Man, this Wikileaks stuff is just brutal.  Have you guys seen this one

What an embarrassment for Clinton. I know we all love to talk about how awful both these candidates are, but I bet you'd never catch Donald Trump doing anything like that!

UNCLASSIFIED U.S. Department of State Case No. F-2014-20439 Doc No. C05764904 Date: 07/31/2015 RELEASE IN PART B5,B6

First of all this isn't a wikileaks "hack", this is from the Foia release.

Secondly yeah public records should work this way. Note this is a public record and it shows Hillary in a great light. It's also MARKED unclassified.

This caught my eye though:

- Why is Hillary cc'ing back to another email address which she claims she stopped using when she became SOS?

Regarding the conversation between SiD and TF....has there been a leak of information that I am unaware of?  Was browsing the "propaganda" conversation...what was leaked?

Clinton's go from financially broke after Bill's presidency to having "$1/4 billion now". But they don't make anything or sell anything except their access/speeches?  Seems  like a lot of money for two government employees.
Seems legit. My dad was a colonel in the Air Force and he has...generous benefits and a pension. Oh, never mind. Yeah, something doesn't add up there.

Um, my "sarcasm" was suggesting that GOD Him/Her/Itself was in on the rigging... unless Mother Nature went rogue and didn't consult with him/her/it first.

Didn't think I needed to actually label that as sarcasm... rest assured though, I've reached out to God to clarify, but only got voicemail.  (that's also sarcasm)
Got it, but you have been on a roller coaster with your posts over the past couple of days.

Funny I had a similar response, just not so colorful. Those of us not supporting the top of either party's ticket are ###holes? I'm not big on name calling, but I think if you're fervently supporting either of these characters, well shame on you.
I think you should be ashamed of yourself if you vote for Trump and I can only think you are doing so because you lack intelligence to understand the threat Trump poses or are an ###hole who doesn't care about the well being of the country.

CNN, WSJ, NYT and Fox have come out with stories about the Hillary national security and Foundation investigations and the McAuliffe and Weiner investigations, and much of it is sourced from unnamed sources.

Tobias is out of the convo but what he implied was that the reporters weren't propagandists they were just willing tools for propagandists from the FBI, so that's much better.

First time I have ever seen that ad. All I see in Ohio is how corrupt Hillary is. Which I agree with, but it's  :potkettle: coming from Donald.
I find my thought being "you're no better" every time I see one of these negative ads this cycle....doesn't matter which candidate it comes from and is a stark reminder of where we are as a country.

Gotcha...thanks.  You guys have fun in that rabbit hole ;)

Even the ones about Trump's misogyny and sexual assaults?  You don't think Clinton is any better than that?  Is there a video of her bragging about grabbing strangers by the johnson somewhere that I don't know about?

No yeah or no no?
Hell no.

I don't like Hillary by any stretch (Barack and Bernie primary voter), but she's a competent person who could do the job, and Trump is a buffoon. I actually liked Donald more as an entertainer before I heard how he talks about women. Can't have that, for my daughter, for my wife, for anyone. As President? C'mon. She's corrupt, emails, poor judgement sometimes, I know. Trust me, I know.

No roller coaster... just frustrated with the amount of garbage and noise that is distorting very legitimate underlying issues, upon which our collective future rests.

If anything, I've been pretty consistent in my thoughts, at least from when I pivoted half a year or so ago from being part of the bomb lobbing anti-Hillary crowd (guess it was more like a year ago... was bad enough that the right was manufacturing and buying into this ####. When Bernie and his berners began to do the same, and now I'm seeing it from way right of me to way left, I simply had enough).

Haven't seen those here

ETA:  And if I had, this speaks to character and judgment.  While her character and judgment are ok as it pertains to these specific examples, there are other reasons her character and judgment should be scrutinized.

I hear you!

Hilldog needs to start hitting the gym.  Her bottom looks no bueno in her many pantsuits.  She keeps it up and Bill's gonna develop a wondering eye.

The more Hillary emails I read, the more I'm convinced she will make an excellent president. She actually knows what she's talking about. A Trump email would just say "Do something terrific, make it great again."
Weird.  The more I read, the more I feel that her own staff doesn't think very highly of her abilities and judgment.

Gotta love the liberal LEFT. the liberal tolerant name calling LEFT.

Dems rigged the World Series. Inside polling showed that Trump supporters are more likely to be baseball fans, and Cleveland losing the series will suppress GOP voter turnout in Ohio. #Rigged
Never thought about it but now I'm glad the Indians lost in such an embarrassing way for the state going for Trump.

