Apparently,  the quick loss to Becky is rumored to be "punishment ' for Belair for missing some house show dates. I didn’t even know she did and that was even a thing.

Vince gonna be Vince I guess.

 
Why Goldberg?  Does he have any fans left?  I never really thought him to be a GREAT name of the past....and to bring him back now just seems sloppy...particularly since he was a great tactician to begin with AND doesn't seem to be quite as imposing as he was.  He own stock in the company or something?

She has a very stale character. Good athlete women wise but her character doesn't seem to go over well with the crowd. I didn't watch last night, saw most of the results on my phone. And Honestly not shocked. Typical WWE booking. Minute Lynch came back she was taking the SD title. Always felt like Belair was just a place holder to protect the other women. 

Edge winning not a surprise. Roman Winning I was a bit surprised as I thought for sure they'd give Cena the Strap to break the record.Lesnar coming back as a face vs Roman and Heyman should be interesting. Charlotte winning the title again? Not surprised. Lashley beating Goldberg not surprised but that should be McIntyre's belt. 

I have no interest in RKBro and Matt Riddle just needs to be punched in the face. AJ Should be gunning for a major title though. No idea what else was going on but last night was predictable WWE Booking at it's best.

I completely agree on Belair. Back in the 80s she would have had a manager to talk for her, because she is a promo black hole.

As for the rest, it was predictable. I'm not sure I agree about Styles though. He's great, but he's also 44 or 45 years old. I think mentoring some of the younger talent is exactly what he should be doing.

No. There was talk about Sasha not being in the match for whatever reason. I'm still trying to get someone who knows someithing. Unfortunately my one really good contact left twitter a few months ago and I had no other contact info for him. He was just a metal friend who'd pass stuff down to me from time to time though but he'd have been on the ball on this sort of issue. 

I always felt Belair was a place holder because as athletic she is, her character doesn't get over. I don't think Vince panicked because everyone is saying WWE wasn't going to be reactionary to Punk and Bryan going to AEW. There is talk that USA Network People are furious because they were led to believe Punk would eventually comeback though or were promised by WWE he'd come back eventually

Finally some more non WWE stuff to look forward too. My Weekend got destroyed and could've went to the ROH night 2 but I'm way too exhausted and we're suppose to have a really bad storm. I also got screwed over at work or would've went to Night 1 last night

Both her and Sasha missed house shows there was no reason given. I think Sasha was probably taken out of the match as punishment then. 

 
Belair won't ever get over as a face.

Nick Khan was interviewed by Helwani (who he was former agent of) and it was awful. Literally never answered Helwanis questions. Full of jargon and cliches amounting to nothing 🤣 What a trainwreck. Crazy that guy's in charge of decision making. If he's there for any reason than preparing for a sale I'd be stunned.

Gonna go celebrate Nicole Bella never being on WWE programming again. :towelwave:

I'm sure his agent got him a good (guaranteed) deal.

He doesn't have any business in there. He's got no leg strength at all left. Which is kind of a big deal for one that relies solely on power moves.

Father time never loses.

I think I read he's got 1 or 2 matches left. I do him and Riddle. I turn Riddle heel soon on Orton (even though he'll get cheers vs Goldberg)

I'd mark out if Goldberg during the match shoot wrestled Riddle and literally fought the guy. Riddle despite Bill's age would get squashed like a bug

Did he look more odd than before, or was it just cause he was in jeans?  I almost felt like he'd shrunk some and maybe his muscles weren't really still firm.  :oldunsure:

The whole look for Lesnar Sat night was odd. Boots, jeans, man bun, wife beater. Nothing there was classic Lesnar. And I'm here for it. It's like Sable called him off the tractor, told him to clean up and go face down Roman. 

I would like to think it might have been a "break glass in case of Emergency" for Vince after Punk on Friday night. In that case, might need a few workouts for Lesnar to get to Beast Mode.

The manbun looked weird, like he only had hair on the front half of his head and the ponytail was at the top of his head not the back.

After seeing the ratings for Rampage, it's obvious the Punk return was going to blow SS out of the water in terms of wrestling talk.  This was the best ( :lol:  ) Vince could do.

 
It's cute that WWE has had Roman Reigns and now Booker T try and rain on CM Punk's return. Saying he didn't move the needle or saying that his promo only talked about WWE and was boring.

While I still respect the work Reigns is doing, Booker T has moved into "old man, get off my lawn, yelling at the sky" mode for me.

When Jim Cornette has a better opinion on Punk’s AEW debut than you, you need to re-evaluate your life choices.

Reigns was acting more in character. He's doing a lot of interviews in his heel persona. WWE has always sent Booker out to sh** on ex talent that PO The E. 

Booker is nothing more then a Corporate KA and WWE's ***** and goon. He along with a few others they send out after talent. My next guess is Triple H will have some comments followed by the other stooges WWE employs along with the irrelevant guys desperate hoping WWE ReSigns them. Willing to Bet Ryback has a few thought on this pretty negative on Punk too.

It's funny how all the dirt sheets prior to Punk's debut said WWE didn't have any counter arguments or strikes to Punk, yet the whole "lets #### on Punk" goon squad is being paraded out by WWE. WWE has also taken shots at Moxley over the last month too. 

Not only this but WWE can plead all they want and deny it, but the booking for SummerSlam was reactionary to Rampage and Punk.

After being absent from basically his entire career....I'll finally be able to see CM Punk perform.  This guy better walk on water by the way he's been built up.  

 
AEW and TNT I think Is trolling Vince they aired gladiator after Dynamite which is the movie Paul Wight recently said Vince denied him of filming in when he was with WWE
