Miro arrived back from Europe and might be backstage

Also apparently members of Bullet Clubs such as Chase Owens are in Vegas so we could see some Bullet Club action possible getting involved in Adam Cole match or World Title match.

JR dropping the "Ruby dont take your love to town" reference will always be funny during a Ruby Soho match.  Using a 50 year old song that the majority of viewers have no idea of, and I only know about it because Adam Carolla had a rant on it years back on his podcast.

My wrestling fandom bookends the Punk heyday. I was not a fan of the main event outcome, but I hope it means big business for AEW going forward.

I want Okada vs Danielson and Punk vs Tanahashi for Forbidden Door. Just go for broke with that show, make it one to never forget.

I’m old enough to remember that song, bud. <_<

Apparently one of the big reasons Steph is taking a break is she was getting backlash and people doubting her abilities with promoting and stuff. Most of the jobs she was being doubted are jobs that was run by another employee before she got dismissed during the pandemic. There's a apparently a lot more to this story then originally thought now.

LOL, today at the Cubs game is "WWE Day", the first fans all got fanny packs with a "belt" on it, Happy Corbin threw out the first pitch and will sing the Seventh Inning Stretch.   They need to really lean into it, and have a fight between innings where the bullpen guys come running in with folding chairs, someone elbow drops off the top of the dugout...

Would you settle for a tag match with those four guys in it? I think both companies are going to do their best to protect their guys, so lots of tag matches (where eating a pin isn't as big a deal) with a sprinkle of Dusty finishes.

It would be quite disappointing if there weren't at least one major title defense. Tanahashi loses quite a lot now, he is transitioning to New Japan Dad status.

I would hope we get a few singles matches. It looks like possible The Empire vs FTR for the ROH belts at the PPV possible after the attack last week. AEW is in LA this week near the LADojo where they tape Strong and I could see some of those guys coming in tomorrow night.

Bray Wyatt/Windham has posted some cryptic stuff again, changed his handle/name adding a '6' to both and says he's ready to return. Guy has had one match since 2020 and still is a top trend on social media.

While a return to AEW makes the most sense (and they sign everyone right now), I don't think you can count out a return to the WWE. Wrestlemania 39 in Hollywood will be here before you know it and they need to be building stories now. Letting Windham slow build something for a huge cinematic finish would be good business. (yes, they aren't that smart, but a blind squirrel is right twice a day)

I was flipping around the channels and stopped on AEW because Punk and FTR were wrestling. I was shocked how sloppy Punk was. He missed some kicks badly, slipped on the rope as he tried to leap over it and botched a powerbomb where he was supposed to throw one of Billy Gunn's kids into Billy.

Are all AEW matches 6 on 6 tag teams?  Every time I flip over there it's a battle royal with mowgli flying all over the place.  I guess when you have 300 workers and only 2 hours you have to cram everyone in somehow. The whole locker room is made up of, what, 11 factions?  Dark order, bullets, circle, black powder, Jurassic express, orange juices, Lucha blondes.

At least they have ref Aubrey and her face out there to keep everyone in line.

I stumbled on that match last night as well.  Frankly, it was embarrassing to watch.

Punk should be wrestling like Austin at the end of his career, punch, kick, safe finisher, instead he's trying Buckshot Lariats and doing pretty weak versions of GTS.

Wrestling Observer finds it most likely that Okada's opponent (assuming he retains at Dominion) will be Hangman. Which is an OK alternative to Danielson but not as awesome tbh.

MJF, wow. Best promo in a decade. When he got up close to the camera and got all red in the face it reminded me  of a young Flair promo. Dude is unreal.

I watched MJF at a couple indie shows before AEW was ever a whisper of a rumor and thought he was very talented. That was apparent, but I didn't think he was going to be undeniably great, primarily because I never thought he'd have a national showcase.

I think you really have to credit Tony Khan and company for developing their talent. MJF and Darby Allin are stars. Jungle Boy will be one too, in the not so distant future.

Vince could learn a thing or two from TK here

Per the Observer Meltzer said a line up he saw for FB was incorrect. Matches for the show are being kept secrete

Really strange PPV for WWE this weekend.

Only six matches on the card, only one Hell In A Cell match for the PPV named Hell In A Cell. No Roman, no Bloodline, no RKBro. Only two titles defended. A two on one match that doesn't have a result that makes sense. Bobby wins, you are burying Omos, Omos and MVP win, they should because there isn't a weak participant like most Handicap matches.

I forgot to cancel Peacock before they billed me this month, so I will watch, just in case Windham shows up.

I doubt he comes in at this PPV this use to be One Night Stand Extreme Rules PPV month. I forgot to cancel mine too.

Mrs. Foley's Baby Boy's Little Girl is venturing into alternative forms of revenue that only her fans might enjoy.

I would imagine it will stay PG-13, you can decide if that's worth $19.99 or not.
