Yeah if I disagree with Hillary I must be supporting Trump. Wrong again. I don't support either. Sorry your candidate has said things that undermines your defense.

I was right on Iraq and sadly I'm pretty sure I'll be right here as well.

Right I am completely irrational. She has said she wants a more muscular foreign policy. That means more military interventions. She has said Obama's foreign policy is silly. Obama is also against the no fly zones by the way. And if you read the first post before you jumped in we were talking about both no fly zones and safe zones which Hillary has said she wants. BTW you don't need planes to kill people on the ground. As ISIS proves daily.
There's a lot to it, that's for sure!  What's your quick fix?  Sounds like you have something, since you've completely picked apart your own Clinton fantasy

You said what you said about no fly zones and I disagreed with that.  I don't know how to fix ISIS, or Russia.  I trust Hillary more than Trump.

Why would we ask questions of the Bush administration about Iraq to determine the answers for those same questions with regard to Syria?  Incidentally, NCC is asking these questions AGAIN like he and a few others did with Iraq.  My guess is, the government won't ask those questions of themselves with Syria just like they didn't with Iraq.....SSDD.
The partisans can't help themselves Commish.  Obamacare is now the Republican plan and every thing else is Bush's fault, including the Jews migrating to Middle East.

NOPE. Ground troops are not a requirement for a no fly zone: http://www.defenseone.com/ideas/2015/05/everything-you-need-know-about-no-fly-zones/111898/

Enforcing a no-fly zone usually requires a large amount of military forces, including aircraft, the operators who fly them, and support personnel to protect and maintain them. Unless the no-fly zone is relatively small, it will take multiple flying units operating different kinds of aircraft.
We have so overstretched ourselves, now add Russia. It's not our table anymore. Hillary's policies on Syria are once if my concerns.

I mostly agree with your sentiment. The Iraq situation in 2001 and the Syria situation in 2016 are pretty different though. We wouldn't be inventing a conflict from whole cloth, there's one well under way where people are getting annihilated daily. What would a good U.S. policy for this situation look like? I don't have that answer myself, I'm genuinely curious.

If only there was a recent eight year period of history we could look at to gauge the potential level of Clinton "hawkishness", or propensity to get into unwinnable situations

Just read on slashdot that pretty much all Podesta's accounts have been hacked due to personal/account info not redacted from the wikileaks material. Through that hackers have gotten into iCloud accounts using his credentials and pulled down personal information for multiple Democrat big wigs (Biden, Pelosi, Reid, etc.). 4chan is going nuts with this stuff.

The only reason your info hasn't been hacked is because no one's tried to do it yet. There are vanishingly few people using networked devices who would be hard targets for this kind of thing.
I hear you, but these are people with access to the best IT in the country. Have to do better than a gmail plus G+ with a password that probably is some referable name.

So weird.  All the Hillary people are in the Trump thread bashing Trump.  And all the Hillary haters (not Trump supporters, of course) are in the Hillary thread bashing Hillary.  What has this election turned us into?

When are the Republican big wigs emails going to be released?

Not really, the usual suspects here pretty much disappeared after the #####Gate tape was aired, combined with the debate that almost all scientific polls found that Hillary won. And we now have a half dozen women accusing him of the same behavior he has bragged about on Access Hollywood and Howard Stern (and even his staunchest supporters have trouble defending that).

Not if you look at Obama's most recent approval rankings.
A bag of #### would have the same approval ratings against the backdrop of the two worst candidates ever in modern history.

Obama's approval rankings have only recently ticked up.  Let's not pretend he was killing it the last 3 years, because he wasn't.

Not true, but carry on.

Obama definitely looks better in comparison v. the two turds. He beat Hillary in 08 for a reason. She had the superdelegate rig going on back then too. And Obama makes Trump look like Hugh flippin Hefner. So it's true, he looks better in comparison.

