Up to ep 7 now and still loving it. One problem, really the only problem, is Elektra's voice really annoys me for some reason. She's hot as hell though, so I'll deal. ;)

Not exact, but pretty close. In the comics she was Matt's college GF, father was murdered causing her to become an assassin, killed by Bullseye, resurrected as leader of the Hand, comes back to the light.

Yeah, completely different back story (father), something about an alien impostor and then her true destiny something or other.  Not a comic buff, but found that interesting, kind of makes me wish I was.

 
Such a great show.   I was worried this season was going to be corny with the red suit.  But it looks good and actually looks black most of the time, unlike in the ads where it looks cartoony.   Netflix x Marvel seem to really be doing something great with this and JJ and Cage etc.

 
Watched 2 seasons in like 3 days. I can't believe how good this show is. Please tell me I don't have a long wait to season 3. 

Just started Jessica Jones too and that's been pretty decent so far.

Although season 3 hasn't been officially announced, I would assume it would be seen about a year from now. :kicksrock:  

Season 1: April 2015

Season 2: March 2016

Thats the big problem with entire seasons being released at once. It's not taking us 3+ months to watch a season anymore, only 3 days. Makes the wait that much more excruciating.

I don't know if we'll get Daredevil 3 in a years time or not.

Next up is Luke Cage later this year.

Then the Iron Fist show next year is confirmed.

Nothing else is confirmed yet.  They might do Fist in the Spring and Defenders (with all 4) in the Fall maybe.  Or they might do Daredevil 3 this time next year and Fist in the fall.  We probably won't know for a while.

totally bromigo my lady and i sat down and watched daredevel new season like it was our job and now it is done and we are bored and that probably means cleaning the gutters and painting trim for me so all i can say is screw you netflix for not having about nine seasons ready to keep me off of the old honeydo spring chore employment line take that to the bank brochachos

Luke Cage having his own show seems kind of boring and unnecessary with him being in Jessica Jones' show already.

I didn't realize that Iron Fist already had his own show too...is he considered a "good guy"?

Those 3 mentioned by you + Daredevil all good guys who form the Defenders (which will also be a show).

Jessica will almost definitely be present in Luke's show.

 
When Kingpin is eating steak in his prison cell, with his two lackeys at his cell gate, was the classical music being played the same music that played when Hannibal Lecter attacked the guards who were serving him dinner in silence of the lambs? I am pretty sure it was. I kept expecting Kingpin to say "Mind the pictures, please".

 
electra and punisher are totally more cool to me than the devil of hells kitchen bromigos it just is what it is i also do not care about foghat at all i wish that brohan and that karen girl would take a slow ride right out of the show followed by matt and then the show could just be about punisher and electra and maybe they could get to be a super crime stomping butt kicking couple that would be the best outcome in my mind for dardevil take that to the bank bromigos 

 
Watching EP4 S02, 18 min in I noticed Stilt-Man's suit at Melvin's. Wonder if it's an homage or will make an appearance? Personally don't think he'd make a good villain for the show.

I would guess just an homage.  They were in the first season, too, but I think only as plans on his wall or something.

I don't know if it was from there... but I want to say it was the same music he listened to at home each morning when he made his omelet.

 
Just finished season 2.  I'd go along with the stairwell fight being the best of the show.

Didn't care for Elektra early on though she got better once the story got to her being more than just spoiled rich girl.

I thought Punisher telling his story right before he got arrested was just an incredible scene. May have to go back and watch it again.

Think they really knocked it out of the park again.

the punisher prison fight was the best fight for me ...left quite and impression

 
As a non comic fan, I absolutely loved the Punisher part of the season and was not thrilled with the Electra side of it.  

 
Wow just wow. Took me forever to finish but absolutely loved season 2 much better than season 1. I liked Jessica Jones in between them.

 
Finally binge watched this.  Loved it. Now we have to wait until 2018 for more? Bummer.

Onto Jessica Jones and Luke Cage.

 
Finished up season 2 a couple weeks ago and bout to finish JJ tonight. Punisher was incredible. Elektra was crazy. Yet through it all, I love the portrayal of Matt as a good guy that gets tested at every turn with forces both friend and foe threatening his soul.

Love it.  Can't wait to watch defenders now.

I read DD in comics as a kid, but am only now getting into this show.  Mostly through S1 and really like it a lot.

 
Just finished S2 and wow, amazing.   Can't believe how much I love Bernthal as Punisher. Fantastic character.   Going for Punisher next.

You'll really like that one then. A slightly different theme going more on the PTSD angle but they do it really well. Much much gorier though as can be expected of Punisher.

 
S3e4 has the greatest 11 minute sequence in the history of television. There will be whole film school classes taught on this.

Awesome, will watch tonight if the chiefs/Bengals isn't as fun as I think it will be.

So probably tomorrow instead of watching the falcons destroy the Giants.

First two episodes were interesting. I probably would have been better off watching the last episode or two of defenders again before starting DD3. 

I'm sure I wasn't the only one expecting Nadeem to turn.

I watched the same 11 minutes twice in a row last night.  I don’t do that very often. As soon as it ended, rewound to make sure I understood what I’d just seen. 

Spoiler:

From 22:22-33:17 is all one, continuous shot. It puts the hallway fight scene from S1 to shame.  I went back to make sure - all one shot.  Amazing.