Agreed.  Considering her own ethical shortcomings, it's absolutely disgraceful.
It's anything goes time for Hillary...she is a time bomb right now...one more shoe drops on her and we're gonna have a fantastic Jim Mora/Alen Iverson moment...

I live in NM and I supervise approx 250 employees.  Being in NM I would say that approx 75% of those employees are "Latino" of "Hispanic" and 75% of those are male..

During the Obama elections, I would safely say that just about everyone I supervise were for Obama.  If anyone in the lounge spoke against Obama, they were chastised and shut up.

THIS YEAR it is exactly the same...except they are in favor of Trump.  These "Latino" employees absolutely hate Hillary

Believe it not, people of the "Hispanic" persuasion put a huge priority on truth and HONESTY.  They expect it from their family members and especially from their children.  They look at Hillary as the one person that they do not want their daughters to emulate.

Oh...and don't tell me that I don't know what I'm talking about.  I grew up in NM.  I know and am friends with many more Hispanics than any other people, and I am married to one.
Why shouldn't I believe you? Of course all the polling about Latinos, including those in NM, are completely the opposite of what you've written here, but I'll take your word over the mainstream media and Latinos themselves every time. Why not?

You are correct...until Donna Brazile, George Stephanopoulos and the New York Times confirm it it can not be true...

Simply put ... Just because a few Latinos are voting for Trump, then it's a representation to the entire group. Nobody cares about scientific polling, Tim.

"I have a gay friend, therefore I'm not homophobic."

It's a judgement on an immediate experience, even if data proves otherwise. This is Trump's basis for claiming the election is rigged. "I have a black person come to my rally ... so therefore, blacks support me in large numbers" (even though polls show otherwise).

Very hard to activate your glute muscles when you need to be carried up stairs.

Really, what's he wondering about? What might have been?

All these people can take their arrogant bull#### and shove it. Maher too. It's not that I don't know enough about Hillary it's that I know too much and that they ignore too much. Electing this corrupted politician doesn't make you an adult or smart or cool. it just makes you part of the ####### problem. One thing about this election it's really making me dislike a lot of people.
Agreed.  You have to question the candidate's political instincts when even her campaign manager questions her political instincts.

Sure, people can argue that Podesta was talking about Clinton's campaigning instincts rather than her instincts to adequately perform as President, but don't the situations in Syria, Libya, and Egypt and Clinton's talk of a promising Arab Spring  as Secretary of State suggest that her foreign policy instincts may also be lacking?

I suppose he shouldn't have called him a thug and thrown him out then...

;)

Nasty Nate has Trump at over a 33% chance of winning this thing. Will probably be a coin flip by the weekend.

It is a lot of money.  Even more ridiculous when you see the money thrown to the Clinton Fondation as well.  I'm sure they do a lot of good things, but the end doesn't justify the means.  People/organizations/governments are buying influence from the Sec of State and potential POTUS with those speaking fees and donations.  It is not ethical and calls into question what motives Hillary would have as President.  Looking at the lists of hiring and donating organizations is pretty unsettling.

And then you have to realize that the alternative is Donald freaking Trump.  A real estate mogul turned reality TV star who is best known for firing people and making ridiculous claims.

God help us.  The more I think about it the more I'm convinced that Gary Johnson is the only decent option right now.  I don't know if he'd be any good, but he sure wouldn't be as bad as these two people.  It sucks because he has no chance.

I'm so frustrated with this.  I'm mad at the Trump voters, the DNC and the media; a lot of people have messed this whole situation up for the country.

You are conflating their personal income with the CGI funds and they're just not the same. Regarding their personal wealth, from Forbes:

Big bucks on the talk and book circuit: Since returning to the private sector, Hillary Clinton has followed Bill Clinton’s path. She has documented her activities extensively. She pulled in a reported $14 million advancefor her memoir of the Obama era, Hard Choices. In 2013, Hillary gave 36 speeches for about $8.5 million, most at about $225,000 a pop, to customers such as Goldman, Sachs and Fidelity Investments. The same year, Bill gave 34 talks for $10.22 million. The couple’s 2014 tax return listed combined income of a whopping $28 million. President Clinton earned $8.44 million (net) from speaking, and more than $6 million from consulting, while Hillary earned a net $8.7 million from speaking and $4.6 million from her books.
