:lol:  yeah, like being the central figure in an FBI investigation in which they admit any other government employee would have been fired and probably criminally charged is 'nothing'.   Hillary has so much dirt on her going back to collecting FBI files on political enemies, to firing career employees to be replaced with cronies, to renting out the White House for political contributions, and selling political influence out to the highest bidder since her husband has left office.  It is really pathetic that these are our choices.

That's about all I care about. I don't think any candidate or Party really has a chance of actually lowering my taxes. So, from my perspective, let's just get some social liberals on the SC and maybe some people open to taking a reasonable look at marijuana laws elected to State jobs, and call it a day.

Disgusting that this is politicized.  For 40 years, the woman has mantained her claim.  As a wise woman once was, rape victims deserve to be believed.  It doesn't parse with reality that she'd adamantly maintain her claim for nearly forty years if it were false.  It does parse that a rape victim goes through stages of fear, confusion, guilt, shame and instability.  

 
Really pass me off that that the media sat on this Acess Hollywood tape, and apparently there is more/worse. They'll lie and say it was just discovered, but it lends credence to the claims that the media is in the bag for Hillary.  This should have been released prior to the primary voting.  Instead, give us no choice and play chicken with Trump as President.  This election cycle is a travesty.

NBC sat on this for 10 years? Yet they loved the guy as a star, gave him 3 million a year for The Apprentice and generally treated him like politictainment in their news, then someone (we don't know who) decided to leak out now.

I just edited my post above. However it's not clear at all that NBC was going to run a story on it at all, they just say that now.

Trump was a key star in the NBC lineup. And Bush is on Today.

Yes.  You believe everything in a Fallon talking point.  Was just found, for sure Tim. As is everything else that George Stepanopolous said this morning on GMA that the media has that's apparently worse.  I guess the networks decided this past week to search their archives for this up and comer "Trump" character.  So now they may find some damning stuff on him.  Seems timely.

They weren't aware of the tapes before. If you want to argue that they SHOULD have been aware, then that's a different point, and I might agree. 

But let's not go down the rabbit hole of yet another conspiracy theory that Mr Ham and people like him are pushing- that the media knew about this all along and planned to release it in order to do maximum damage to get Hillary elected, etc etc. Don't you get tired of this nonsense already?

I answered you in the other thread. Journalism's failures have played a big part in Trump's rise. NBC is a case example IMO.

It's clear that NBC clearly spent time and money to do some digging on every piece of media they had to find something, ANYTHING, on Trump.  I can completely understand that they would do that.

However, I think what can be argued is if they spent as much time and effort vetting Hillary they would also find more.  For example, no one can get the tapes of her speeches to Wall Street?  At all?  It had to leak from Guccifer?  All of the money and resources the media has and no one could track down anyone at the meetings?  Maybe everyone at every single on of those speeches won't talk.  Is that possible?

While at the end of the day I find it interesting the timing of the Trump ##### tape, it is largely irrelevant at the end of the day.  It was going to come out at some point and whether that was this past Friday, two weeks from now or several months ago doesn't change the fact of what Trump said in the audio. 

Trump didn't see this coming? I'm not sure how he or his team didn't anticipate things getting really ugly as the calendar hit October. The Clintons play to win, I actually think this is a positive.  I just wish Bernie had taking the same approach.

 
Years ago after the Steelers beat Seattle in the Super Bowl I spent several months arguing with people about the refs in that game. It didn't bother me that people thought the refs had made mistakes, but the charge that they had fixed the game deliberately in favor of Pittsburgh bothered me greatly and still does. It was senseless, without evidence. 

Ever since, I've come to realize that some people simply cannot except the role that chance and luck play in our lives. It gives them a sense of insecurity; they would much rather believe that everything is controlled, even if it's secretly controlled and against them.

meh....I doubt there is a single person in this forum that doesn't acknowledge that chance and luck play roles in our lives (well, maybe one or two).  Where people push back is when EVERYTHING is chalked up chance/luck.  There are those, like you, at one extreme who play that card over and over.  There are those at the other end like Ham who can't let chance/luck be a part of the equation and then there are those in the middle that are of the "come on, no one lives that much of a coincidental life....enough is enough".

I never said that I don't think Hillary is a POS. Personally, I think Hillary should be tried for her crimes and punished accordingly.

But that's not related to my point, which is that I encourage you to continue in your belief that Sarah Palin/Donald Trump is no worse than Hillary Clinton. :thumbup:

How's this even a comparable situation? Did we ever uncover any evidence of the NFL suggesting to refs to to tilt the game as best they could against Seattle? Cause we do have actual evidence of that within the DNC. It's been confirmed that it was secretly controlled and tilted against Bernie and his supporters.

It's unfathomable to me that Hillary's paid speeches leaked and she said overtly that she maintains a public face and a private one for back door dealing.  She broadcast that her intent to keep public records private and destroy records is part of her political philosophy which is makes people "uneasy to say the least" - and so must be hidden.  

We are supposed to be a Republic, with a government representative of all of our People.  Hillary fundamentally represents an oligarchy or corporatocracy, which is not consistent with our nation's charter.  

This election comes down to that agenda, and that she's lied so shamelessly while pursuing it.

Watch the video.  She felt guilty, as rape victims do. She felt responsible for decades.  And she was fearful and threatened.  Plus, she's one of about 20 accusers.  

I don't start with the position of defending Trump btw.  As far as I'm concerned, I think both Trump and Bill raped underage women as part of the Epstein ring.  To hell with both of them, and Hillary for enabling Bill.  

Watch the video.  She's telling the truth.  Makes absolutely no sense that 40 years on someone would lie with such attention to detail and raw emotion.  It happened.
