They seem to outsmart everyone else in the league...

Their coach is a total jerk, completely unlikeable...

For years, they've had a undeserved image of being one of the most humble, classy organizations in football, yet there are numerous examples of how they gloat and play dirty on different occasions...

They take a total scumbag like Moss, and he's probably having his greatest season, which only makes me hate him (and them) more...

If they win this year (and damnit, they probably will) they will be considered alongside the Steelers and the 49ers as one of the greatest football dynasty of all time, and I hate that too...

Is this how Yankee haters used to feel during their heyday?

from now on, I am rooting for whoever plays the Patriots!!

Will it do me any good?

This will cause cause you more hate and anguish because they will win nearly every time. Bad strategy.
 
Take it from a Sox fan and Yankee hater, hating them will just aggravate you more since they'll just keep on winning. At least it's not as bad as the yanks (IMO), there's a salary cap in football.

That's another thing I hate. How is it that they seem to never be affected by the salary cap, when everybody else is? It doesn't seem to matter who they lose, they just keep on playing great football. It's infuriating!!
 
what has moss ever done to be considered a scumbag? The guy is a competitor and wants to win. Put him in an abysmal franchise and he's miserable...there's a real shocker. Put him with winners and he plays like one. I'd take him on my team without hesitation.

You've got to be kidding, right? Do you remember his act in the last few years at Minnesota, even before he got to Oakland? And even if he hated being a Raider, he was pulling down a huge paycheck, more than most of us will ever earn. And he didn't put out. Lots of players are on lousy teams, but they continue to play hard no matter what. I despise guys who go through the motions. Farve's been on lots of bad teams over the last few years, do you think he ever acted like Moss in his life? Moss is a total scumbag, you want him, you can have him. Patriot fans that root for Moss are total whores. I hope he breaks his leg...

Yes. If you deliberately give less than 100% (a LOT less, in the case of Moss as a Raider), if you are pulling down millions of dollars and don't do you best on purpose, you are a scumbag.

Running into a police officer with your car on purpose does. So does squirting a ref with a water bottle. And leaving the field with a game your team needs to win to make the playoffs still in doubt. etc.The guy is obviously a great player, when he wants to be, but he is a scumbag. Plenty of other NFL players are, too.

My point remains:

Leonard Little is a Scumbag. Pacman Jones is a Scumbag. Chris Henry is a Scumbag.

Randy Moss is not.
