We were given two of the worst POTUS candidates in history. It's a given that those that nominated them and blindly supported them are hypocrites. You, Tim, and few others in the thread are the poster children of this truth. The Trump thread has them as well.

First off, I haven't had much choice with carbon tax. If Obama had made that a priority in 2012 I would have voted for him. The last candidate to make it a priority was John McCain in 2008, and I supported him until Palin. Bernie was for it, but not as a priority issue. 

I am not in favor of wealth redistribution. BIG doesnt do that. It's a replacement for welfare programs and probably more efficient.

Truth is, (and I guess I'm consistent about this,) I'm indifferent to it. If Trump wants to be corrupt, I don't really care so long as he is a good President- which I hope for but don't expect. 

A certain level of corruption is standard in politics and has been forever. It's never been a huge issue for me- not with Hillary, not with Trump or anybody else. I don't care much about hypocrisy either. My concerns are: what do you do that makes society prosper, or suffer?

Even today, police violence against blacks is standard and has been forever. 

I'm sorry, Tim, but corrupt in government is wrong, and we shouldn't accept it anymore than we should accept any social injustices. We shouldn't stick our head and sand and say "Meh, that's just the way things are".

If you can fight it, be my guest. I've never said I was for corruption. It's just not a huge priority for me. 

Slavery caused the suffering of millions of people so I don't find that a good analogy.

Do you not understand how computers work? The URL appears at the bottom of the screen, people from 1-80 seem to understand this. I'm guessing there is a computer class at a local community college you could take. Here's what it links to:

More than a dozen watchdog organizations penned a letter to Trump on Thursday, urging him to create a true blind trust or liquidate the assets. (Under a blind trust, an independent trustee with no familial ties would manage the properties.)

“Failure to follow this course of action will create conflicts of interest of unprecedented magnitude,” groups including Common Cause wrote.

Rep. Katherine M. Clark (D-Mass.) introduced a bill this week that would require presidents to take similar steps.

Voting for people who will do less about climate change than their opponents is also another example of how you don't really support policies that get rid of the negatives of trade.

Like the rest of these free trade true believers, you're not willing to address the negatives associated with our current trade deals.  you're  just an  useful tool of plutocracy, same as always

 
Also, I used BIG as an example of wealth redistribution.  so, if you have your own custom definition of BIG, just focus on that piece.  Because you do not favor policies or vote for politicains that address inequality. Full stop.

By the way....a "Hillary Hater" has to approve of Donald's behavior but rip Hillary for hers to be a hypocrite.  I want a show of hands here of all the people who were ripping Hillary for this behavior but approve of it under Trump....TIA.  If there are none, that's being consistent not a hypocrite.

LOL.   if they think renting a floor at a trump resort is gonna get them access,  They  are morons.   That boat has sailed, if it was ever in port. 

They should go ask Clinton foundation for a refund.    but that would be commingling of funds and the clintons give money back.

The bolded is abunch of garbage. They found 34 (give or take a couple) emails, half of those classified only to NOFORN (the lowest level of classification, of which CAN legally be discussed with ANY citizen). Then, without looking at the specific emails, you're assuming that a large quantity of information was exposed...a truly terrible assumption. A simple reference to a secret meeting could make a document classified. A single reference in a single line of a 10 page email could cause the document to become classified. Claims of huge quatities of classified material falling into the wrong hands are ridiculous. Without looking at the specific 34 emails in question, there is simply no way to know.

I love when people defend Clinton's email situation.  We will never know what was on thousands of those emails since they were deleted.  Having her own server was no accident.

Gee, I wasn't aware Trump related subject matter can only be brought up in one thread. Seems to me Hillary's emails were not discussed exclusively in this thread, but I could be mistaken.

It wasn't brought up here and I don't read everything in the Trump as compulsively as some (and 3-4 pages sometimes are added since my most recent log in).  And of course, over the duration of this thread people have commented on "news" critical of Hillary that had raised and linked ad nauseam, yet rarely any complaints about that from the anti-Hillary crowd.
