I've made 4 trades so far this year

Melky for A Hill

A LaRoche for A Pagan

J Henderson for A Sanchez

C Headley for E Cabrera

All 4 are on the DL, and looks like I'm going to lose Pagan for the year.

Throw in Hart, Burnett, and Pineda and I don't have any bench spots left(only 3 healthy SP).

Ughhhh

Time to dump Hart for Depth?
What does your bench look like right now? It's possible you need to drop Hart, but there may be other options.

Bench only has one healthy player, and thats because I'm rotating in my 3 healthy SP's.......I'm currently starting 4 closers.

Needing Runs and another starter, I've dropped both Valverde(thank god) and Hart, picking up Cozart and Gee

Team is still in the thick of it.....just don't want to fall to far behind while my team is injured.

haha same as me. Three trades... Greink for granderson before the season, latos for tulo 3 weeks ago, and teheran for gyorko in april

BJ's rolling out Dickey, Wang and Johnson this weekend.
:lmao:
Terrible decision. The competition is too stiff.
What's he supposed to do? He's got a team full of ding dongs
Perhaps, but those three pitchers would be hard on any lineup
Those hitters will have to get good wood on the ball to win.
they need to pound the strike zone

@jasoncollette: Alex Torres has now faced 69 hitters this season. Outcomes: 4 hits (2 doubles), 5 BB, and 27 K's. 0 runs allowed

Sure glad they took him out today while he was cruising.

Takes a lot of Yankees to beat that Johnson

I feel comfortable saying that Jose Molina is the slowest player in MLB history.

Robbie just took the flip from SS, had a cup of coffee and a sandwich, then threw out Molina at 1st for the double-play.

So awesome. I think he did a crossword puzzle after the sandwich.
His younger bro Yadier isn't exactly grease lightning, either.
Unlike their older brother Bengie.

It looked like a thought about running the ball over to first.
Brandon McCarthy loved it.

Toronto looking like less of a bust team right now being only 5 games back. Good thing we still have the two train wrecks in SoCal.

Every single team in the AL East is at least 2 games over .500. This seems worth pointing out if it hasn't been already.

top 3 winning percentages are all in the NL Central.
It helps when the bottom two teams are a combined 20-44 versus the top 3.
Wouldn't that make them .500 against the rest of the league and help support the notion that the top 3 teams in the central are very good?

Sure.

I'm benching Matt Moore for the fourth straight game. Seems like only yesterday I was wildly overreacting to his first poor start.
Toronto is K prone and has a few guys known to scuffle vs. lefties. Yeah, they're hot right now, but at this point in the season I can't see benching Moore against all but the best of lineups. If you're benching him you should look to move him.

Moore has given up 22 earned runs in his last 18 innings, leading to a line of 10.61 ERA / 2.35 WHIP / 7.2 K/9 in his last four starts.

He has plenty of reason to consider benching him against Toronto and everyone else right now. A few more outings of this nature and he's pretty much WW fodder. April was a long time ago.

He's basically untradeable for me. He's not keeper eligible. And I'm in second place, so I'm not keen to sell him this low to a contender.

I'm happy to wait it out. I'm ahead in innings, so it doesn't hurt me much. Mostly I was commenting on how drastically things have changed. As RnR pointed out, he's hasn't just been bad; he's been really bad.
