Great show and I can hardly stand the suspense.  I need to know what happens and I have to wait until Monday to see the next episode so I guess I am gonna have to sit and ponder :hot:

yes, the show is about a prison break tool, but if you can make a sarcastic comment about a top quality show, it is clear you haven't watched it. There is nothing quite as suspensful as the show. Certainly not Invasion.

And then what? If you've watched the show, you'll know that getting out will only be half the battle.

No slow playing that episode. Lot of information to take in. I'm still wondering if they're gonna take that guy who killed the guard with them or leave him behind.

I like this show as well. It is also awesome in HDTV, right up there with Lost in terms of real quality sound/picture. Other HDTV shows look nice but don't feel like you are watching a movie like this does.Anyway, I did have one issue with last night's show. When the step-dad clubbed the agent with a piece of wood, the agent was barely fazed and shot the step-dad. I know they were just trying to let the kid escape, but c'mon, if someone was pointing a gun at my son/step-son and I had a 2x4 (or baseball bat - can't remember exactly what he hit him with), that guy would be unconscious. Swinging a piece of wood as hard as you want and hit the guy in the head, he's down, plus if he isn't on the first try, just keep wacking. Don't stop after one hit and tell your son to run and get shot.

last night was a great episode.- the revelation that the evil chick is the VP and is behind her own brothers murder and coverup was pretty big.- thought that the kid getting the picture of the bad guy with his phone was pretty clever.

The VP behind the killing of her own brother sure does open a whole new path of wonder..Should be interesting to see where that leads.

Great show. I love it. Interesting that just about everyone in the show has green eyes. I cannot wait for both Bellick and T-bag to get shanked. ;)

Up until that point I thought she was the First Lady. Either way, this is going to get more interesting.

That's cuz he whiffed and hit him in the back. The step dad didn't seem like the most athletic type.

L.J. runs around the city barefoot, but when he gets off the bus where Veronica is, he's wearing shoes. Anyone else notice that?

you miss the part where he stole the pair of shoes out of the sleeping guys duffel bag at the bus station?

another great episode and tension mounts. The show like 24 does get a "serial" type feel to it with predicaments to the plan that keep showing up to work around. I found the insight into the character of scofield to be fasinating.

Like the show and will continue to watch but getting tired of the constant re-working of the escape plan. Thought they jumped the shark with it this week. Let the plan run it's course and develop the backstory of the kid, lawyer, VP, etc. As it was so eloquently pointed out above, pretty safe bet they get out.

I know, but he didn't really whiff. He knocked him to the ground so it had to be a decent hit, but don't you think he could have kept hitting? He was the step-dad, didn't really like the kid, so I figure his survival instincts take over and he keeps whacking instead of letting the agent calmly take out the gun and shoot him.I don't know, I just stuck in my craw (not sure of that phrase, don't think I ever typed it before). I know it was just a scene where at the end only the kid could stay alive for the conspiracy to keep going, so I am OK with it, but I thought it could have been done better.

On the other hand, last night's episode was good again and I am really looking forward to the rest of the season. I am still trying to figure out how long it will take for the escape and then where they are going to go with the cover up. I also wonder if the escape will end season 1 and season 2 will be more like the move/TV Show "The Fugutive" trying to clear their names.

I kind of liked last night's episode. I don't think the escape plan has been re-worked at all, they are just encountering issues that are derailing the plan and taking care of them. Last night and it looks like next week are going to go back to the whole Mob story line. Remember that Abruzzi is helping Schofield because Schofield knows the informant's name. It makes sense to me that they have a problem there because the Mob boss is getting impatient and gives the new guy the leadership.

One thing that bugged me about last night's episode... I've never had my eyeball removed with a broken lightbulb, but I would think it would bleed profusely, and I would think there would be some sort of penalty (time in the hole) for my cellmate when the guards came to treat me.Other than that, good episode. It's like OZ-light.And I really hope LJ was smart enough to delete that last text message.

On the eye thing, we have seen most of the time that the inmates don't rat on each other, so I could easily see the guards not caring if the guy doesn't want to say who did it. They have shown a few times, like last night when Schofield wacked that other guy's leg. The guard asked what happened and he said it was nothing and the guard could have cared less. They also didn't investigate Schofield's missing toe when Abruzzi chopped it off because Schofield said it was an accident. It's not like the guards really care for the well-being of inmates, so if the inmate won't say who did it, oh well. The only time the guards have cared was when one of their own was killed and even then the old guy wouldn't say who did it so his cat got killed.

I agree on the text message. If they end up using that it would be ridiculous.

I missed the toe incident, caught the ep last night when the doc fixed him up - why / how did he lose his toes?

