She's the second-most disliked candidate since they started polling.  Of course a stronger candidate would beat Trump.  Even Hillary will probably end up winning comfortably, and she's terrible at this.

I'm not going to pretend that her pick was going to change my mind about her.  It won't, because at the end of the day, it's about her and Trump not their VP choices.  I look forward to those choosing to die on the "Hillary is really a liberal" hill.

Tim I am making sense. Part of the reason we sit here with these horrible choices is the old lesser of two evils vote. Along with the establishment catering only to the donor class. So we get the Wall Street ticket of Clinton/Kaine, boy will the money flow now, and the angry white guy ticket of Trump/Pence. None of these people deserve to be President. They certainly don't deserve my vote and they aren't getting it.

These are very convenient things to believe. Incorrect but convenient . If Trump wasn't the GOP candidate Hillary would be in massive trouble. The only thing Hillary has going for her is Trump. Her numbers are horrible. Again you and she should both be on your knees every night thanking whatever deity that someone like Kasich didn't get the nom.

There are two candidates running for President.  If Hillary does not matter at all then maybe she should quit now.

Actually I don't think it's Hillary's pitch, it's her modulation. She can have the subtlety of a 2x4. She's also physically stiff.  (The Pokemon...go...to..the..POLLS thing is probably a good example thing is an example of where she hit all 3). it's just bad public speaking. But IMO Hillary had seemed more relaxed for the most part recently with a couple exceptions and I think the reason is that Trump has done the impossible which has given her a voice and given her a chance to be the 'good guy'. 

With Trump (aside from the content) it's the facial and body movements and ticks that bother me.

Shrillary becoming president will have been the luckiest and most fortunate run ever.  Consider her history when running for president:

-got beaten in 2008 by Obama, despite her being the much bigger name going in to the primaries.

-despite the DNC being in the tank for her, struggled in 2016 to beat a socialist for the Democratic nomination who has accomplished very little while being in the Senate for forever.

-(if she wins) beat Trump, arguably the most despised person in modern political times (even hated by much of his own party). 

Like you said, had she gone against a formidable opponent in the Democratic race, or were going against one in the presidential one, she would have gotten pummeled.  The fact that many polls currently show that her neck and neck with Trump for the most part right now just shows how weak of a candidate she is.  

Congrats America: we are about to elect a corrupt criminal to the White House.

Maybe her, not me. At this point I would gladly take Kasich, or Rubio, or even Ted Cruz. I would gladly take a Hillary loss so long as it meant Trump was not elected. For me it's all about beating Trump. I like Hillary, but she's secondary to protecting the Constitution. 

IMO, what you're still not getting NC is that no matter how much you despise Hillary she is not a threat to the Constitution and this country. Trump is. I would vote for Bernie Madoff over Trump and feel morally justified in doing so. This is not a normal election.

She is a threat Tim. Her corruption is the antithesis of every ideal our liberty rests on. She is selling it to the highest bidder. She is perfectly happy to bring on oligarchy as long as she and Bill get theirs. She is a corrosive presence in our body politic.

List the ways Don will violate the constitution tim. And I hope you're not harping on just the religion thing, cause if you think he wins and something like that actually happens, well.....you're an idiot. He'd be impeached before he could finish his signature.

Even if I accepted your premise, we have had plenty of corrupt Presidents before. It's not optimal, but we've survived. Sometimes we have even thrived because despite the corruption the President turned out doing a good job. 

We have never had a President like Donald Trump. Never. The closest thing we have ever had in American politics to Trump is Joe McCarthy, and he didn't get near the presidency. I am telling you this is an existential threat to our country.

i respect your posts where you demonstrate policy differences you have with Hillary.  

This bitter, Rovian vitriol that could easily be found on a Redstate or Brietbart comments section?  Not so much.  

 
Reports are that Hillary has explained her opposition to TPP to Tim Kaine and convinced him to change his mind on this issue; he is now against it.

Tim, you were one of the people (along with me) during the primaries arguing that Trump should get the GOP nomination even if he fell short of the delegates because no one else could come close.

Trump is not Joe McCarthy but he is definitely much more of a pragmatist compared to Obama.  Trump promises to fix problems quickly by giving lower priority to some ideals that people also support.  Hillary supporters either do not agree those problems exist or that self preservation (aka national security) is more important.   Trump targets people disatisfied with the status quo.  It all comes down to whether Obama is right that things are "not really as bad as they seem".