Poor Max. Can't argue with the numbers of Obama's popularity...tsk, tsk...
You don't make one lick of sense.  Maybe you should stick to the mindless posting of other people's tweets.

You are such a lying jerk.  You should run away with this years D-F award.  Good luck with that.
Everyone knew what a lying jerk Zimmerman was except you and his Mom.  You defended everything he did and said and you still do. Shame on you.

No kidding.  I think I need to come over here where there appears to be intelligent life.  Talking to the knuckle draggers on the Trump board is a lost cause.

Well let's start here shall we?

Clinton singled out, as she often would, the United Nations climate-change meeting in Copenhagen the previous December, where she and Obama worked together to save the meeting from collapse. She brought up the Middle East peace process, a signature project of the president’s, which she had been tasked with reviving. But she was understandably wary of talking about areas in which she and Obama split — namely, on bedrock issues of war and peace, where Clinton’s more activist philosophy had already collided in unpredictable ways with her boss’s instincts toward restraint. She had backed Gen. Stanley McChrystal’s recommendation to send 40,000 more troops to Afghanistan, before endorsing a fallback proposal of 30,000 (Obama went along with that, though he stipulated that the soldiers would begin to pull out again in July 2011, which she viewed as problematic). She supported the Pentagon’s plan to leave behind a residual force of 10,000 to 20,000 American troops in Iraq (Obama balked at this, largely because of his inability to win legal protections from the Iraqis, a failure that was to haunt him when the Islamic State overran much of the country). And she pressed for the United States to funnel arms to the rebels in Syria’s civil war (an idea Obama initially rebuffed before later, halfheartedly, coming around to it).

For all their bluster about bombing the Islamic State into oblivion, neither Donald J. Trump nor Senator Ted Cruz of Texas has demonstrated anywhere near the appetite for military engagement abroad that Clinton has.
That is from an NYT article entitled " How Hillary became a hawk'. Might want to go read it. Claims she was even to the right of Gates, you know the Republican, on these matters.

Or you can keep pretending.

This is very fair. Yes it is different. Today. When we are on the ground it will be the same quagmire.

And you know I'm not sure either. But I don't think the right thing is to ratchet up our military presence. I think that is a match into the gun powder. It's what Putin wants. He wants an excuse and I am scared to death that Hillary will give him one.

Maybe there are some things we just can't fix with a gun. Maybe we can't fix them at all. And that does suck.

I am an equal opportunity basher. In both threads.

This isn't true. jon started off as thinking Zimmerman was guilty, then changed his mind and decided he was innocent. I had a LOT of fights with jon mx in that thread, and I thought some of his later assumptions were quite ridiculous, but let's keep the record straight.

I am keeping it straight and I have never forgotten his complete and unequivocal defense of George Zimmerman's testimony and we are talking like every single day the last 6-9 months of the thread.

Zimmerman did not testify you #######.
You based it on his out of court testimony as being 100% completely factual and the complete truth. Shame on you as it was all confirmed later what a piece of scum he was and still is.

No I did not.  My opinion of the case was based on the facts, not with what Zimmerman said or did not say.  I never defended Zimmerman as a person, and always said he was scum.  But he deserved equal treatment under the law.

On the facts, according to Zimmerman.

WTF are you talking about?  Forget it.  I don't even want to know.
You believed Zimmerman's account 100% and disbelieved anything said in Trayon's defense 100%. It was obvious to most people what a piece of crap Zimmerman was, but you defended him and did everything but praise him for shooting Trayvon.

Tim already called you out as lying, and he is on your side.  You are 100% full of crap besides going out of your way to be a dirtbag and talk about something that has nothing to do with anything.

Hillary did a good job today letting the surrogates make her case. Bernie, Michelle, Barack and Joe Biden will drive this thing home for her after one more debate performance by the candidate. TV ads in the battleground states. She stays above the fray, and it's over.

Oh, oh...Texas may be in play after the latest #####gate reaction sets in...
