You may know more about college basketball than most here but you understand very little about persuasion, negotiation, communication, or sales.
Maybe I do, maybe I don't. In all likelihood you don't know anywhere near enough about me to make any of those calls.
In the words of the wise Gregory House, everybody lies. You lie, your wife lies, your children lie, your colleagues lie, your boss lies, the media lies, politicians lie, poster in the FFA lie, moderators of FBG lie, I lie, Illary lies, Trump lies. Even Bill Self lies. Everybody lies.
Well aware of this. Thought I made that clear in the post you quoted.
Lying about a terrorist attack on a US Embassy, lying about sending/receiving classified information, lying about accepting money from foreign entities for special favors, lying about potentially terminal and/or degenerative diseases of the brain are not even comparable to Trump claiming that the NFL asked him to move a debate (which they likely did based on Trump's numbers in the primary debates).
I wasn't comparing the two. My point was that Trump's propensity for lying is so ingrained he can't even tell the truth when there's nothing at stake. Of course Trump lies about the big stuff. He's lying about the wall. He has enough experience building stuff to know building such a wall isn't feasible, and he knows Mexico won't pay for it. He lied about things that happened during his security briefings. He's lied over and over and over again about his wealth and stewardship. He's created such an intricate web of lies about his money he can't disclose financial information this generation of candidates have released without protest, and he lied about the reasons why he was unwilling to do so.
Trump's lies are large, medium, small, and so voluminous the attempts to catalog them don't even look real.
And Trump did lie about the NFL thing. That's not in dispute. His minions defend the action by saying he was joking, which isn't true, but whatever. Presidential debates happen in the fall, and they choose evenings with high home viewership for the same reasons the NFL does. It's not the first or last time it's happened. Besides, if the NFL wanted the debates moved, they would have contacted the people producing and airing the debates, not one of the participants.
The company he keeps are a bunch of liars, too. They had to take his wife's website down because it contained too many lies about her work and education history to leave it available for scrutiny. He had to let go of the pastor that was killing it warming up the crowds at his rallies because he lied about going to seminary and being a member of a fraternity. He's had to let go of two campaign managers over lies, and he can't officially hire the guy he wants running the campaign now because he's not far enough removed from getting fired from his last job over a series of sexual harassment incidents. Within the last couple of days his daughter lied about a supposed lack of information on Clinton's website, information that has been there for over a year.
Bruce ****, you are the master at catchy thread title updates and hot takes during college basketball season
You are not working from accurate information here. I can't remember the last college basketball thread I started, much less made enough thread title updates to become master class at it. You have me confused with someone else. And I'm a connoisseur of hot takes, not a maker of them.
You are an amateur when it comes to awareness of what is happening in this election cycle.
Well, I'm trying to preserve my amateur status so I can compete in Election Cycle Awareness in the next Olympics. But overall it appears you're confusing disagreement with ignorance, and rushing to judgement awfully quickly given how little you know about me.
In fact, you are lying to yourself, for whatever reason.
That's not true. Not sure how I can prove it to you, especially given how hastily you've made generalizations about stuff on little info, and couldn't get the stuff right in areas where you have a lot of info that isn't in dispute. So I guess I'll just have to agree to disagree on this one, since any effort to get you to admit you were wrong about anything is wasted time.
