I was accused of fishing in Aug 2015 when I said "no way in hell" candidates like Nixon in '68, Reagan in '80, and W in '00 were what the GOP got elected.  And that Trump was more like those guys then the losers like Dole, McCain, Romney.   Hadn't brought it back up since other than to say that Trump put states in play that the "generic GOP" candidate would not.  Sure wish I was trolling,  Wish I was wrong about this even being a possibility.