Wow did anyone watch tonight or everyone watching football? Interesting that schofield burned that mob boss bad.

I watched that entire show and did not see that scene. Strange. Interesting that they fit though. :)

Watch football, record Prison Break.Bad burn.....very well done. I was surprised that Abruzzi was in on it.

Obviously chalk it up to fiction, but this is another silly thing about the show. No way does the mob send their top 4 guys to make that hit. They'd send a grunt to do the job incase something like this happened. In the fantasy realm of TV, it was a great screwjob.. but like a lot of things with this show, you have to suspend reality while watching.

You mean this isn't a reality series? ;)

I don't know, but since Brodie8307 is from Jersey, I assume that he has actually taken part in a few mob hits and so he knows definitively that the mob hit portrayed on TV could never have gone down as scripted. ;)

It was a little less tense this week. The episode this week seemed to be advancing the plot. Not any moments that were jaw dropping but cannot have that every week. Great character developments, definitely.

I am now officially caught up with this show after watching the remaining episodes that I recorded. One thought....What happens if they do escape, but at the same time Veronica and Nick prove Lincoln's innocence. I can see that happening. They would then have to break back into prison. Enthralling TV!

That is an interesting question. I wonder what the ruling on that would be in real life. I know in a TV Show that if the news gets out on his innocence then he will be free, but it would be interesting to see what would happen in real life since the break out was for a crime that he shouldn't have been in prison for in the first place. Also, I am not a real big fan of the new super-agent guy. I kind of like how he came in and acted like he was clueless and then broke the guys hand. I just thought it was a little silly the way he was able to track the IM to the exact location even though Veronica was connected through her wireless service. I also like when the bad agent got pissed at the VP and basically told her that she unleashed something that she won't be able to control.

Yeah those James Bond-like tracking devices are pretty sweet. I don't think we can get those at the nearest Best Buy. The Govt. has all kinds of things like that, that we the public just don't have access to. I gotta believe something like that exists.

All of them but Lincoln are guilty of crimes that put them there to begin with including Michael. If they come back, the only charges against Lincoln would be escape, and if he didn't escape he would have been put to death. The others will probably get it added to their sentences. At least the ones that live. I love the show.

'Prison Break' producer found dead at Drake Hotel

November 15, 2005

BY LISA DONOVAN AND FRANK MAIN Staff Reporters

A producer for the Fox network television series "Prison Break," which is filmed in a former state prison in Joliet, was found dead in his North Michigan Avenue hotel room Monday afternoon, the victim of an apparent drug overdose, according to authorities.

Matthew Houbrick, 42, of Calabasas, Calif., was found dead about 3:30 p.m., in his 6th floor room at the Drake Hotel.

Some white powder, believed to be cocaine or heroin, was also found in the room, a source close to the investigation told the Chicago Sun-Times.

It was unclear how long Houbrick had been dead, but a police source said a Hollywood producer was concerned about the man and asked hotel staff to make a well-being check. Police officials obtained the information about his job title, but Fox network spokesmen did not confirm Houbrick's death late Monday.

Worked on '7th Heaven'

The drama "Prison Break," currently in its first season, tells the tale of a man who robs a bank in order to get caught. This allows him to be sent to the same prison where his older brother wrongly sits on Death Row for an assassination. The younger brother plans a breakout for the both of them.

The series is filmed at the former Joliet Correctional Center, where generations of hard-core criminals served time.

Houbrick's credits include working as supervising producer for the WB's "Charmed" from 1999 to 2000, as well as other production work on "7th Heaven," the 1990s' series "The Love Boat: The Next Wave" and "Pacific Palisades," according to the Internet Movie Database.

Good episode (just watched it last night)How about the one black dude calling out T-Bag... "Your parents must be so proud of you, hitting the trailer-park trifecta. You're racist, a pedophile AND stupid."Something's gonna go down between those two and somehow I don't think T-Bag is gonna come out victorious.

Best new show of the season.I have to think that the prison escape and the proving that Lincoln is innocent will not happen at the same time. I think I remember reading somewhere that after the prison break the shows will concentrate on the latter. What will happen when both are accomplished? Show over? I think this is a great idea but where it leads, who knows? Is the last episode on Nov 28th b/c Fox is getting reading to rip out another season of 24 on Monday nights? I'm still waiting for the 24 Fox hype commercials.

He is probably another Bears fan that finally realized that they are only 6-3 because they play in the worst division in football and they will get knocked out of the playoffs in the first round, just like they did when they masqueraded as a 13-3 pretender, er..I mean contender a couple years ago.

Actually, I think you should be talking about the AFC East as the worst division in football.

Wow didn't expect that tonight. I won't say anything for those who haven't watched it yet but that kind of throws a wrench into the plans.
