You know all you are going to hear tonight from the crowd are chants of CM Punk.

With the amount of coverage this firing has received (ESPN,SI, even Forbes has a story on it) part of me is like, this can't be a work or can it??

Drainmaker:

Tony Khan was CM Punk's biggest fan in the world. A total Punk mark. He even gave him a second chance after Brawl Out this year, gave him his own show for crying out loud and then last week that sh** happened in Gorilla.

For THAT man to have to terminate you, it's just a shame.

Edge in coming confirmed

The self proclaimed AEW TNT Champion “Christian Cage” has confirmed on the All Out media scrum that TK has officially re-signed Christian to a new AEW contract.

Was at All Out last night.

Massive Punk chants throughout the night. The busiest people at the PPv? Security. They were confiscating Punk signs all night. They were also making people with Punk shirts - some even made during his time at AEW - inside out. Most wound up then just turning them back after turning inside out.

Pretty lackluster show overall. Had not already committed to going and bought tickets, wouldn't have went. Without Punk/Punk-led Collision, have no interest in their product. PPV felt like another Dynamite with a bunch of random matches. The best performance of the night far and away cosplay Punk, cosplay Jungle Boy and cosplay Tony Khan 👀 in the crowd. Absolutely hilarious 😂

Crowd was emptying out during Orange guy and Moxley. Orange is an okay opening/midcard act nothing more.

KO trolled Punk after the Brawl Out last year plus KO and haven’t gotten ed along since Punk did Colt dirty so not buying this for a minute other then Punk wanted out then

Fightful reports CM Punk favored returning to WWE at the end of 2022 following the Brawl Out situation.

Though AEW never considered actually giving Punk his release. Punk reportedly wanted to return at the 2023 Royal Rumble and then have a match at WrestleMania 39 against the person who would've eliminated him.

That person is rumored to be Kevin Owens.

That’s pretty common in WWE too l. So that’s nothing different. Also I’ve seen multiple reports say the crowd was surprisingly anti Punk. My cousin has family in Chicago who went and said there was a few punk chants but drowned out by majority. Also through the TV didn’t seem like that loud of a crowd.

That’s interesting the arena seemed pretty full still

Kevin Kelly announced on Twitter that he will be leaving NJPW after New Year's Dash 2024. He says he wants to spend more time with his wife of 32 years.

PWInsider: Bryan Danielson in AEW has risen greatly in terms of behind the scenes influence politically over the last six weeks.

Even before London, Danielson had taken on responsibility of trying to facilitate between talents.

Mark Henry seemingly calling punk out on busted open

“Now, you can freely go and there will be no more complaining. The problem is gone. The so-called problem is gone. Everything should be sh**s and giggles and unicorn p** and rainbow blankets now.

That's what it should be there, right? I'm curious to see how it's going to be. The problem is finally solved."

PWInsider: CM Punk has been removed from the AEW roster, as well as graphics for Collision going forward.

CM Punk related AEW merchandise will be pulled from the Pro Wrestling Tees website later this week as well.

Becky needs the NXT title only one missing from the strap collection

Becky Lynch has challenged Tiffany Stratton for the NXT Women's Championship next week!

“One of my greatest experiences ever was being able to dorm with Sami Zayn in Japan. Hanging out during the days, doing the matches at nights then coming home and just chilling, watching old 80s and 90s action movies. I'm proud that he's doing so well."

- Kenny Omega (via The Sessions)

Lol I don't believe a word you said. Thanks for the update though.

This is a huge blow to the New Japan product. Kelly has been fantastic for them and will be missed.

I am nearly finished with the G1 Climax. I got sick in the middle of August and stopped watching, but only have a couple nights left now. Somehow I am still unspoiled.

I think Chris is taking over it possible and maybe Gino comes back I could see Matt Stryker going over there too.

Also its kind of cool to see Kevin and JR back together.

LA Knight has reportedly signed a new deal with WWE.

Knight signing the new contract is was what WWE had been waiting for before going forward with his push.

Going forward, LA Knight will be pushed as one of, if not the very top babyface for the Smackdown brand.

Congratulations to GUNTHER on surpassing The Honky Tonk Man as the longest reigning WWE Intercontinental Champion in company history at 454 plus days.

A report came out about today from PWInsider that, although the Bron Breakker/Von Wagner stunt on Tuesday was a work, there was a sense of panic backstage from officials and medics because the steps did accidentally connect with the back of Von’s head.

31 title defenses

326 days.

Thank you, Orange Cassidy!

Every former member of The Shield is a champion of some sort right now
The Shield was only three guys, Reigns, Moxley and Rollins. What am I missing?

Moxley beat Cassidy to win a championship. So right now Moxley, Reigns and Rollins all have belts.
Right, I thought he was saying Cassidy was in the Shield. Those run on sentences man 😝

WON: The Young Bucks were asked to meet with CM Punk at the 8/23 event in Duluth, GA, since Dynamite and Collision were both being taped.

They declined due to the flurry of CM Punk related incidents just prior to this request, including Punk's legal team sending a letter to AEW claiming they had violated an agreement not to speak about each other.

The supposed violation happened in a skit on an episode of BTE where they reference an older BTE skit where Matt Jackson ruined a Chilli's endorsement deal for the Elite forcing them to wrestle forever.

Punk's name was not mentioned anywhere in the skit.

Between this, Punk having Ryan Nemith and Christopher Daniels banned from Collision and then Punk cutting the promo about Hangman Page. The Bucks had reportedly said that if Punk could go at least 6 months without some kind of problem, they would consider a meeting.

Matt Hardy: “[Tony] sent a jet down there and carried all the AEW talents up to TV in Indianapolis. Once again, just showing how good hearted of a human being he is.

He really made it work out so that everyone that wanted to attend could attend [Bray Wyatt’s funeral].”

When asking WWE sources if there had been any movement on signing Drew McIntyre to a new deal, it was said that WWE had been mostly focused on finalising the Endeavor WWE acquisition so there hadn't been much, if any movement.

It was also noted that WWE had not rushed to lock McIntyre into a new deal as they had time to work on it, with one source noting that with McIntyre having taken time off earlier this year, there was additional time added to his contract.

Not only is Punk a cancer, he also needs to grow some bark.

Good to see that "record" fall. Honky Tonk Man was a clown. When you go back and watch his matches, he was pretty horrible in the ring. If not for hitting people with his guitar, which was an easy and cheap way to get heat, no one ever would cared enough about him to boo.

Dude hides behind others constantly while talking smack then throws that person under the bus. Has done it for yrs. I was a huge punk guy growing up. I watch his old ROH stuff on honor club. But as I grew older I realized the real person phil brooks is and it’s not someone I’d want to be around in i knew on a more personal level. Just seems like a toxic person overall

I'll be at F1rst Wrestling's Saturday Night Nitro tonight at the Mall of America. I've typically only attended their Wrestlepalooza events but this sounds like fun - in the same mall rotunda that WCW held a Nitro event many moons ago. Matt Hardy was publicized for the Fan Fest event last night but hasn't been announced on the card tonight. Holding out hope he'll see some mat time.

Kevin Nash believes that CM Punk has put himself on the mantle next to The Ultimate Warrior with his recent antics:

"He’s already put himself on the mantle right next to The Ultimate Warrior. Go shake the ropes buddy, you punched Luke Perry’s son, sucker punching his son."
