On behalf on FBG I would like to congratulate you on being the millionth person to use that joke.Please see a Mod to find out what you've won.When Minny doesn't turn in a card...opps, I guess that wouldn't qualify.BIG surprise I said.Well, who do you think is going to go third?so when does everyone think we'll get our first real surprise?
The Draft Cast on ESPN has one.I think the draft tracker (pick your site - ESPN/CBSSL) should have a countdown clock. This wouldn't be too difficult to administer.
http://footballguys.com/drinenneedle.htmConclusions: So history has taught us that successful rookie wide receivers can come from the following kinds of teams:Lemme find a Drinen link for you,Is Ronnie Brown the early frontrunner for #1 rookie pick? I don't think Edwards could be ahead of him unless he got traded to a more offensive club.For fantasy owners, let's hope the pick is anyone but Cedric Benson or Cadillac Williams.
The draft just isn't the same without the Jets fans booing a Jets 1st round pick.
Perfect thanks!! I'm at work, with no TV, so this is great.The Draft Cast on ESPN has one.I think the draft tracker (pick your site - ESPN/CBSSL) should have a countdown clock. This wouldn't be too difficult to administer.
That was a good article when I read it some time ago. I think with the recent success of Boldin, Clayton, Johnson & Roy FFers are gonan be looking more and more at taking rookie WRs early. It's still a bad idea I say since the consensus #1/#2 rookie WR (NFL & FF draft) have yet to be the #1/#2 performing rookie WR in FF. If you really want a rookie WR, wait til the last rounds and roll dice.http://footballguys.com/drinenneedle.htmConclusions: So history has taught us that successful rookie wide receivers can come from the following kinds of teams:Lemme find a Drinen link for you,Is Ronnie Brown the early frontrunner for #1 rookie pick? * good teams;
* bad teams;
* pass-oriented teams;
* run-oriented teams;
* teams that already had a good receiving corps;
* teams that had a terrible collection of WRs;
* teams with veteran QBs;
* teams with rookie QBs;
* teams with good QBs;
* teams with bad QBs;
* teams with a rotating carousel of QBs;
And the worst part is that, at least to my eye, all these kinds of teams appear equally likely to produce successful rookie WRs. What a mess. So have we accomplished anything here? I'm not sure. I guess what I'll take from this exercise is that perhaps that buzzword "situation" is overrated when it comes to considering rookie WRs. The successful rookies in the past 16 years have come from a bewilderingly diverse collection of different situations.
Same here! I'm probably refreshing this post a little too often.Perfect thanks!! I'm at work, with no TV, so this is great.The Draft Cast on ESPN has one.I think the draft tracker (pick your site - ESPN/CBSSL) should have a countdown clock. This wouldn't be too difficult to administer.
Hes thinking about that line.don't cry, Cedric, Chicago's not that bad.
Well, Thomas Jones, we hardly knew ye. Thy name is 3rd down back.
CaddyBMWAnybody want to bet the daily double and try and predict the next two picks for the Yucks and then the Titans?
How about the trifecta and make it the Yucks, Titans, and Vikes?

Boldin's certainly an example of how a bad situation doesn't have to be a negative. Braylon Edwards' situation isn't great, but Trent Dilfer and Kellen Winslow aren't terrible.That was a good article when I read it some time ago. Mike Williams ( I hope )
I don't understand what this means.Gruden already had Keyshawn, does he want Edwards too?
As long as he can run the ball hard, it hardly matters how he speaks.Wow, I had him as my #1 guy throughout this process but he sure sounds like a bust. A little unstable.
I watched Jerry MaGuire last night and Suzie's interview reminded me of Roy Firestone's with Rod Tidwell.Anybody else think Suzie is sucking harder than usual? What a dumb interview, quit bringing him down.
Assuming no trades:
Bucs: C Williams
Titans: Rolle
Vikings: M. Williams
Cards: Rogers
Perhaps he has Social Anxiety Disorder? That would be too funny!Wow, I had him as my #1 guy throughout this process but he sure sounds like a bust. A little unstable.
It looks to me that bigger WRs isn't nearly as important to Gruden's offense as speedy WRs. Route running takes precedence over size as well.I don't understand what this means.Gruden already had Keyshawn, does he want Edwards too?
And they're hoping it won't be for a long, long time.Going back to SF pick of Alex Smith - Why not trade down? Tim Rattay is serviceable - at least until a better lineup of QB's come out. I could see them taking a QB #1 if Leinert came out. Smith is not going to start next year, will he? I'm thinking not. Why not trade down and possibly get two first rd picks where you can draft for need. A productive LB to compliment Julian Peterson, and OL help. QB is not their major need, IMO.
When his arms not falling off.Tim Rattay is serviceable
Edwards was just drafted by the Browns. I don't get the relevance to Tampa.It looks to me that bigger WRs isn't nearly as important to Gruden's offense as speedy WRs.
