I like Reed, but not quite as much as Eifert. I'll need to see something from Green before I value him that highly. Especially with Gates experiencing a bit of a career resurgence.

i am always a fan of consolidating multiple players into a stud. To be honest I have Brandon Marshall, Antonio Brown, and Roddy White and I only have to start three. I didn't need Harvin and AJ is fantastic but he isn't Megatron. Trent pisses me off every week and I had him in two leagues. Killing me with his Leroy Hoard impersonation.

Yeah they key is here is consolidating multiple B-level players into a stud. Not trading 3 studs for 1 stud.

That's fine. I respect your right to make that trade, it's your roster. But two things:
1. I think if the dynasty community as a whole could somehow be polled, you'd be in the vast, vast, vast minority on this.
2. I'd be shocked if that trade didn't cause an eruption of outrage in your league.

Green was the #3 WR last season. Calvin isn't always going to have historical 2,000 yard seasons.
Don't get me wrong, I've got Calvin as my #1 WR for the foreseeable future. You just gave up a ton for a minimal upgrade.
I highly doubt you make this trade if Green wasn't having a slow start to the season. Which makes it incredibly short-sighted.

It's a shame you had to give Cameron, but other than that I like it for you. You won everywhere else, and Eifert isn't a big step down when you already have Graham, Julius, and only one flex spot.
I can't imagine you lose much.

Really tough trade since I have them close long term but Marshall's schedule is far better than Fitzgerald's and he has an NFL caliber QB throwing him the ball. Fitzgerald was likely going to be on my bench most weeks.

Only way this works out for you is if Gronk's injury ends up being career threatening, and even in that case it's not a huge win. If Gronk plays again though (which I assume he will), then I'd much rather have that side.
Valid point and I agree it's a risky trade. However I'm banking on Gronk not returning to his pre multiple injury form (of course I don't wish him ill will by any means). I like Harvin, but he too has a litany of injuries and has missed a ton of time. Andre is great, but also on the downside of his career.
I'm 2x defending champ and TE was my weakest position with Gronk's injury and Hernazdez in prison. I wanted to make a play for the best TE in game and give me a better chance at a 3-peat, so I was okay moving these pieces.

I hate it. Graham is unbelievable but he can't sustain this level. Gronk was better then Graham pre injury. Even if Gronk is only 80 percent of what he was, you shouldn't have to pay Harvin and Johnson to make up the difference.

Ok, if I could get Floyd for that price, of course I'm buying. Whatever hype Golden tate had has been snuffed out, Harvin hasn't even been playing and he's clearly in a toss-up with Baldwin and Rice and Kearse. The only hope for Tate was to fill the Harvin roll and fill it well. Again, Michael Floyd for a bag of chips here.

That's quite a gamble. He's recovered from the back procedure before, and the arm is simply a matter of the bone healing. I don't see him being hampered long-term.Tybeeman said:
