Thank you for stepping right into this!

1. MOST IMPORTANT: Donald Trump not only used a slang term to describe a woman's private, but he also used it in context of bragging about sexual assault.

2. Donald Trump is running for president. You are not. You have no influence, or power. My daughter will not turn on the tv and hear you brag about sexual assault. Would you brag about sexual assault to the 4 voting age women in your household? (Which is weird by the way, but whatever. Why do you have 4 voting age women in your house?)

3. You can say beavers ... But, how do you know the reasoning behind my name? Maybe I'm an alumn of the Oregon St Beavers. Or, maybe my high school mascot was a beaver. Or maybe I'm from Beavercreek, OH. You're assuming it's slang.
Opie is clearly an alias set on trolling. Just ignore.

538 has Hillary at 64% but that's because they now have Trump (barely) winning Nevada, North Carolina, and Florida.

I strongly doubt this. I think Hillary is going to take all 3.

Well, if #3 were true..THAT would have been your original answer.

If you claim #1, then you can degrade women....as long as your aren't bragging about it.

If you are claiming #2 than degrading women is acceptable...as long as you don't have influence or power.

And yes...I have 1 wife and 3 daughters...My wife and one daughter live at home.  One daughter lives on her own, while the other is married.  Three of these women (my wife and two of my daughters have had children....and ALL of these women have already cast their votes for Trump.  Each one of these four women have college degrees and each one of these four woman can take care of themselves when it comes to men trying to degrade them.  All four of them have a conceal carry license and NONE of these four women have ever aspired to be the leader of an international crime syndicate. (that I know of)

Each one of these four women have claimed that, although they can push a child out of their ######s....they can't vote with it.

1. Nope. Not acceptable to degrade women. And it's never acceptable to brag about sexual assault.

2. Once again, not okay to degrade women. Especially if you're the POTUS.

3. Again, you're assuming. I was very vague for a reason ... I knew what you wanted, but wanted to make you look like an idiot. And I've succeeded.

Ok, I am curious enough to ask - why do you use beavers as a username?

I don't know if this is really fair to apply to the conspiracy theorists digging into the wikileaks stuff, but one of the most consistently funny things to watch over the last couple years is how the people who whine the most about political correctness always seem to have hair-triggers when it comes to their outrage. They ridicule some 19 year old kid complaining about rape culture or transgender rights and then turn around and throw a months-long hissy fit about Hillary Clinton calling racists and xenophobes "deplorable."
The deplorable thing was awful.  It's Clinton's 47%

However you are spot on, in general.  I mean, bragging about how you can molest women is just guy talk, but they highlight mean, bitey and #####y sentences from emails as if that's the highest offense. Still shouldn't happen, but the magnitude of the difference in offenses is huge - 'UGE even.

You should probably cancel that Election Party.  We are going to need you here on Tuesday night.

Look, beavers are magnificent creatures, can we just clear the air on this? They're nature's carpenters for one thing.

All you guys being hard on the beavers, please stop it right now.

Hell...I LOVE beavers.  They are soo cute (when younger).  When I see one, I just want to walk up and GRAB it!

Do call your penis by any other name?  You are sexist if you do.
I call my penis Sinn Fein...

But, I see no harm in asking the question, which is better than continuing to make assumptions.   If she does not want to share, that fine too.

For the record, I use Sinn Fein because i used to support a known terrorist group, and the violent overthrow of the British from Ireland.  I have used it for many years as it was unique enough to always be available 10+ years ago.  Now, I still support the unification of Ireland, but recognize violence is not always the best way forward...

I have considered retiring the username and moving to one of my aliases - but I am too lazy.

Superlike.

The sheer audacity of the insensitivity, is mind bogglingly frustrating - and flat out upsetting. Hadn't we as a society become better than that? And yes, I know it's some minority in terms of the ugliest voices... but perhaps a much larger minority than I had wanted to admit was really there.  Permeates with a far greater reach than I recognized.
:lmao:

CALL THE AMBER LAMPS!!

Stay tune for our FBI-DoJ #PodestaEmail special circa 4pm EST. -wikileaks

Two polls today showing New Hampshire tied. A New Hampshire win opens up the possibility of the electoral college win despite the popular vote loss, something I've been worried about for a while now. I suspect that's what is feeding the dropping number more than anything.

I'm not sure about North Carolina- the NC GOP's openly racist efforts to stymie black voters there are a real problem.  And Florida looks like a coin toss. But I do agree with you about Nevada, and 538 does too.  They've been tracking the early vote stuff and have pointed out that their projection there is poll-based only, does not account for early voting numbers which have been excellent for Clinton.  If she wins Nevada that cancels out a potential New Hampshire loss.

Still would be nice to see Sanders pay a weekend visit to NH on her behalf, though.

Yeah.  In NC, I'm doubting we're even going to McCrory out of office.  HRC may still win despite the recent drop, but the down-tickets are not doing well.

I tried.  Added him yesterday, and every time I refresh the page, it stops ignoring him until I go delete then readd him to the ignore list.  Oddly, this doesn't happen for squistion, who I also added yesterday.

Don't worry.  Opie will get banned again soon.  Maybe a mod will check in and recognize him as the same guy who gets a new username every month or so.

It appears we're headed to 2000 all over again.

Interesting comment from Pelosi - in response to some crazy GOPers throwing out impeachment ideas:

“In addition to there being no grounds for impeachment to begin with, moving to impeach President Hillary Clinton for alleged activities from before the election would be a brazen attempt to nullify the vote of the American people, outside our constitutional framework and destructive to the Framers’ intent,” Pelosi said in a statement.

I think its interesting in that the Dems clearly don't want the notion that Clinton is under investigation to be part of the conversation pre-election, and if the FBI finds evidence sufficient to prove the case post election, Pelosi apparently does not think that is relevant either.  So, its relevant before the election, but we should not talk about it.  We can talk about it post election, but its not relevant?

I'm not totally sure.  My other hope is that the current polling numbers reflect data largely from a couple days ago (that's what polls do obviously) when this FBI nonsense was fresher in everyone's mind and that she's hopefully going to regain some momentum.  There's usually been a trend that whenever Trump gets close people pull their heads out of their rear ends and remember how awful he is and Clinton regains the momentum, although the last few times there were conventions and debates to remind them.

That + the possibility that her superior GOTV operation will give her a bump are the only two things I've got left, honestly. If neither of those things comes through it definitely looks like a 2000 repeat is a possibility.

There's demographics as well...if she is pulling 67% of the Hispanic vote, is winning (pick your percentage) college educated whites, and keeps 85% of the black vote, he has to win the non-educated white vote close to 30-40% in some of these states to win.  Can that happen sure, but it's highly unlikely.

Plus winning NV means NH is superfluous.  If it is close, we'll be waiting around for Philly and Detroit to report though.

I still don't think the Comey letter has made any real difference at all, EXCEPT for the fact that it has taken Trump out of the spotlight, which helps him whenever that happens. I think you're correct and that she surges this weekend as people remember who it is they might be voting for.

The 67% of Latinos is the number I'm hoping for the most. Even beyond Trump, Republicans have got to learn the lesson that unless they go along with some kind of amnesty for illegal immigrants they're never going to win the White House again. Until their nativism blows up in their faces we'll never get any movement on this issue.

:lmao:   Hope springs eternal

Remember....all of the dumps over the weekend will hit the news on Monday...bright & early!
