said her mistake was only in that it has caused an uproar and as she put it "raised a lot of questions." She has not admitted to any actual mistake in her actions. If she is questioned by the FBI she cannot maintain that posture with them. If she isn't questioned by them she probably skates.

I don't think that Nancy Reagan's silence (as first lady) on AIDS lead to any deaths, I don't recall any criticism directed at her individually during that time.
Ronnie is a different story and his record on AIDS/HIV was abysmal, but Mr. Ham was not talking about him, he was referring to Hillary specifically praising Nancy.

Sanders has significantly higher numbers when it comes to likability. He can afford to drop a lot to catch her. And while Bernie's numbers would surely drop more than Clinton's on a percentage basis, it's crazy to think her numbers won't drop a bit as well.
Edit to add it's true voters will hear about negative things from the right about Bernie. Won't they also hear positive things about Bernie from Bernie himself? Doesn't the fact folks who meet him and hear him explain himself keep saying positive things factor in even slightly? Sure not all voters will listen to him but some will.
