**** OFFICIAL **** LOST - The TV Series (1 Viewer)

Watching the end of the stupid Pistons game, what was going on when that lady was handing Michael a list of names?
She was telling Michael that if he freed Henry and brought those 4 people, and only those 4 people, back to the Other's camp, he and Walt could go free.

I guess that is why they showed Michael with a compass. My question is, how would that compass work with that big magnet on the island?

Michael following a plan designed by The Others to free Henry. I still think it's going to be VERY hard to re-habilitate Michael's character should he survive. Even if he was just trying to get his son back, he still killed two innocent people in cold blood.

And then Michael made a point of saying he'd do it but he also wanted the boat.

Thanks, any reason why those 4?

Anyone have any theories on the old wall at the other's camp? Maybe it's related to the Black Rock ship? Possibly used as a hideout for pirates way back in the day?

What a great f'n episode.

I still think Michael has to die in the finale. I don't know how they can rectify his character's actions - even if he was just trying to rescue his son.

I got a kick out of Sawyer trying to bond with Jack for the second straight time in the face of a big moment. "You're the closest thing I've got to a friend" followed by "We get to kill somebody." Classic. :D

Remember how last season Locke seemed to know everything everybody was going through and had just the right words to say? Looks like Eko's got that mojo now based on his conversation with Michael. I wonder if he had another dream which told him what Michael had done.

The Others have realized that Walt has the ability to project himself.

The woman (Miss Cleo was it?) seems to have a prominent role with The Others. But "Zeke" and Henry have both referred to a "him" as being the leader. So far that "him" has yet to be revealed. Could it be Desmond? Or Henry?

meh.

WTF are you looking for? We see the Others' camp and Walt and know what Michael is doing.Man, some people are just impossible to please.

I thought it was a good episode.

Did we finally confirm that the whole thing is a set up - didn't Walt say something like - "they are not who they appear to be, they're pretending!"

Lol. It was Ms. Clue (oddly similar to Mr. Eko)

That probably has to do with them using make up like Kate had found.

Thanks. I haven't gone back to re-watch that and was just guessing. Bad guess. :D I still want to know who the leader of The Others is.

I thought I heard "Clue".
They're gonna need a bigger boat.

Not the same boat we saw before either.
This one was a sailboat.
Yah I heard Clue. But they are REALLY reaching to make everyone associate her with Miss Cleo the psychic. They pick an actress who looks and sounds like her.

Sawyer bonding with Jack near the end of the season is becoming a trend. :D
Bonding? Or some sort of ego/competitive thing? Since Sawyer thought Jack and Kate got it on during their journey, he just had to let Jack know he banged AL. That "closest thing to a friend" was just another of Sawyers sarcasms.

I'd settle for the mind games to settle down some.

Did we finally confirm that the whole thing is a set up - didn't Walt say something like - "they are not who they appear to be, they're pretending!"
I thought the whole Walt reunion stunk of a setup with Walt being in on it. There were a couple of glances that he threw the lady and a couple of reactions she had that made me think that it was all an act to make sure that Michael brought the four back.

It looks like they could be setting up some sort of manly competition between the two. Love triangle in the works?

Maybe Walt is "HIM"!!!!

I thought it was good but I thought it was padded with the flashbacks that we already saw. They did this on the second episode of the season and it wasn't that popular.

I don't think so. I think it came from the heart -- what heart Sawyer has. Last season, it was Sawyer telling Jack about his meeting with his father. That was his parting "gift" if you will. This season, he's telling Jack about nailing Ana-Lucia. Why? Well he has to tell somebody and like Sawyer said Jack's the closest thing he has to a friend (other than Kate who he obviously isn't going to tell this story to). For as much as Sawyer likes being hated and being the outcast I think he also wants to gain Jack's approval because Jack represents many of the things Sawyer isn't and could never attain.

Odd how the camera lingered on what looked like a bombed-out building when Michael was led into the Others' camp. That must mean something. Or not. You never know with this show.

Slow moving episode, but some good insights revealed...

Interesting theory. It also wasn't that long ago on the island that Walt called the island "home" and told Locke he liked it there.

That building and hole was exactly what the Black Rock ship looked like.

Yeah..... I also thought at the beginning it was too convient that Walt knew exactly how to get to the camp when they were typing on the computer. The Others knew exactly where to ambush Michael.

That's not how I read the scene at all. I read it as Cleo threatened Walt with having to stand in the corner or something when Walt started to say things that he was not supposed to, and, like a kid, he shot a nervous glance at the adult and clammed up. It seemed if anything in character.

Who's to say it was Walt on the other end and not an Other setting Michael up?

His face looked a little CGI'd.. maybe they were trying to make him look younger?

In the beginning of the episode, Michael "asked" Walt on the computer where to find him and he told him about the big rock with the hole in the middle.

Ok, I remember that now. Thanks.

Right.... but I thought that in the episode where Walt and Michael initally make contact on the computer there was information passed that would have only been know by the two of them. Stuff like that could have been forced from Walt but it still seemed like Walt looked like he was in on whatever the Others had planned.

She sounds nothing like Ms. Cleo.Stop it.

Anyone see that pile of stuff behind Jack in the previews?

I'll white it out in case it's a spoiler.

I'm pretty sure those were the tubes from the Pearl hatch. I guess they weren't really going anywhere.

dvr mishap screws last 10 minutes or so of the recording. any recap is appreciated as well as what's on next week if it's not too big a deal.

What do you cats make of them knowing Sawyer's given name, instead of his 'nickname'?

I found that pretty amusing.

Also... do you think the bearded dude's group isn't allowed to kill or hurt anybody in their own 'region' on the island? Most of the LOST castaways have been dying or caught on other parts of the island. ...but they send Michael in to do their dirty work.

Also, what do Jack, Sawyer, Kate and Hurley have in common? WHY THEM?

It's because Jack and Sawyer are opposites and Kate and Hurley are opposites. It's like.. dualism.. man. whoa.
