OFFICIAL JOSH GORDON DA PATRIOT THREAD (2 Viewers)

Apparently good enough that he'll be practicing and suiting up sunday
that's a great sign. I obviously wouldn't start him until I see how they implement him into the offense, but do you think they give him a deep shot or two this week? Assuming he's healthy enough to go.

Primetime. Need to win. Biggest and best WR he's had since Moss...

I think they'll get him the ball a few times, esp to flex on the move.

^^^ I know what was said.

But it was bad enough that he had to sit sunday, but good enough for a physcial, a trade, and clean MRI on Monday?
It was enough he got on a plane and flew to see a specialist.

Was it bad enough he had to sit Sunday?Recall the first stuff we heard was Hue talking about being cognizant of the Thursday game coming up. At that point I'm not sure they knew some of the other details and were not planning on cutting him. But point is yes he had a hamstring issue but not so severe that Hue was ruling him out of a game 5 days later.

I have zero doubts he had a minor hamstring injury. Zero.

Say man I love and support your shtick/not-shtick but don't just say #### like that without a link to back it up.

I've reported people for less. Actually I haven't but... nevermind it was a whole thing.

New Patriots WR Josh Gordon is healthy enough from his strained hamstring to play Sunday vs. the Lions, per source.

One day someone needs to back and log all your predictions for this guy. My guess is it would be something like 3-420

Bill Belichick might never confirm the Josh Gordon trade.

"You can ask. I can’t … we’ll talk about it when it’s done. If it’s done. When it’s done."

 BB is killing the media. Trade official w the league yesterday, and announced by NE on Monday.

Man doesn't like to talk, does he?

7 catches, 130 yards, 3 TDs.

ON THE FIRST DRIVE!!!!

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

That shtick is pure gold!

My understanding is the holdup in the Josh Gordon trade is related to a tweak in language. Basically, the #Patriots will get a 7th-round pick back from the #Browns. Should be done soon.

yet made official by both teams and the league.

Aaaaaaand, why would you have seen that? Better yet, don't answer I really don't want to know.

:X
I wish I had a witty response, but he's really the only I guy I could think of that wore 10 as a WR in NE or anywhere, really. If Gordon can make 10 work as a wide receiver like Favre made 4 as a QB, then hot damn, Mississippi, we are coming down to Glanville Land!

"Fired up, yet Mississippi?! Only way you get off this bench is if these boys die!"

Or something paraphrased like that.

Total Glanville lunacy. Hotlanta has always been a place and thank God I can stop rambling because I have an appointment in about half an hour.

Is it weird that I want Gordon to drop or reel in a 50 + yard touchdown or drop that pass? By the way I will be there for my first professional football game ever!!!

Sooooooo... Starting him this week?
I'm an underdog in my fantasy matchup - so I have him in my flex this week with the hope he goes off big. If he doesn't there's no one on my bench that's likely to be the difference maker in my fantasy matchup anyway. If I liked my matchup better I may be more conservative.

Santonio Holmes in Pittsburgh & NY. HTH.

Another reason to gamble on Josh Gordon: Since 2017, the #Patriots have not had a WR that averaged over 2 yards per route run, and the two WRs who averaged over 1.5 are no longer with the team. In 2016, Julian Edelman avg 2.4 yds per route run and that was 5th in the league.

Wishing you guys luck!  I hope someone has the stones to pull the trig on starting him this week and he goes off.

This thread is awesome.

DJax when he was Philly wore #10

DJax when he was Philly wore #10
Oh, yeah, and there's an avatar of DJax to remind us of that. My bad. I was just tossing off that phrase, really. Gaffney wore it in NE, if I'm not mistaken.  But let's think of all the great 10's in history...

Like Bo Derek.
