ETA: Dammit, should have read the responses.

I once had a GPS unit get all jacked up, and I couldn't load any language but French Canadian on it.  Voulez vous a trois miles et turnier a droit.  No idea how many of those are misspelled, but I got used to it pretty quickly.

FINALLY got everything working again, including Zen. I did another Stick factory reset, and installed the ARMV7A (32bit) version of Kodi 17 (vs the play store version) directly from the Kodi.tv page, then did the fusion install, then added Exodus and Sportsdevil using Fusion installer, then manually installed Zen via the noonbsandnerds.com/portal source, and it installed all the dependencies.

freakin' lifesaver here - Zen is the ####, beats the snot outta Exodus  :thumbup:  - lotsa other useful addons/tools/repos up in their portal, as well.

Nice concise site of what add-ons are worthwhile and how to add each for Jarvis or Krypton: Kodi Addons

I had Titanium on the FireTV but there was so much noise on that build that I ended up just doing 4/5 of the top add-ons. I'll likely also add Raw Maintenance  unless others know a better option.

Hopefully this helps someone out there.  :suds:

when I was making my own kodi zips I included the supreme builds repo. you don't need to install anything but you can enable it to autoclean your device everytime you launch it. good stuff. I was using different builds (beast etc) where the maintenance feature no longer worked because the project died. supreme builds would auto clean it everytime

 
FYI for Exodus users. If you are still on Kodi 16 and having issues finding viable links you may need to upgrade to 17. I moved to 17 a few months ago and love it but realize there are some still on 16 and thought I'd share this info.

"There has been an increased number of reports about users finding few or no links in Exodus when running Kodi 16.1 and earlier. The reason for this is because file hosts are switching to SSL encryption (Https addresses) and Kodi 16.1 doesn’t not support SSL. There will be no fix for this and if you have Kodi 17 or 17.1, you should see all of the links that Exodus pulls back fine."

Thanks to your help, I've had the "old" Kodi and Titanium build for a few months.

With these new upgrades, you suggest removing my current version of Kodi (how is that done) and starting fresh with the latest Kodi and Titanium build?

  1. In the Fire Stick settings menu, go to Applications, select Kodi, uninstall.
  2. Install Kodi version 17 - go to Youtube to find an installation method. I like Troypoint: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7_QM2zaUwac

looks like a one-stop shop game changer ... saw MLB TV up on there (as per your earlier inquiry) ... also, have you tried Pro Sports?  had all the games last night, and my feeds were outstanding  :thumbup:

no I havnt. I use titanium and just click MLB games  or if I cant find a good stream ill jump into sportsdevil... ill try that out tonight

I saw a cool LOTR movie in that One242415 addon, it was in the adult animated films : heavy metal, aqua teen etc and this LOTR ive never seen before  it was weird animation never seen anything like it

meh, i dig mucking through the clutter - agreed about Zen and Exodus being catch-all for most everything, but, i have a penchant for burrowing deeeeeeeep.

The best part about keeping my DirecTV account live is having all of my live TV and sports handled and then using Exodus mainly for movies or shows on HBO/Showtime/etc (which I just canceled). 

What would be best for UFC PPV events?

ufc finest is pretty good

 
So upgraded to v17 and had to uninstall and reinstall to my firestick. Lost everything and now can't get a single sports stream to work off pro sport, sportdevil, etc. 

What at am I doing wrong? Do I need to add ace streams and/or plexus? I see stuff about that and it rings a bell but I can't remember for the life of me.

i know for acestrams you need a separate addon outsideof  kodi installed. same as plexus i believe

since they are a p2p type thing

Are you using it to access sports streams? I can't get any to load. Movies, tv shows, live streams of channels from other apps all work, but pro sports and sports devil give me nothing. Getting the sports devil error pop up too for some reason.

i have it downloaded but never used ace streams. everything is working fine for me without it.   im watcing sports devil right now

try updating the addon

 
installed One242415, and noodled about for hours ... best interface aspect here is not having to sit through 40 or so scrapes,  or having to go through openpair, etc - there are basically only 2 or 3 streams available for your selection, and they load within a minute - tested out with 'Texas Chainsaw Massacre' and 'Across 110th Street' - both streams were flawless, with TCM being as clear and crisp as any time i've ever viewed it outside a movie house.  tried the latter to see how it handled a more obscure selection, and got pretty much the same result.  

lotta cult and grindhouse and B-movie goodness aswim up in there, all genres which i really dig -  sorted out in categories that make navigating your poison very easy. 

still kicking the tires, and i'm sure updates/tweaks are gonna be popping regularly - enjoying it very much, well worth the add  :thumbup:

 
16 was becoming unuseable, so upgraded to 17.1 last night.  Big improvement so far.  Will try One242415 out next.

the NBA streams are insanely great quality ... too bad i'm not a bball fan :shrug:   but, yeah, every game clear as hell and zero buffer (that's with me still on Jarvis, btw) - hoops junkies gotta be all like  :pickle:

hope this lasts 'til football season - local feeds of all 32 teams will be Gold, Jerry ... GOLD!

 
Made the transition last night using this guide to get Kodi Krypton, and this guide to install Titatnium, then installed Real Debrid using this guide on Kodi and Exodus. Everything worked flawlessly. 

I don't seem to see and Real Debrid links when looking for TV or Movies. is that normal? I still haven't paid but it says Premium : Free on my account so I assumed I was on some trial. is that the case or do I need to pay up?
